Subset of a greater nation

Celestial said something that regarding the table of nations, countries that seem to be separate from one another are really subsets of a greater nation or people. It’s this way between Northern Ireland (currently a part of Britain) and the Republic of Ireland, which is what happened when most of Ireland seceded from the United Kingdom. They could reunite one day if Britain dissolves into three separate nation-states (England, Wales and Scotland) not seen in centuries, though the exact same thing can be said of between North Korea and South Korea. The real reason why South Korea came into existence is because America wanted to contain the spread of socialism into the Korean peninsula, so socialism only became a feature of the northern half longer. Likewise Singapore was part of Malaysia proper, to the extent that there are even a degree of similarities between the two. Or Malaysia and Indonesia in a way as they actually speak the same language but with different registers dependent on their former colonisers (Britain and the Netherlands respectively).

America might be exempt but not in a good way as it’s really Mystery Babylon, the nation-state said to corrupt the world only to be destroyed later on by both outside forces and internal strife. A double-minded country that is so internally divided that it’s never going to remain united for long, it has happened before but briefly. This man was Jefferson Davis and he was the only president of the Confederated States so far, though a new civil war could usher in somebody who could arguably be his reincarnation. Maybe not necessarily so but that their position would mirror his, regarding ruling over a newly divided United States not seen in years, quite alarmingly they might be a kind of figurehead for either a kind of seccessionist movement or an ethnic separatist movement. Celestial even said that there might be a racial war in America and a similar one would occur in South Africa, as both of them have been marked by racial segregation and are settler-colonial states themselves. This has also been prophesised by others before, that inevitably America will truly be a house divided.

I remember saying this before that not all African Americans despise or distrust their white counterparts and vice versa, though at other times this kind of unforgiveness boils into hatred and then violence. But there’s also no mistaking that a good number of African Americans have been so repeatedly traumatised by discrimination that some will even make the move elsewhere like Ghana for instance, given many Ghanaians don’t look much different from African Americans that it practically becomes hard to tell the difference. As for Mexican Americans, given ongoing xenophobia and fears of deportation, that even when not all of them feel this way but since we have reports of a Honduran American pupil getting deported to her ancestral country, that it seems the American dream has turned its back on them. Maybe some other country would welcome them with open arms, whatever those may be, it certainly isn’t America even if these countries aren’t without their own faults.

The idea that countries like Sweden and Denmark may also constitute subsets of one nation might also ring true in another way, as their own languages are highly mutually intelligible. Or the Italian city-states at some point, as they were part of an earlier Kingdom of Italy before reuniting again eventually. Then there’s also an argument to be made for the former Yugoslavia, though another one will bite the dust and it’s Bosnia.

Whither K-Pop

Nakita has a lot of videos concerning the spiritual state of the K-Pop industry and by extension, its originator South Korea itself, that it seems less appealing from the inside out. Not just that K-Pop trainees have to undergo grueling schedules to get to where they are or could be if they never become K-Pop musicians at all (E-Jay auditioned as one but ended up writing songs for the film ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’ instead), but there’s also the odd possibility of Satanic rituals getting done behind close doors that some K-Pop producers’ and musicians’ ascent to popularity takes on a more dubiously Faustinian quality. No different from their western counterparts to the extent of K-Pop musicians repeatedly alluding to the occult and the Devil himself, for they are rebellious and proud per the Bible’s stance on the same. There are even people who also said that JY Park is a false teacher who leads people astray with his dubious teachings and equally dubious music, which would explain why Stray Kids are called Stray Kids. He might even molest all members behind closed doors, but it’s not hidden to God and it will be found out in public.

I feel the issue of idolatry would be the same if somebody substitutes BTS for INXS, but what will differ is a change in sentiment towards South Korean mass culture/Hallyu. I suppose if more scandals were to be uncovered surrounding the K-Pop industry that it might even become unfashionable to publicly admit to liking K-Pop and Hallyu, that it may become highly stigmatised in the future. The issue of idolatry would remain if something like Hungarian, Romanian, Swedish and Polish music were to get really popularised in Canada, but it would become more socially acceptable to partake in anti-Korean sentiment there that to defend K-Pop is to be an outcast. And even then K-Pop is pretty questionable in and of itself, where you have others admitting they couldn’t get into K-Pop because they found the male musicians to be too effeminate and cartoonish. That’s not to say K-Pop boy bands and male solo musicians are necessarily effeminate, but they do things that are really strange for bands like Backstreet Boys and One Direction to regularly do. It’s not uncommon for K-Pop boy band members to dye their hair in strange colours, wear makeup and act cutesy. It would be really weird if many Backstreet Boys members did the same.

(The Backstreet Boys would also be judged for the same things their K-Pop counterparts do, to the point where they all die ingloriously as well as get found out for adultery, sex trafficking and filming snuff videos featuring women, children and animals.)

The western male musicians who do regularly wear makeup in any way are far likelier to be not at all from prefabricated boy bands, something like those from the Prodigy, Tokio Hotel, Culture Club, Duran Duran, Bauhaus, The Damned and the like, that if Bill Kaulitz had been a boy band member (if both Robbie Williams and Harry Styles are any indication), then he’d have to put on a facade of being somebody contrary to his usual presentation. Then again it’s possible it’s not uncommon for western boy bands to be molested by their producers, that they too get corrupted spiritually over time provided when occult activity’s involved at all (even Boyzone’s Shane Lynch said this). This makes their Korean counterparts even more peculiar given how popular they really are outside of South Korea, the way Japanese boy bands aren’t to the same extent and even those who aren’t from prefab bands aren’t well-known to the general public outside of Japanophiles. K-Pop might be popular among certain sectors of the general public, but it’s something that gets more international airplay than J-Pop does, at least for now if K-Pop were to end for real.

That’s from my experience listening to K-Pop not only on local (Philippine) radio stations but also their Mexican counterparts like Radio Disney (believe it or not, it’s still a thing in Latin America for now as the original one’s gone as it will sold to Brazil’s Globo to become Radio Jovem or something due to Disney’s failings), that K-Pop is really more popular among overseas audiences in a way J-Pop isn’t that you can be into K-Pop without really being into anime productions. It’s possible for one’s interest in J-Pop to grow independent of being into anime, but they’re generally entwined not just due to the nature of anime soundtracks containing those but also an overall Japanophilia. In the Philippines I kind of get the impression that Hallyu/South Korean mass culture’s more popular among non-anime fans, but it could be that Hallyu’s better marketed to those outside of geek circles. And even then it’s strange why would both South Korea and the Philippines, both East Asian countries with substantial Christian populations, would openly partake in idolatry that they will get comeuppances for what they do as to be given over to China forever.

South Korea might end up reuniting with North Korea, that the later version of Hallyu (if it were to persist in some way) would evolve to fit the new Korean reality at best. But even then the K-Pop industry as we know it might not exist anymore and likely the same for offshoots like P-Pop, where if a P-Pop industry were to grow substantially and since these musicians are openly referred to as idols, that such an industry and likely a degree of Korean (and moreso Western/American) influence in the Philippines will be revoked forever. If because the Philippines loves its sins and chooses to do evil, that the things that make it distinctive in East Asia will either be revoked or minimised, that eventually in the near future the Philippines will really be no different from the rest of its neighbours in most regards. South Korea would be no different either as it’s been suspected that K-Pop takes its cues from American music and more specifically African American music, quite unsurprisingly some of the earliest K-Pop musicians like Seo Taji were also into hip hop at some point, that such an industry would collapse and get revoked over time as well. Ultimately the K-Pop industry and its offshoots will be over, same goes for the J-Pop idol industry that it will look very different in the future.

And even if J-Pop were to continue existing in the future, it would be one where there are no openly proclaimed idols at all. It would be a different music industry in the wider East Asian region by then where there were once prefab boy bands and girl groups, now there are going to be more K-Rock, Trot, K-Rap and Ballad musicians as Trot is a genre specific to South Korea. There might still be singers who don’t write their own songs and play instruments, there might still be pop bands in the molds of Aqua and Ace of Base, but the boy band and girl group schools will be over by then. If because with these bands there’s a tendency to deliberate cultish interest in them, where members have to adopt personae to appeal to these people regardless of who they really are in person. And even their social media presence is more likely to be highly curated, considering that it might not fully reflect on what else interests them offline. It would be frightening if somebody like AJ McLean doesn’t have affairs with his fans (same with Nick Carter), but also films himself abusing women and animals (which Nick also does) that goes to show you their own public online presences don’t fully represent their actual personalities, given the nature of dark web.

And it would be pretty frightening if Nick Carter also films himself abusing women and animals mixed with Satanic rituals, that there will even come a time when all the Backstreet Boys will show up onstage dressed as demons and flashing the Satanic pentagram onscreen that makes you wonder who they actually serve, and it’s much likelier they don’t really serve God at all, despite Brian Littrell proclaiming himself to be a Christian. This is also true for their K-Pop counterparts and why such curated personae exist, even when the musicians themselves don’t consistently live up to it even in private and online. It’s not necessarily wrong to be in a vocal group and boy bands really do have their roots in doo-wop, but the way boy bands and girl groups are made deliberate idolatry in their fans that it’s likely why such affections exist in the first place. To the extent it’s wiser to do a Zac Hanson than to do a Brian Littrell, losing fans by mistake only to come closer to God and do the Great Commission (that Littrell himself wanted to do at some point). A would-be member named Burk Parsons went on to become a pastor instead, dodging a bullet that would’ve had fans writing pornographic stories about him by then. (This would’ve been called visuals at the height of BSB’s popularity.)

The way such obsession’s engineered and deliberated to even induce sexual obsessions with them at various points, even if it’s not unique to boy bands as others undergo this in a way as well, that even if not all boy band fans (much less K-Pop and BSB fans) remain like this, but it’s terribly not uncommon to find pornographic fanfictions with K-Pop and BSB really. And why it speaks volumes to this sort of engineered rebellion and idolatry that those who could’ve formed families (sometimes it doesn’t go as expected due to their own shortcomings affecting things) end up getting really devoted to those bands instead. The problem’s the same if you substitute Stray Kids with Stray Cats, but what’s different with K-Pop is how upfront it is about these things as to warrant getting removed for good. To close things though I didn’t get into any K-Pop band for real, I do have my moments of idolatry towards musicians and bands as to get disappointed at times, and I listened to K-Pop before until God told me to stop listening to this and eventually I did. Angelamarie Ucci said that idols can disappoint people (as it did to me before), that there’s a current backlash to Taylor Swift (her former favourite musician) for having a man she truly loves in her life.

It’s like this with one musician, though I’ve prayed for it, it does prove Ucci’s point right. She’s likely praying for Taylor Swift too and will be saved in due time, though it remains to be seen if it gets fulfilled at all, but ultimately there’s something about the showbiz industry that deliberates obsessive behaviours towards otherwise unlikable people that it feels like a cosmic prank played by Satan to go after people the public doesn’t genuinely trust and like all the time and why idolatry’s bad, which is something I still struggle with at times, to the point where things happen if I can’t worship God and Mammon. I do pray for them, though some will be answered in due time, as for others it might not be answered at all if they continue to do evil, so said the Lord.

Big Girls Do Cry

There are Christian prophets who say that America is really declining, that if God’s word were more trustworthy than the world, then it’s really on a downhill spiral and may not even return to prominence in any way its people like. It’s kind of telling that Elon Musk turned Twitter into a superapp because it’s trending in China for years, it’s unsurprising that this is what both Tumblr and Substack turned into to keep up with the times. Another is that TikTok/Douyin popularised the short-form video, even when America’s Vine originated it first, but it’s telling that at this point it’s China that’s popularising some of the things pioneered by America. And even when China isn’t always involved in other matters, it’s clear that America is declining as a superpower and may not even live past the 2020s in the future.

Celestial repeatedly said that America is Mystery Babylon, the nation-state said to corrupt the entire planet. One that will be destroyed by its worst enemies and closest allies alike, one that will never return to power in any way. It’s even more alarming that one of its biggest enemies, Russia, may even be given permission by God to rule over Europe and possibly North America to an extent for their own apostasies, that ultimately America as the face of western civilisation will be undone and unseated by its former Cold War rival. It’s kind of bad enough that America succeeded in popularising nearly every vice imaginable in the modern world, even if things like homosexuality’s already legalised for years in Sweden and France, it’s America that gave gay culture form and ammunition.

This is particularly evident when it comes to things like female musicians getting gay male fans for some reason, popularising gay porn in nearly all its permutations and perhaps more than that. It’s kind of surreal that America also boasts a substantial Christian media market, a good deal moreso than in Europe and Canada, which makes for a really spiritually unstable culture. Unsure which stance to stand on, unsure which side to choose and stick to. Even if African, East Asian, European and other American countries aren’t any better in this regard either, America seems to have a disregard for having or rather needing any consistency over such matters that it really is duplicitous. It’s weird that a country that popularises rubbish like Playboy and Penthouse would also house prominent Christian ministries, sometimes under one roof as with Cru and the porn industry being there in California, that it sets the tone for the way American culture turned out to be.

Perhaps it is for the better that America has to decline as it has transgressed beyond that is repairable, beyond what is acceptable and tolerable for long, it’s gone way too far with itself that going into decline is consequential for it. It’s even more horrifying to think that not only will many US states get destroyed, but also that Russia will finally get back Alaska. Alaska was originally Russian territory but given America kind of messed up really bad, that this state will given back to Russia in years. Celestial also said that the entire United States will be made into an extension of Russia proper, the more to humiliate Mystery Babylon with by given it over to its old-time Cold War rival. How much more humilitating if God gives the Philippines and South Korea to both China and North Korea for their own sins, America’s trusted allies in East Asia that will be permanently given over to their enemies.

Same goes for Japan and extra because it repeatedly rejects God a lot, so it will be permanently given over to China just the same. America might lose Hawaii to China in a way, so it will get 48 states from then on. All the more to erase most American influence with as most of it’s corrupting, it’s no good and it has to be revoked, replaced and discarded. This does lead to a kind of existentialist curiosity for me regarding the cultures it has influenced, that substitutes would have to take America’s place, however awkward it may be from the start (which is how I feel about missing sermons, it’s also really traumatising if it’s done repeatedly). It might even be more sensible to embrace realpolitik, even moreso given the implications that America truly is Mystery Babylon and worse than Rome, that perhaps God-given substitues aren’t so bad after all.

Or that China and Russia are very much his tools of indignation against America, alongside both North Korea and Iran, that America will truly be ruined by its worst enemies and so will its allies too. Much of Europe and perhaps part of North America will be permanently given over to Russia, countries like the Philippines, South Korea and Japan will be permanently given over to China due to their own sins and wickedness, America will be utterly alone and totally denuded of its allies that it is bound for destruction. It’s even more telling that both China and Iran are also very ancient nation-states at that, far older than America will ever be and will continue to stand in the future, given their growing Christian populations. Mind you China does have a lot of Christians enough to have this many online lectionaries and devotionals for them to read really (it’s for real), though it does have problems, it’s also not that anti-Christian either.

America, meanwhile, proclaims itself to be Christian but does so much to the contrary that the appellation’s no use. I remember preachers saying that it’s no use for the Philippines to call itself Christian when it does a lot to the contrary, God will in fact undo this reputation in a way by not only permanently giving it over to China but also nearly undoing almost all western influence here. Spanish will become extinct here, Filipinos will no longer be bilingual in English and Tagalog. Rather they’ll be bilingual in Mandarin and Tagalog from then on, their culture will be deeply and permanently Sinicised as well as by the rest of its neighbours that it will become like any other East Asian country in most regards. The Chinese sword will never leave the Philippine house, for they will be one and the same entity from then on. Because the Philippines sympathises a lot with Babylon, that it too will be punished for loving what he hates.

This will be no more because there’s really no point in the Philippines calling itself a Christian country when it does so much to the contrary that it will become like any other East Asian country in most regards and ways from then on, not that Christianity will entirely disappear here but given there’s really not a lot of practising Philippine Christians who do good by God that the Philippines will truly be given over to itself and idols in particular. How abhorrent for a country like the Philippines to call itself Christian but also constantly blaspheming his name (susmaryosep, Diyos ko) and being so shameless in promoting idols (in both senses of the word) when it comes to P-Pop (derivative of K-Pop, also bad and offensive to God when it’s coming from another East Asian country with a lot of Christians), that one day the Philippines will have a lot of Buddhists, Daoists and Confucianists.

Or that its culture will be more heavily and evidently influenced by the latter two in the future, because there’s really no point in the Philippines calling itself Christian yet barely consistently practising what it preaches, that it would really have to drop nearly all pretenses of being a Christian nation and arguably own this fact eventually. So America was a really bad influence on the Philippines in hindsight, not just when it comes to condoning pornography despite both countries’ Christian reputations, but also if America popularises such evil that the Philippines will faithfully follow suit, that ultimately they never were honest about their Christianities to begin with. America calls itself a Christian nation but encourages such idolatry (historically called celebrity worship syndrome, I’ve had that before), not just when it comes to sports but also and most especially showbiz, that it will drop this pretense and will embrace its authentic self–an anti-Christian culture at that.

Following this logic that the Philippines will also eventually drop all pretenses of being a Christian country by becomng more openly and heavily influenced by both Confucianism and Daoism, owning up to the fact that it doesn’t practise what it preaches and its version of authenticity would involve becoming like any other East Asian country in most ways. No point in seeing yourself as exceptionally Christian when you’re actually below this, perhaps more shockingly way below this to boot. America’s most authentic self is that of a deeply anti-Christian country because it popularises such evil, if not outright originating it itself, that it truly houses so much abominations and filth. So it will be destroyed by its enemies and God himself, that even if it were possible for America to be somewhat recognisable in the future, that will be all there is to it. American culture really has this Jekyll and Hyde character, alternating between piety and reprobation that it’s sickening.

It’s kind of horrifying to think why America persisted as a nation-state for more than a century, despite getting much worse by the minute, that it would feel like a reprieve when it does get removed at all. Nearly destroyed and forgotten to time even, much like the way Babylon (its spiritual predecessor), that it’s shocking to even jog one’s memory to know that a country like America existed. Its parent Britain, which is like the present day Sumer, will also be snuffed out but by dissolved into three separate countries again in years as Northern Ireland will reunite with Ireland, that ultimately we get a kind of return to the past for them. Maybe not quite an outright return but that the United Kingdom as a geopolitical entity will ease to exist, even when the British Isles remain for long geologically and physiogeographically speaking.

But the 2020s will be a decade when these things will be undone, maybe not in the way one would assume it to be, but where what we thought were stable will unravel in many ways more than one. American influence will be the biggest to unravel as it’s corrupting to the core, but British influence will also be revoked to an extent, because Britain is also wicked so it’s practically like father, like son then. Shame on you all, so said the Lord. The one situation where portions of the former British empire will reunite is when these newly independent countries plus a unified Ireland will join Russia out of fear of being bombed, that is on the condition of becoming part of the renewed Russian empire. Russia fancies itself as a third Rome, so if all roads lead to Rome then they also lead to Russia when it comes to the western world.

So this makes America a third Sumer in this regard, which makes sense that Sumer was also really corrupting to God’s people that it got forgotten over time until sometime in the 19th century. And it’s telling nothing’s new under the Sun, so America is a retread of Babylon and it will be destroyed by Persia/Iran just the same. America is the headquarter of Satan on Earth, that it’s been alleged the White House resembles the Satanic pentagram. So it is Hell on Earth, if Hell was given a geographical form at all, and it is Hell on Earth whenever evil gets popularised there. America has lived long enough to become the villain, only to be brought down in the future never to return again. Considering that both Iran and China house very old civilisations still running to this day, that it practically amounts to two pensioners disciplining a very bratty child (America), no wonder why they’re God’s tools of indignation against America.

And even then America has transgressed so much that it’s kind of shocking why it persisted for as much as it did, even more shocking that other countries like the Philippines continue to defend it, that it’s about time to really hate what God hates. If it means embracing realpolitik, then he will allow it as it’s in his will really. We might even experience the total loss of America as we know it, but he’ll allow it to happen as America has transgressed so much, he will put it down for good.

Return To Me

I feel like God is telling that due to the sins of certain East Asian nations like Japan, South Korea and the Philippines that all three of them will forcibly come under China, Japan for repeatedly rejecting God and both the Philippines and South Korea for deliberately indulging in lust, blasphemy and idolatry, that it’s practially God using evil to deal with evil. The latter two even have substantial Christian populations, which is even more disturbing why do they choose to do these to begin with. It’s also a kind of return to form for China as it used to influence much of East Asia to varying degrees in the past, that if God can give back more than one lost then it’s very much the case with China.

China actually has a growing population and since it’s sympathetic to Africa and Africa returns this in kind, so this is in line with what God’s giving to it in a way. The next logical step to this restoration is to actually influence East Asia again and although it already is to a degree, getting these three under its umbrella is a logical progression. Mind you both Japan and Korea were this heavily influenced by China, which was more evident in the past especially with Korea having used Chinese characters before switching over to Hangul. All three countries use a name order where the family name comes before the personal name, use chopsticks and eat similar foods together, so on and so forth pointing out to China’s status as a superpower before, and it’s getting restored as of late.

A more shocking development is when God’s set to wipe out nearly all American influence permanently in countries like South Korea, Japan and the Philippines, mostly due to America being such a corrupting country and it being Mystery Babylon, as to warrant its downfall anytime soon in the future. God might even make North Korea reunite with South Korea along with China in a way, as the former two used to be one and the same country together. They’re only divided on ideological lines, as South Korea was created to contain the spread of socialism onto the rest of the Korean peninsula. If God allows China to defeat America, then he’ll allow China to get its allies as comeuppances for their own sins. God will even make China make North Korea reunite with South Korea, get both Japan and the Philippines under its thumb to spite America and so on.

This results in the emergence of something similar to both the Soviet Union and European Union known as Greater China, as it will include all the East Asian countries together with China at the centre. The following countries are China itself, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos with Mongolia remaining neutral to avoid fights between China and Russia, though Mongolia might willingly join the former in some way. Also many of them are more densely populated than their western counterparts are, so what they lack in something, they’ll make it up for something else by having lots of people around instead. The GC satellites are mostly in Africa, South Asia and the Pacific, though South Asia might be more analogous to Yugoslavia.

But in the sense of having a third way between Russia and China, eventually getting joined by West Asia in a way. Even then geopolitical alliances are shifting in ways that would’ve been unthinkable before, and there’s a chance the Philippines might actually become more sympathetic to China should America stumble real badly. Something like both a natural disaster (in the form of an earthquake), a failing economy and a forthcoming civil war not seen in years, all working in tandem with one another to undermine the United States’s standing as a superpower. Even more shocking is that a good number of Americans know that their country’s really in decline, so this might explain the profoundly nostalgic feel in contemporary US culture.

Whether if it’s US bands reliving their pasts, or continuing past media brands, it feels this way. Even if America were to remain in any way, it would be very different that at worst it might become everything it hates about other countries (the whole speck in your eye thing in the Bible), at best it would have to accept becoming a lesser power and at most, a middle power in the future. The best case scenario is when America does remain in some way, but as a middle power this time around. The worst case scenario is when it gets revoked from the planet in some way, after experiencing a highly catastrophic economic collapse and coming under both Russian and Chinese rule. But the worst case scenario’s far likelier to happen due to the nature of Biblical prophecy, that America might get revoked forever in the future.

In the aftermath of losing America, there will be two superpowers reigning on the planet. There will be an East Asian analogue to both the Soviet Union of yore and the European Union of present, one called Greater China and consisting of all the countries in East Asia (both Northeast and Southeast). The Philippines will be a very different country from now, one more highly influenced by and allied with China both culturally and ideologically. If because American influence has been largely wiped out for good here from then on in the future, admittedly I feel the Philippines is too westernised for its own good so this is God’s way of answering this prayer.

But in a way where Filipinos (including myself) might no longer use English often anymore, especially when talking to fellow Filipinos in the future, that this is where my Tagalog skills might improve this time. Albeit in a way I never expected, but I’ve been listening to sermons in Tagalog more often so this might be helping things. A very different world from then on.

Fandom and Consumerism

It’s not wrong to support bands and musicians financially and economically, but I feel it’s not always feasible for those who literally can’t afford to do other things to show their fandom for someone or something. Maybe that’s me speaking from my experience being unemployed and then underemployed, given I have something of a job from selling clothes but I’m also at the mercy of somebody else’s budget and time when it comes to buying materials needed to making something or anything to sell to somebody or anybody. There are likely some Taylor Swift and K-Pop fans who feel the same way too, wanting to support their favourite musicians but are unable to afford other things and/or spend their fannish budget on more important things like supporting family members and close friends, anybody they personally know.

There is a way to show one’s fandom for any musician or band without breaking the bank much, one can stream their favourite songs and albums for free on platforms like Spotify. One can livestream concerts on social media websites like Tiktok and Youtube, one can read free articles on available fansites and fan communities, and even mirror entire archived fansites. I’ve done this one many times over when it comes to my other favourite bands like Ace of Base and Massive Attack, one can even find pirated materials online if they’re willing to go the extra mile (I’ve done this many times too and likely some K-Pop and Taylor Swift fans too). Surely it does pose problems just the same like idolatry* and stuff, but I feel the way K-Pop agencies treat fannish love is painfully predatory.

It’s as if it’s not enough for K-Pop musicians to interact with their fans online, it’s not enough for K-Pop fans to merely stream music and read available materials about their favourite musicians and bands, it’s not even enough for K-Pop fans to just buy albums even when others can’t afford to get limited edition materials about their favourite celebrities that it’s actually rather cruel. I even think it’s cruel of K-Pop agencies to constantly exploit fans’ devotion to celebrities to such a disgusting extent that we have saesang stalkers to begin with, it’s cruel of K-Pop agencies to make fans buy things related to their favourite bands and musicians even when they literally can’t afford these materials themselves. No doubt it plays into the graven images made out of stone and wood thing.

But it’s also bad for their budget, especially if K-Pop fans might find themselves in a situation where supporting such musicians is financially insensible, to the point where not supporting them is the only way they can manage their budgets better the next time around. If some K-Pop fans can’t afford to attend concerts, yet there’s the risk it would interfere with other things like attending church and helping around family members and close friends alike, then quitting K-Pop fandom’s the only way they can do this to be not only closer to God, but also truly available for those who actually know them best. Nakita even said that K-Pop is ungodly and very worldly, that no sooner or later some K-Pop agencies will go into administration. Especially JYP Entertainment this year.

Made worse by that its founder moonlights as a pastor, yet enables idolatry of his bands that he deliberately makes others stumble, as to warrant getting judged by God (I did this before and got into trouble just the same). Actually this isn’t even unique to him, even if other founders of K-Pop agencies are secular from the get-go, made worse by that South Korea has one of the largest Christian populations in East Asia, next to the Philippines, Indonesia, China and Vietnam (yes, Christians exist in the latter three enough to justify the existence of such websites like these). What does this tell you about the state of South Korea where it’s both a Christian nation and also prone to idolatry? It’s kind of double-minded as to be uncertain whether to actually go back to God, or get worse over time that it’s kind of depressing.

It’s even more depressing by that at any point where the South Korean government would’ve helped local ministries translate lectionaries and devotionals into languages other people may want to understand, or even get Korean publishers to have their Christian books licenced overseas and then translated into other languages, this never came to pass. Maybe not yet but if delayed obedience is still disobedience, then it’s on South Korea why it never took advantage of these to reach out to unsaved people in other places and even somewhere in China, as China’s got a growing Christian population at this point. Let alone Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei, Timor Leste, Bangladesh, wherever there are both rising Christian populations and a need to evangelise the locals there.

It’s kind of painful seeing fans being made to buy things they can’t always afford to, as if K-Pop agencies are really merciless in their quest for more money, regardless if fans themselves can’t afford to buy all those other merchandise and may even spend it on something else altogether.

*I struggle with idolatry from time to time.

It’s gonna happen

Somebody else has a prophecy of America getting halved into two, albeit horizontally and with an incoming meteorite strike to boot (isn’t that a reference to something in Revelation where Mystery Babylon gets hit by a millstone?). Given that America has often been compared to Mystery Babylon, albeit not in polite company, maybe getting hit by an asteroid kind of lines up with that Biblical passage of Babylon II getting hit by a millstone. It’s even more shocking to think that this natural disaster’s much sooner than expected, one that might succeed in killing a lot more Americans than one realises. That other countries will do onto it what it did to others is a disturbing comeuppance, but one that others suspect that America may have been up to no good at all.

Always causing wars where there’s no need for those, destroying the lives of innocent bystanders. Ruining entire cultures even, though this is going to be controversial. As for South Korea, it should be noted that for the longest period of time, it was one and the same country as North Korea. They’re divided by ideology and politics, even when they’re actually one nation together. South Korea was created to contain the spread of socialism onto the rest of the Korean peninsula, to the extent that it could essentially be a US colony but not in polite company. There’s a book called ‘How To Hide An Empire’ which is about America keeping its colonial empire a secret or something, as to appear as a proper republic. When in reality it’s really anything but a republic, because it effectively and practically acts like an empire.

It has colonies in the Asia Pacific, colonies that were taken from other empires. South Korea should ought to be included because it was created to keep socialism from spreading throughout the Korean peninsula, otherwise the entire Korea itself would’ve ended up more like either Vietnam, China or Laos really. It’s really telling that America created South Vietnam to do the same thing, only it didn’t last for long and all of Vietnam became socialist instead. South Korea is practically so dependent on America for its ideological and economic existence that it should ought to be seen as an American colony just the same, but given the prophecies of it reuniting with North Korea, that its days as a US colony might be over this time around. Another Vietnam really and one that America may’ve dreaded the most.

America might even lose both South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines to China forever, but I feel if America is Mystery Babylon then China should be seen as a tool of indignation. Not just against the US but also the sins of its neighbours just the same, the Philippines and South Korea for falling into sin despite being Christian countries, Japan for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and so on. This leads to its own version of either the Soviet Union or the European Union, though in reality it would be in the middle in a way, thus forming Greater China together all in all. Taiwan would become another Hong Kong, whereas the Philippines becomes a near-facsimile of China as to undo much American influence here. Given China used to influence much of East Asia before, this is a sign that God’s giving it back greater than it did before.

Albeit where the African and Oceanian countries form a new Eastern Bloc, thus leading to a global east given there’s already a global west composed of both Europe and the Americas. The global east would involve both East Asia and much of Africa (north to south), as lead by China against America and eventually Russia over Mongolia. Countries like India, Iran and Turkey would be neutral superpowers at this point, not wanting to take sides between Russia and China. Even then this is a changed world where America’s been made irrelevant, redundant and be tossed aside altogether, to be gone forever and this is a word from the Lord. In the interval America will get physiogeographically destroyed, just as it’s on its way to witnessing more civil unrest in the months and years to come.

The things that make America a superpower will be revoked due to its sins, that ultimately these will be undone and its own allies like the Philippines will be made into near-facsimiles of its enemies. Canada will be no different from the Philippines, only replace China with Russia and whilst Canada may arguably not be a near-facsimile of Russia, it will be Russified over time the more it becomes either a colony or commonwealth or protectorate of Russia. But American influence will be further lost there when Canada does come under Russian occupation and jurisdiction in some way, where America will ultimately be forgotten in the future, or remembered as a footnote in everybody’s book.

When you’re gone

There are actually a lot of prophecies about America being not only Mystery Babylon, but also getting destroyed by both natural disasters and its own enemies, as a comeuppance for its own sins that it’s clearly declining at this point. It would be pretty terrifying if some meteorite were to land in and wreck Puerto Rico, before wrecking the American South to a devastating extent if it weren’t for the possible flooding that goes with it. Oddly enough I have had dreams of the Backstreet Boys singing whilst there’s an incoming flood or something, so it might relate to the band performing at a very inopportune time. But then again the band’s not without its own faults, most notably with one member being charged with rape accusations over time, and another having cheated on his wife with his fans as his mistresses that it seems they’re up to no good.

One time when I was thinking about their arrogance, a radio preacher insinuated that people like them are wicked. Or at least secretly up to no good, despite appearances to the contrary. That it’s kind of hard taking them seriously as anti-misogynists when a good number of them treat their fans as playthings, whilst dismissing their own victims (who’re often female), that it seems women to them are a mere convenience to both their careers and egos, that it would be shocking if a few more members like Nick Carter were to be outed with not only abuse and rape, but also with cheating on his wife with another woman just the same. Said woman’s a fan whom he groomed to be his mistress, which makes their habit of interacting with fans look worse, because it’s like they really don’t see them as people. But as playthings to advance their egos and careers.

Whilst it’s true bands like My Chemical Romance aren’t any better with their own biases at hand, but when it comes to the Backstreet Boys fostering strong relationships with their fans that the potential to abuse them is far greater, than when it comes to bands with more remote relationships with their own. Not to mention with America being Mystery Babylon that makes it likelier to popularise musicians who turn out to have rather dubious morals, even if it’s not unique to it either as others like Australia and Britain have those too. Taylor Swift is an interesting example of somebody who turned out to have dubious morals over the years, if because she started out as rather clean and wholesome. But for some reason it turned out to be harder to maintain over time, the more she turned out to dump one guy after another.

Unsurprisingly in hindsight, she also turned out to be quite potty-mouthed in some of her more recent songs, as if the wholesome girl next door image is really hard to keep up with herself. It’s kind of weird to think that Taylor Swift started out as a wholesome alternative to the racier musicians in her day like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, but ultimately turned out no differently from them to a degree. This makes for a weirdly Kafkasque transformation in hindsight because it’s likely that it’s something she herself never set out to do early on in her career, but eventually succumbed over time that it’s now wrecking her. If sin turns out to be a trap, as it is with me before, then it’s not a surprise why she turned out this way. Or for another matter, America as a collective whole when it comes to its people. It’s true that God will save a remnant, though it’s matter of time before America gets worse than it already is.

Another shocking development is when its own enemies humble it even further, if because America’s such a proud nation, that pride will lead to a fall. They will even do the same to its allies, for being just as drunk as the United States is. Because of both the Philippines and South Korea falling into such reprobation, being so deadened to sin as to warrant getting captured by China. The same way Judah fell to Babylon, this will happen to these two. China will even allow North Korea to reunite with South Korea, whether if the latter likes it or not whereas nearly all American influence will be permanently revoked in the Philippines, for it has drunk from Babylon II’s wine a lot that sorrow will come to it. Its economy will crash and to be replaced by a socialist one forever, the Philippines will become poor again and poorer than Nigeria by then. The Philippines will have no other choice but to ally with China willingly when America falls.

Japan will also fall to China but due to its constant blaspheming of the Holy Spirit that if a nation continually rejects the Lord, consequences will happen and China will get it anyways if it continues to reject him. Japan has been a missionary’s graveyard for so long that its problems continue in ways it never intends to and wishes to banish but on its own strength, which will fail inevitably, I even heard this is a church sermon before and it’s unfortunate why its own problems continue unabated, despite attempts to quell them early on. But this is also the same reason why Japan will be given over to China, not to mention God is giving China back greater than it did before. Not just by influencing Africa, but also getting back the countries it used to influence before. Even the Philippines and Japan will be included, not to mention China has a rising Christian population.

Or at least something more substantial than it did ages before, even with all the crackdowns God will save his people there. To the point where you can easily access to Christian Chinese websites like these really, if persecution brings blessings then it will be so for Chinese Christians. China will be judged for persecuting Christians but even then if more Chinese were to get saved, it will be softened and it will experience nationwide repentance when this happens. Christianity will truly explode there from then on, whereas it will go on a permanent decline in America given its role as Mystery Babylon. America will be no more and it will no longer be found or made largely recognisable from its current form at least, gone forever and never to be seen or heard from us again. American music will no longer play on Philippine radio stations, so on with other US media that the loss is mostly permanent.

What remains are computing and Internet technologies, advancements in astronomy and Christianity when it comes to a number of Protestant and Catholic churches alike in the world, America will be gone forever in most regards really.

We Built This City

There’s something salient about a number of prophets calling America Mystery Babylon, given how recurring prophecies of America getting judged harshly for what it has done over a sustained period of time, when combined with having one of the western world’s largest practising Christian population and superpower status, make for a rather embarassing and shameful status. It makes more sense to think of America as Mystery Babylon than Iraq when brushed with the same, given it’s America that’s the reigning superpower of our day combined with things I said before, make its status kind of shameful. If America were to get revoked for its evils and wrongdoings, then it’s an example for other countries not to follow, something to unlearn from.

America as a superpower succeeded in popularising and refining things that their originators didn’t get around to, whether if it’s cartooning having its origins in Europe or forms of adultery anywhere else. Whilst it’s true that countries like China and Turkey were kind of ahead of America when it comes to sanctioning forms of consensual nonmonogamy, but it’s America that’s ahead of these two when it comes to popularising the same when it comes to its outsized influence on its closest allies in both the Atlantic and Pacific. We Filipinos wouldn’t consider such forms of adultery/infidelity (ahem, consensual nonmonogamy) fashionable unless if America popularises them, but this means the Philippines’s relationship with America all the more questionable.

At any point when the Philippines would’ve eagerly evangelised to its closest neighbours and even China, we’d rather be of Babylon instead. Whilst Europe is technically more secular than the United States is, but the difference is that Europe is a region of backsliders as it was polytheistic before. America, as we know it, had a discernable Christian past as a refuge for Protestant colonists avoiding perseution, unfortunately it didn’t turn out as expected over the years the more it accomodated the religiously unthinkable. While these two would be given over to Russia together, the difference is that all the European countries will fare better as commonwealths and protectorates. Possibly the same goes for Canada, since I prayed to God to help some Canadians cope with it joining Russia in some manner.

America would be worse off by being an extension of Russia proper, imagine becoming a vassal state of your worst enemy since the Cold War years. There are some people who say that it’s America that deliberately crippled the Soviet economy, so it’s payback time for Russia to return the disfavour to it. Russia will get recompensed by taking over the position America held for the rest of the west, but that would be a return to form in a way as Russia sees itself as a third Rome. As Babylon itself was a second Sumer (being heavily influenced by Sumer), making America a third Sumer if there ever is one at all. There are some Biblical passages that hint at the emergence of another Babylon, but further west since both Cush and Egypt are located in Africa.

Yet other African empires like those of the Ashanti Empire and the Hausa Empire never became far-reaching global empires, thus leaving this new Babylon somewhere in the western hemisphere. Then again Canada, Brazil, Jamaica and Mexico never became serious superpowers, so we’re ultimately left with America as the new Babylon instead. Which makes its ability to influence others for the worst all the more potent, given it succeeds in popularising things that lower people’s inhibitions. Sort of like pornography, pornographic films and publications existed before in Europe and the like, but it’s America that succeeded in commercialising these two. It’s even the country that originated well-known porn magazines like Playboy and Penthouse, despite having a substantial Christian population. Truly a double-minded country on the verge of civil instability.

Even if America were to persist in the future, it would be made highly unrecognisable by then. Not just geopolitically but physiogeographically as well, being surrounded by many sinkholes, substantial areas sunken for good and cities getting deserted over time due to radiation. America’s influence around the world is already getting undone to some extent, but it would be frightening if it were largely and permanently undone in the Philippines. But that would mean its influence here is largely bad, whatever that means, it’s no good and the Philippines is better off without it. Unfortunately as it gives into Babylon a lot, it will be permanently given over to China instead alongside both South Korea (the same) and Japan (blasphemy against God the Holy Spirit).

Given China used to influence much of East Asia to varying degrees, this would be a return to form in a way as well. There will be a Greater China composed of China itself, Taiwan, South Korea joint together with North Korea (as they were one nation before), Japan, Malaysia, Brunei, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia (after it goes to war with Russia over it) and Singapore, with satellite states throughout Africa and Oceania. All the Oceanian islands as well as both Australia and New Zealand will be made into Chinese satellite states as with much of sub-saharan Africa, thus forming a global East to counter the global west (Russia, Europe and Canada, plus Latin America and West Asia).

A new world order where America’s out of the picture for good, where there will be a new bipolar order consisting of Russia and China with India and Brazil being neutral. Maybe more like a new multipolar order consisting of these four, perhaps five if you include South Africa but it’s still going to be a future without America. It would still turn out badly if one area in Greater Russia starts housing the Antichrist, but it’s going to be a world where America no longer exists, or if it still exists it will be greatly reduced in power and influence by then. But to the point of being practically irrelevant to everybody else.

Nothing

Somebody said that economic collapse in America is really underway and the American government has been lying about what’s really going on there, how both China and Russia will take over America and then eventually Russia will have sole ownership over Anglophone America, but most especially America as Canada might get off better as a Russian protectorate instead. There’s a Bible verse about the unrepentant being over to their enemies as a consequence of their sins, so this is what both America and their allies will be getting. The Philippines will also be given over to China due to its own sins, that the sinicisation of the Philippines will be permanent. The Chinese sword will never depart from the Philippine home, for the Philippines has given itself over to its own depravity. So it reaps what it sows.

Both America and its allies are under judgement for their sins, their apostasies and blasphemies that they’ll be given over to their enemies for long. Europe and North America will be given over to Russia, whilst the apostate countries of South Korea, Japan and the Philippines will be given over to China. Because Japan repeatedly rejects the Lord for centuries that not only will it undergo a real economic collapse, its own anime, comics and gaming industry will collapse as well, then it will be given over to China the way the Lord will do to both South Korea and the Philippines. The Philippines has been judged fo its idolatry, blasphemy (susmaryosep, diyos ko, ay sus), fornication (porn, masturbation, adultery whether if it includes polyamory, homosexuality) and so on.

South Korea’s judged for promoting idolatry and other sins that it will be given over to China by North Korea, which will succeed in reuniting with the south in more than a decade. America will permanently lose both South Korea, Japan and the Philippines to China, but in hindsight this is a return to form in a way because China did greatly influence East Asia before. It should be noted that both Korea and Vietnam used Chinese characters before for a long while, the Philippines did trade a fair bit with China and similar things can be said of Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. There will be the formation of a Greater China region consisting of China and Taiwan together as China proper, then followed by countries from both the Sinosphere and Indosphere, including the Philippines.

This will be a kind of Asia-Pacific analogue to the European Union but with Greater China as its core component much like how Russia and the ilk are the core of the Soviet Union, the new Eastren Bloc (the Chinese Bloc) will consist of countries from both Africa and the Pacific (including Australia and New Zealand). The new Russian Union, if it can be called as such, consists of not only all members of the European Eastern Bloc and Soviet Union, but also members from NATO and the European Union like Britain, Turkey, Canada, France, Ireland, maybe Iran and others. America will be included in a way but as an extension of Russia proper, a painful irony for a country that was at loggerheads with the latter during the Cold War. This would be far more meaningful to those who were around at its peak and start.

To those who were alive in those years, America battled a lot with Russia. Not just fighting proxy wars over one another, but also combating it each other through propaganda. American media brainwashed people into being scared of communism, Russian media warned people about the ills of US-style consumerism. But the thing with America is that it’s a deeply consumerist society, even if not all of its people are avid consumers. There are likely some Americans who do pirate, but if consumerism were part of the American way of life, then you have to literally buy into something to get a slice of American culture and sensibility. To be American is to buy not only the necessities, but also the things that make you you. Like you must prove your loyalty to the Disney company by not only consuming its media.

But also its attendant merchandising to prove your worth and proof as one, you could replace Disney with Lucasfilm or Marvel and it would essentially be the same thing. Piracy may enable you to be judge the media for itself in an unconventionally affordable way, but US style consumerism has you consume more of that stuff to prove your loyalty to the brand and company. This would be ultimately undone when a US economic collapse happens, but the Bible tells us that we shouldn’t store earthly wealth as it’ll be gone. A hard pill to swallow but it seems like American culture seems to chase planned obsolescence more than eternity, not that there’s anything wrong with being up to date with the times and stuff. But as it is stands, America is a consumerist society and its love of wealth will be undone when its economy crashes real badly.

Perhaps America truly is Mystery Babylon in a way no other country qualifies to the same extent, America may seem to have the coolest merchandise around. But inwardly it’s really hollow and some may say vapid, which is kind of telling as America doesn’t have this much celebrity philosophers the way both Slovenia and especially France do. What America has in spades are celebrity musicians and actors instead, people who exist to entertain and amuse the public. That’s not to say both Slovenia and France lack celebrity entertainers in any capacity, though I feel a love of philosophy’s more deeply ingrained in their cultures than in America. But it’s not hard to see how and why American culture feels hollow, for the same reason it risks feeling too decadent for its own good.

If American culture is as immoral as it’s unsubstantial, then you could compile a list of reasons to hate the United States, which I suspect some countries may already have. But pride goes before the fall, then America will certainly fall from grace. Not only that but America will no longer be a superpower in the future, having fallen victim to its enemies and it will never be seen on Earth again.

Subset Of A Greater Nation

Regarding the prophecy of God removing America from Earth, Celestial said that some countries that strive to secede from their siblings are really a subset of the same nation. This is true for places like what Slovakia is to the Czech republic, Taiwan to China (as these were part of the same country before, same with North and South Korea) or for another matter, what both Bangladesh and Pakistan are to India. My father said that both Russia and Ukraine were part of the same country before, as Russian culture as we know it originated in Kyiv (hence Kievan Rus). Both Bangladesh and Pakistan were part of India proper to the extent that the latter actually uses the same language as India does, but with a different vocabulary that owes more to Iran and the Arab nations.

Similar things can be said of both Indonesia and Malaysia as they both have the same language and many of the same things, but with different colonial masters as Indonesia was given over to the Netherlands and Malaysia to Britain. Likewise Singapore was part of Malaysia for a time being, doncha know? But with America getting removed from the planet, there are people who say that it is Mystery Babylon. For those who don’t know, Mystery Babylon is a prophesised country said to corrupt the entire world with its filth and abominations. It sits on many waters and was once the golden cup of God, having maddened the nations that drunk its wine. It will be eventually removed from this planet in the future, mainly for its abominations and filth it popularised and inculcated onto Earth.

Even if some American influence remains, that will be all there is to it in the future. The post-American future would still have its fair share of unrepentant sinners, since we’re living in the end times but that America being Mystery Babylon is already in the present. Its removal would come sooner than expected, but it’s still a way from here and still in the future. The future would still have unrepentant sinners, but it’s also a time where much American influence has already been minimised. To the point of being practically unrecognisable from now really.
