Believe it or not, Celestial had a prophecy of seemingly undead people cannibalising everybody else. Either they’re spiritually undead (biologically alive but spiritually dead) or they seem undead due to some kind of disease and/or mishap, it could be both of them but it could also be the latter to a big extent. Because of the threat of being eaten by somebody else, to the point where one must find a way to take a dump without being attacked by chance. I feel this is America’s comeuppance for enabling somebody’s gluttony, especially when it comes to obesity.
While there are fat people who do exercise (sometimes a lot like sumo wrestlers and some weightlifters) and others who take surgery to get rid of the excess fat and skin, there are others who are so defensive about their health condition that they sometimes live in denial of what they’re suffering from. This could be God’s punishment for Americans’ gluttony, given many of them are spoilt with a lot of fast food restaurants and junk food brands. While the Philippines may not be any better with Jollibee, Tropical Hut, Angel’s Pizza and Greenwich Pizza, America takes the cake by having a lot of fast food and junk food brands.
America has Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, Burger King, Popeyes, Wendy’s, Domino’s Pizza, Little Caesars, Subway, Sonic, Papa John’s, Taco Bell, KFC, Hardee’s, White Castle and Dunkin. The worst thing about this is that a good number of them have branches here in the Philippines, I should be thankful that I don’t eat much fast food since we can’t afford a lot of it everyday or even every week. But the thing here is that America has a lot of food deserts, especially to those who are cash-strapped that they’re stuck with fast food most of the time.
Maybe cannibalism is one way to solve this problem, however gruesome and macabre it can be. Per the blog’s namesake song, the prophecy took place in Manhattan in New York City. New York City may not be the capital of America, that goes to Washington DC but it’s one of America’s more recognisable cities. It’s the city that gives us the MET Gala, Marvel Comics, Garment District and possibly several more that I may have missed. I actually think it might be more widespread than that, not just the East Coast as she saw.
But also anywhere else in America, whether if it’s the West Coast, the Midwest or the South. One would horribly wonder if fat people would be the first to be eaten by the (seemingly) undead, since they seem to have a lot that would be enough to satiate one’s appetite. Even more disturbing is that somebody at Why God Really Exists had a vision of seeing people eating their own pets, perhaps this is payback for all the white Americans sneering at Asians for eating dogs. Kind of darkly ironic to think Americans will actually do this.
But the fact that not all Asians eat dogs, in fact this is declining that it’s about time westerners will finally get a taste of their own medicine in this prophesised situation. Who’s laughing now? Perhaps God does care about our feelings, though his solutions aren’t always what we want them to be. In America’s (and the entire western world’s) case, they have a serious obesity epidemic that starvation and cannibalism are his solutions to their shared problem. Not the nicest of all solutions, where some will even eat their own children.
Since westerners have gotten so gluttonous, that starvation is God’s solution to their problem.
