Not necessarily unique

Like I said before, there are certain cultural beliefs, customs and practises that aren’t necessarily unique as much as they’re apparently more prevalent elsewhere among certain places and communities. Canine witchcraft’s not unheard of in Nigeria but it’s more common outside of it like Ghana and Cameroon. In the same manner vulpine witchcraft’s not unheard of in Europe at some point but are either more common or persistent in East Asia.

Similarly enough, on a milder note, Disney comics do have readers in America but they’re far more popular in Europe. Witch and Monster Allergy comics were originally made in Italy that were republished here in the Philippines. Or that African mail order brides in general aren’t entirely unheard of but that Cameroonian ones are more extensively documented and remarked.

While basketball’s not entirely unheard of elsewhere, it’s eclipsed in popularity by football around the world. However, it’s more popular among Americans and Filipinos. Ad infinitum where certain things are either more common or popular elsewhere.
