The Land Down Under

Somebody said that Australia will be judged for sins like LGBT and the like that not only will it be physically destroyed, but also get subjugated by China which Celestial said that it has to do with its backsliding. I think what the Philippines will be getting is no different for the same reasons, since it too will be conquered by China but because it has sided with Mystery Babylon (AKA America) for too long and too often. No sooner or later, it will reap what it sows. No sooner or later, it will get incorporated into China or at least a China-operated union with other countries in East Asia.

I’m probably one of the few, if any, people who’s stating these judgements about the Philippines because it’s something Filipinos need to listen to. We’re in danger of backsliding like the European countries, because we’re too in love with certain sins like LGBT that any time soon we’ll legalise gay marriage in a matter of months and weeks. Right before getting subjugated by China as to retaliate against America, but if God can use evil for good then becoming part of China in some way would be a way to draw the Philippines back to him and repent. He could also use heavy sinicisation as a way to purge Americanisation here because America’s no good.

Because America is Mystery Babylon that it’s everything no Christian nation should admire and emulate, since it’s on a long and winding road to darkness that its existence is more of a warning of what a Christian nation would end up if it forsakes God. The Philippines is in grave danger of forsaking the Lord whenever it indulges in LGBT matters, it not only legalised divorce but you have people clamouring for the government to legalise gay marriage and the like. We have had a porn industry, we emulate America’s baser tendencies and so on. This is unbecoming of a majority Christian nation like the Philippines that having China conquer us is God’s way of disciplining this nation.

If God can judge Australia for its sins and subject it to Chinese domination, he’ll do the same thing to the Philippines for what it has done too. God is one judge we should take heed of, given he knows fairness better though not in a way we appreciate. It would be fairer for the Philippines to be chastised for its love of LGBT and other sins, than it would for Indonesia because it’s a nation that received God en masse fairly early on. But because it always does things to the contrary that he’s going to take us away from America and put us under Chinese jurisdiction instead, China will win and we will lose. But this is the fair way for what we wrought onto ourselves.

Because Filipinos choose to sin or condone sins like LGBT that it will be our undoing that we got to be under Chinese occupation instead, sort of like how God used Babylonian captivity to deal with Judah’s sins. It’s not a nice thing for me to realise and admit, but it’s something Filipinos need to listen to. The fact that we ally ourselves with Mystery Babylon means he will undo any trace of American influence and replace it with heavy sinicisation as a way to discipline us!

Where Do The Children Play?

Celestial had a prophecy concerning the uptick in human trafficking in America, it may have already passed but worse things are yet to come. Not only that but Mexican and Philippine children are frequently trafficked into America, the latter is even a former US colony which makes Philippine-US relations look terrible. This even makes the comparison to ancient Babylon all the more apt because Babylon turned Judah into a client state, but this same empire is everything no child of God should ever participate in whatsoever. The Philippines shouldn’t even be following America a lot, since this is a nation that traffics its children into pornography. This will be the Philippines’ fault for following America a lot that our economy will crash eventually.

This is God’s punishment for what the Philippines wrought onto itself for following Mystery Babylon, the very same nation that it shouldn’t ally itself with any longer. The Philippines will undergo serious upheavals between pro-America and pro-China factions, economic decline and more political problems than if it stopped following America for good, this is what the Philippines will reap from following Mystery Babylon a lot more than it should. Not only that but the pro-China faction will grow much stronger, bigger and more powerful to have the Philippines ally more with America’s enemies this time, something that Filipinos would have to realise who should they be fighting for and allying with this time. I even think the Philippines is better off converting China to Christianity, than following America’s spiritual decline.

Why? America is everything a Christian nation shouldn’t be and shouldn’t become, it’s become the antithesis of what it was founded as. It is Mystery Babylon in a way other countries aren’t, even if they come close but let’s face it America fits it best. It is the nation that sits on many waters (the Pacific and Atlantic), has prostituted itself to worldly and ungodly ideologies and beliefs, houses unclean spirits and factions and was something of a proper hegemon and hyperpower before. Because it was a hyperpower, it had the unparalleled ability to corrupt the entire world with on its own. Not even Britain, its parent, came close to doing this. There certainly was porn in Britain before, but it’s not that historically widely distributed on the same scale America ended up doing.

Britain, for all its faults, is not the country that gave us porn rags like Playboy and Penthouse, at least early on. It only got into the porn magazine act because of America paving the way first, which means that America is not a good influence. America is a trailblazer in moral decadence and corruption, it is the nation that gave us regrettable stuff like Playboy and Hollywood. America is more of a warning to what Christian majority nations shouldn’t be doing, to the point where it’s really going to be wiped off the map in the future. It’s never going to return to power, it will fall further down to the point of becoming a colony again. This time a Russian colony, whether if Americans like it or not.

How to read Donald Duck as a Filipino

How To Read Donald Duck is a brilliant book about the Walt Disney Company’s role in aiding and assisting US imperialism, though it specifically addresses it in a Latin American context it’s applicable to the Philippines. I personally feel the Philippines is far too westernised for its own good, which I think keeps us further apart from our eastern neighbours save for a select few. It seems the only eastern country we’re most sympathetic to is South Korea, not that there’s anything wrong with liking it but most Filipinos (from my experience) are cold or indifferent to other eastern countries.

Sometimes with nasty preconceptions like what both India and China get, I think it’s a bad idea because we could easily learn a lot more from them. Also they’re much closer to us than we are to America, but due to the persistent of US neocolonialism it doesn’t go as it should. I feel our habit of emulating and following America a lot is impractical because one it doesn’t suit the Philippine climate and geography, two we’re already westernised so American influence is going to be really redundant from the get-go and three, I don’t think American influence in the Philippines is mostly good. I believe the Philippines is much better off without America and with minimal American influence at least.

If I’m not mistaken, Disney and its associated brands are very popular in the Philippines. Sort of like how anything Disney is eagerly accepted by Filipinos, but anime is looked at with askance. Even if it sometimes warrants it, I don’t think American media are any better. Except that I believe the real reason why is that Filipinos are too sympathetic to anything western, especially anything American that we don’t eagerly accept Japanese influences the way we do with American ones. I don’t think it’s a good thing to be sympathetic to western powers, especially if they don’t have any real love for us. Or if it’s too much, that more eastern influence is needed to counter this.

While something like Bumilangit could satiate the need for superheroes the way Marvel would, but the problem is that at this point, more Filipinos would rather consume anything Marvel than anything Bumilangit even if America’s time as a superpower is going to be up. American decline is underway, especially with growing debt. It would be much too late to set up a Disney Store in the Philippines, especially given the precarious situation that the US economy is in that it’s not worth bringing it over here to begin with. I even think the Philippines is better off with non-American alternatives at that, even Chinese ones and that would do this country a lot of favours.

The idea that Disney assists in US imperialism is kind of telling in how it popularises things that might not be relatable to America’s former colonies like the Philippines, though it’s not the only agent around as it could also be Nickelodeon for instance. It could be something like the dichotomy between popular and unpopular kids, which seems to be more of a thing in US media than it would in the Philippines to that same extent, speaking from personal experience. Another thing just as baffling and strange is how many US fictional characters have lemonade stands. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered anything like this in the Philippines, buko stands maybe but not lemonade ones.

It’s not hard to see that the authors behind How To Read Donald Duck would’ve also felt the same way too, since conglomerates like Disney and Viacom impose American ideas and lifestyles into areas where they don’t belong because natives can’t relate to it in any way. I remember this one British Redditor who hated the Peanuts cartoons because those were too American for their taste and they can’t relate to the stories either. It seems there’s something about American culture that people elsewhere aspire to but also can’t readily relate to, since it’s something that’s fundamentally and practically foreign to them. Like I said about lemonade stands, I don’t think I’ve ever encountered one here.

Vendors selling buko juice maybe, but not lemonade, not even dalandan juice. So the worldviews and lifestyles Disney, Viacom, Warner Bros and the like promote and show, though they popularise it, it’s also something people in other countries can’t readily relate to. Even if Canada (America’s identical twin by the way) has come close, it’s never going to be as imperialistic as the latter is because it’s a middle power sandwiched between a great power like Britain and a superpower like America. Even if Disney’s not the only agent of US imperialism, it was the most prominent example in their book since Nickelodeon had yet to exist in its current form.

Cartoon Network is far away from when they first wrote that book, so Disney is going to be their go-for example. I feel something like How To Read Spider-Man would work just as well, since I believe Marvel’s also an agent of US imperialism. No wonder why it meshes so well with Disney, especially when it comes to the presence of a nationalistic hero like Captain America. Ever notice how and why so many non-American characters and even aliens come to reside in America in both DC and Marvel stories? That’s because of how superhero writers promote the American Dream, America is the place to reinvent oneself there.

America is where one can realise their best dreams and expectations, this is also why Canada’s own Lev Gleason doesn’t do it much. Even if immigrants come to Canada for similar or even the same reasons and circumstances, it’s America that’ll always be the land of opportunity. So that’s why DC and Marvel writers keep on hyping up this kind of propaganda, America will always have this allure because it’s a superpower. I believe America has this bombastic air that easily lends itself to superheroic writing and stories, the way it doesn’t and wouldn’t be often in Canada.

So America will always be the go-for North American country for critiquing imperialism with, because of what it does, spreads, promotes and popularises regardless if it doesn’t jibe well with other countries. It needn’t to be Disney to be the go-for agent of US imperialism, as it could easily be Viacom, Marvel (its eventual subsidiary and brand), Warner Bros or even Activision Blizzard.

Money For Nothing

Celestial said that not only will the American economy crash real badly, but also how poverty will really grip the United States like never before in years. There was poverty in America but this time it will not only come back, but bigger and worse than ever before, perhaps never seen in a long while. There used to be a lot of slums in America and likely still exist to some extent, but there will be more poverty there due to a declining economy. It would no longer be feasible to buy the niceties of life, so people would inevitably find ways to get something.

Including some rather illegal and unethical methods of getting those, some Americans will even cross the border to get something nice. A kind of grim irony and role reversal where for years it was Mexicans that did everything to cross the border to get something nice, but now it will be Americans’ turn to do the same should the US economy decline real badly. America has been through economic crises before, but the next one will the worst where it’ll never recover at all. The American dream will be over, everybody will be disillusioned with why American life isn’t going so well.

While there have been Americans emigrating to countries for whatever reason and circumstance, a double whammy of economic crisis and a forthcoming civil war would have more Americans moving out of that country. I have even prayed for Grant Gustin and his family to move to Italy for safety, should another US civil war happen that it would be for the better if they did. That would be preferable to becoming casualties for unfortunate ideological reasons, even if it’s something fans would’ve never expected nor wanted. Admittedly, some of it’s my desire, but the need for safety should trump fan pleasure.

There will come a time when the US dollar will no longer be valuable, it will no longer be the reserve currency of the world. America will not recover from its crash, despite its best efforts to undo this. It will become poorer over time, more and more Americans will live in poverty. They will not be able to afford the niceties of life like they did before, not to mention American banks will be closed forever. Some American companies will be gone forever, some will be bankrupt forever and some survive only by being bought by foreign corporations. America’s time in the sun will be over.

The loss of America as a superpower and what it means for ACG/geek culture

I suspect if America were to stop being a superpower at any point in time, perhaps much sooner than expected, it would have odd ramifications for other countries because no sooner or later they’ll seek any alternative to find. To give you how much of a superpower America is, much of its video games, comics and animations are globally popular and renowned. While British video games, comics and animations are also popular, they’re nowhere near the same extent their American counterparts tend to enjoy.

Maybe until now but this is to give you an idea of how much of a superpower America currently is, that much of American entertainment is globally mainstream and popular in a way Japanese entertainment isn’t is saying. At some point when America became the world’s only superpower, well sometime in the 1990s and early 2000s, it became something of a hyperpower. A singular power influencing the global stage, which would’ve further popularised American culture a lot even if British pop culture has come close.

If America does cease to be a superpower for good and if you believe certain people, may even decline in importance so drastically as to become a footnote, if nature abhors a vacuum then alternatives from anywhere else will arise. Countries will turn to their enemies and rivals more when America declines so much as a superpower, if because those supposed enemies turn out to be the ones who’ll have their backs. China’s already shaping up to be a superpower and some of its entertainment products have found international audiences.

Russia could be next if it does become a superpower again but one with the most surprising future: if you believe somebody like Celestial, not only will Russia become a superpower again it will also take over much of the western world. Many western countries will become its protectorates of sorts, mostly to avoid the fate that awaits America. America will end up as a colony in the technical sense of the word, a terrible twist of fate for a country that was at loggerheads with Russia during the Cold War. For a country that prides in its independence from Britain, it will become a colony again.

Maybe under a different country but it’s terribly ironic that it’s going to be its Cold War rival Russia this time, if Russia does become a superpower again one would wonder if its version of Winnie the Pooh will become more widely recognised and beloved the world over while Disney’s version becomes utterly forgotten to time. It would be interesting to think that a duo like Tatu would turn out to be very ahead of its time, since it used to be popular in the early 2000s. Not only that but there’s a good possibility that ACG/geek culture will get its western entertainment fix from a new Soviet Union.

A new incarnation of the Soviet Union and what could arguably be the third incarnation of the Russian Empire that includes not just France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands but also Britain, Canada and Ireland that the entertainment they’ll all produce would be Sovietish. As in attributable to the Soviet Union in some way, whatever that’s produced in say Britain and Ireland will be attributed to a new incarnation of the Soviet Union, just like how animation that got produced in Ukraine was attributable to the original Soviet Union.

Then again this could also be precisely applied to any other form of art and entertainment, any comic book or video game that gets produced in future Canada or Italy will be attributable to this new Soviet Union should these two also become Russian protectorates for long. So much so that western and Russian will become highly synonymous with one another, which is what will happen if Russia were to take over much of the western world. Not only that but Russia will fund and support future Canadian and European projects too, to the point of getting its actors into their productions.

China already did this to US productions before, Russia would be no different with British and Canadian productions. But with Russia becoming a superpower again that inevitably you’d also have Canadian and British actors working on Russian productions and co-productions one day, especially with America gone in some way that Russia will be around to have their backs. If there’s ever a North American Hollywood that will really last for ages or in the future, it would be Hollywood North (Canada’s own Hollywood). The loss of America would lead to something else for its twin.

I could imagine that the Canadian school of acting would end up becoming more heavily influenced by its Russian counterpart, if the American school of acting were to go away in the future. I suspect there’s something of a showbiz industry in Russia as it would be in America, but I get the impression that with the latter there’s a stronger emphasis on celebrity charisma over acting as an art. Not that this doesn’t exist in Russia at all, it does to an extent but not as much as it would be in America. Consequently, the Canadian school of film-making will also become more heavily influenced by its Russian counterpart.

While I don’t think film, comics and game franchises are ever going away in the west if Russia becomes a superpower the third time, but with much of the western world under its grip they will take on a different character by becoming more influenced by Russia in some way. Russia may not have that many well-known pop culture exports at this point, well that’s about to change in the future when it becomes a superpower the third time. It’s even conceivable that in order to remain relevant, western video game companies wouldn’t just be inspired by whatever Russia produces but also cater to Russia a lot.

At this point, western video game companies are influenced by American entertainment and will do anything to cater to American tastes if they’re ever going to consider international markets at all. Maybe this isn’t always nor exactly the case but you should get this by now, because America is such a superpower in recent memory that inevitably it will influence European markets and tastes a lot. If Russia becomes a superpower again, it will do the same thing to the west too. Just as America begat and popularised the superhero genre to the world, Russia will beget and popularise a new fiction school to the globe.

Whatever it may be, it could be something else altogether. It will start out as a fiction school unique to Russia that will spread to the world, just as the superhero school started out as something unique to America that has been popularised to the world to varying degrees. While there are some countries out there with a successful homegrown superhero industry and company, most notably Indonesia’s Bumilangit, there’s something about America that easily lends itself to at least two successful superhero publishers and many successful superhero franchises.

I can’t put a ring around it but I suspect it’s got to do with a history of vigilantism in America that lends itself to the way the typical superhero is written and portrayed: both take justice into their own hands regardless if it breaks the law, not even the amateur detective school of writing comes close to this. America has made such an impact on video games and the like that this is the reason why PEGI exists, if it weren’t for Mortal Kombat shocking people with gore we wouldn’t get video game age rating boards to begin with.

Similar things can be said about comics, animation and the like where if it weren’t for DC and Marvel, other countries would have never attempted at coming up with their own shared superhero universe stories. Therefore we wouldn’t get Indonesia’s Bumilangit nor Canada’s Lev Gleason if it weren’t for America’s DC and Marvel, but the loss of America would necessitate genuinely new approaches to the superhero school. New approaches to animation, comics and everything else as well that without America to anchor themselves in, they’d have to accept any alternative that either comes to them or if they deliberately seek it.

It could even happen beforehand but the loss of America as a superpower involves the loss of popularity for brands like DC, Marvel, Mortal Kombat, The Sims, Dungeons and Dragons, Overwatch and so on, nature abhors a vacuum so something else from somewhere else will take their place. This not only leads to a stronger reliance on Japanese imports and brands like the Super Mario Bros, Tekken and Resident Evil, but also a stronger reliance on imports and brands from any other country in general. Take Canada for instance.

It’s never going to be a superpower like its identical twin America is, but if somebody Canadian were to come up with a superhero sleuth mobile game it would satiate the enthusiasm and sympathy of many DC and Marvel fans. It wouldn’t exactly be like DC and Marvel, especially given its stronger emphasis on mystery, but it does have enough superhero trappings to draw in those people. If successful enough, it’ll become a long-lasting franchise. It could even spawn media adaptations like comics and the like if really successful, look no further than what both Pokemon and Super Mario Bros got.

But the loss of America would complicate matters, especially if Nintendo has a film deal with Universal, that to save face (and profits) Nintendo would have to seek a new partner to carry out film adaptations for its brands like Super Mario Bros and Pokemon. The loss of America as a superpower, as I said before, would necessitate a substitute in its place. When it comes to the loss of popularity for brands like DC and Marvel, one substitute would be Japan’s own. While Japan needn’t to be the only replacement, it would be an immediate one because it begat many beloved franchises and brands.

Things like Street Fighter and Tekken are popular enough to withstand the loss of America, popular enough to last further into the future. Similar things can be said of other games like Guilty Gear, Super Mario Bros, Pokemon, Metroid, Resident Evil and Silent Hill because Canadian, Filipino, Korean and British fans will still have their back (and backing). But it’s not just Japan that’s going to fill in big, empty shoes since China’s also shaping up to be a major superpower. It’s even the country behind things like Genshin Impact and one such company, Tencent, even owns Valorant.

They could easily stay buoyant in times of America’s economic troubles, though in order to remain relevant for long Valorant’s settings would have to be moved elsewhere if America were to disappear in the public consciousness. The loss of America as a superpower would have ramifications for its former protectorate/colony the Philippines because that would mean we would have to seek alternatives from not just those we sympathise with (Canada, Japan) but also our former enemy China. China will be the country to have our back and sympathy when America fails.

The growing easternisation of Philippine culture and thus Philippine pop culture would really take place in the wake of America’s fall, not just because I feel the Philippines is too westernised for its own good but that it will have to rely a lot more on its immediate neighbours now that America’s going away. The Philippines wouldn’t just develop stronger multilateral relations with its neighbours, but also become so strongly influenced by them that whatever sells in Japan and China will also sell here too. Not just video games and comics, but also television, music and film.

I also honestly prayed for something like those to happen, the better to further dewesternise the Philippines with. It’s something that will happen in my lifetime that with the loss of America, the Philippines will grow more reliant on its neighbours for trade and ideas. Of all the countries in the Asia-Pacific region, it’s China that will come to heavily influence this country a lot. Not just economically and politically but also socially and culturally, especially as God will undo nearly any trace of America influence here as to be forgotten over time. We’re never going to celebrate Halloween again, but rather Hungry Ghost Festival and Harvest Moon Festival instead.

We’re never going to watch American movies again, rather we’ll watch Chinese movies dubbed in Tagalog. We’ll read Chinese comics in Tagalog, we’ll play Chinese video games. We even come to celebrate the same holidays as China does, that the future of the Philippines and thus, Philippine pop culture, is Sinic. As in denoting the Sinosphere, which doesn’t just include China proper and Taiwan but also Japan, Korea and Vietnam. If China does become a superpower and get to include all of East Asia and Southeast Asia in a union, then the Sinosphere will get larger.

It will include countries that historically weren’t part of the Sinosphere, pardon if it sounds like I’m paraphrasing what Celestial said about Russia taking over the west, where this will include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and whether if we like it or not, the Philippines too. Our tastes will become so sinicised that we come to eagerly accept and enjoy what’s also popular in China, Japan and Korea or anywhere else in the new Sinosphere, western influence isn’t going away but would decrease significantly in those years. That’s if the East Asian Union becomes more isolationist for awhile.

The Philippines is too westernised for its own good that I’ve known some Filipinos who scoff at Japanese influences in Philippine comics, yet don’t care about Filipinos working for American publications or that they work on American publications themselves. The loss of America necessitates not only a growing acceptance of Japanese influences in Philippine media, but also working on both local and non-American publications and brands a lot more. It’s if American comics were to get less popular because America has declined so much, that us Filipinos would learn to content ourselves with Japanese and Chinese alternatives more.

American comics will no longer exported to the Philippines, they’ll no longer be widely read in the Philippines either. Instead we’ll be translating and publishing Chinese, Japanese and Korean comics into Tagalog, in fact we already have with just two stories (Detective Conan and Doraemon), scratch that we’ll also be translating and publishing Chinese, Japanese and Korean books into Tagalog. It’s not just those three from Northeast Asia, but also from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand. We’ll even be playing Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese programmes a lot on Philippine telly.

We’ll end up listening to a lot of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Malaysian and Hong Kong music on Philippine radio, get fabric from those countries and also a lot of philosophies and ideologies too. Not only that but Chinese philosophies like Taoism and Confucianism will become really popular in the Philippines, so much so it’s come to influence our approach to video games as well. They will even influence the way we approach other things, like clothing and fabric where our element system will be directly adopted from China.

The Chinese five element system wouldn’t just become a major fixture of Philippine culture and society, it will also become a major fixture of Philippine pop culture and literature as well. Not just that but also something like Bagua becoming really popular among Filipinos, that something like the Book of Changes would also come to influence subsequent Philippine fictional stories as well. Philippine comics will come to take cues from any Taoist and Confucian text, if these two philosophies come to heavily influence the Philippines a lot.

Same thing goes for Philippine video games that it’s possible some Philippine game developers will take cues from the Book of Changes to do a video game with, just as wuxing will come to influence Philippine fantasy works a lot. But a more interesting change to come is that meng aesthetics will be more widely accepted by and adopted into Philippine ACG/geek culture, far more than it did before now that America as a superpower is either gone or has diminished a lot.

As I said before that the loss of America necessitates countries to seek any alternative they can find, it needn’t to be Canada and Japan but also something like Russia and China (both of them are America’s current rivals). The decline of America also means less American influence in Philippine culture, though it would be used in China’s favour now that it has the opportunity to heavily influence us a lot.

It wouldn’t just be China that’ll heavily influence the Philippines a lot, but also Japan and Korea among others. I actually come to think brands coming from our immediate neighbours would also act as adequate and even acceptable substitutes for their American counterparts, once America declines as a superpower, something like Sanrio would be a good substitute for Disney just as Bumilangit would be a good substitute for Marvel. It will take time accepting some of these new alternatives/substitutes, but things like Sanrio are already popular in the Philippines.

So it would be business as usual if a Sanrio store replaces a Disney store in SM Mall of Asia, because Filipinos are already familiar with the former on some level. Because Sanrio also churns out animated adaptations of their characters that it will fill the same role Disney did for Filipinos when it comes to quality family entertainment, if not Sanrio then things like Mashimaro and Pororo will do. I guess when it comes to Japanese entertainment, while it already has something of a following here, some of it’s harder to earn the trust from other people for objectionable content.

While it still wouldn’t be any better if America declines in stature, but with a lot of American entertainment (even family entertainment at that) come from a poisoned well, spiritually speaking, that in reality we’re much better off without those. So without a Disney for Filipinos to get their family entertainment fix from, we wouldn’t just learn to prioritise local brands more but also Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Hong Kong brands too. Something like McDull could prove to be a hit among Filipinos, especially in search of more Asian family entertainment.

While things like McDull, Sanrio, Pororo, Doraemon and even something like Mashimaro could satiate Philippine appetites for family and kid entertainment, there’s been some talk of Disney being an enabler and doer of American imperialism. This was discussed in a book called How To Read Donald Duck/Para Leer Al Pato Donald where Disney comics serve to impose and normalise American values, it needn’t to be Disney comics to do the job when Radio Disney’s continued popularity and persistence in Latin America does similar things, but with American music instead.

You could also hear American music on Ghanaian, Philippine and Kenyan radio stations by the way, speaking from my experience listening to the radio. Disney even localised programmes like Good Luck Charlie, The Suite Life With Zack and Cody and a few others for the Indian market, so it’s not hard to see how Disney not only contributes to the US economy but also helps popularise American worldviews and tastes a lot. In fact it could be said that due to Disney’s contributions to the American economy that its productions and products help impose American tastes and values onto everybody else.

The Philippines included that many Filipinos commonly associate Disney with family entertainment, it may not be the sole source of family entertainment but rather the first thing to come to mind. The loss of America as a superpower would mean not only is it too late to open a Disney Store in the Philippines, but that we will come to accept and enjoy whatever alternative we seek or is offered to us. It’s going to take time for more Filipinos to trust and enjoy things like Bumlangit, Mashimaro and what else, these brands will surely grow on them when America’s gone.

But I feel the loss of America’s popularity would necessitate an alternative or substitute in its place, something that is similar enough to make others feel at home in some way. Sanrio could work for Filipinos seeking their family entertainment fix, Bumilangit could work for Filipinos seeking their superhero fix. But it could also be something like McDull and Pororo, well for the former since they could work just as fine.

It could also be a local product filling in the void, whatever those are but America’s loss could be another country’s gain. It could also offer an opportunity for some countries like the Philippines and Canada to break free of America’s grip, the former to be truly dewesternised for good when it gets heavily influenced by China and the latter to break away from America’s shadow.

The loss of America would potentially have the Philippines warming up to China a lot more, or at least just more than it does today, but as a viable and practical alternative. Further trade relations would result in a more sinicised Philippines, though the full extent of sinicisation has yet to be played out. But if God can remove almost anything American as to be forgotten because much of it’s no good, then there’s a good probability of the Philippines becoming really sinicised. Only this girl could dream but it’s something to minimise any degree of westernisation here in the Philippines.

Canada still wouldn’t become a superpower and may never become one at all, though by the virtue of being a Russian protectorate it could paradoxically forge a more distinctive personality. It would become one of the three Anglophone Russian protectorates (the other two are Britain and Ireland), but also the sole North American protectorate Russia will ever have. A Russified Canada would be born from developing stronger ties to Russia, one with big ramifications for the Arctic and a more terrible irony for Americans is that one day Russia will give Alaska to Canada as a gift.

Whatever happens will happen and America’s fall from grace will happen anyways, so people will seek any substitute or alternative or turn to one by chance and necessity.

Liberating the Philippines from the West

If there’s anything I’ve been praying about for some time now, it’s all based on my desire to have the Philippines be dewesternised in due time. Maybe in my lifetime it will be achieved and done, but I feel not a lot of Filipinos really look up to East Asian countries for inspiration and the like. Other than South Korea and perhaps a few more to some extent, but it seems more Filipinos enthusiastically enjoy Western cultures and especially America more. I don’t think emulating America is the best move in some cases, especially if it’s counterintuitive to our environment.

Sort of like setting the holiday months during the rainy season here doesn’t make sense, given we used to have summer every April and May and people are bringing it back. Mostly due to the recent heatwave that this got us reconsidering a lot of things, so I suppose it’s never a good idea to emulate the American school year schedule. Especially considering the climate here that it might as well be impractical to begin with, so there’s an argument to be made for keeping cultural traditions more in here. Or sometimes be more closely influenced by our closest neighbours, than those farthest away from us like Spain and America.

I have a nagging feeling that if China were to start heavily influencing the Philippines in earnest, that’s if the latter consents to the former once America stops being a superpower, the effect would be immediate in a way it wouldn’t be with America. Because China is so close to the Philippines, along with God undoing any trace of American influence here, that it’s going to be felt more immediately and deeply than one realises. If God can really undo almost any trace of American influence here, that’s because most of it’s not good anyways.

If it is Mystery Babylon in a way no other entity or constitution would qualify, then we might as well learn that much of its influence isn’t even good. It’s not good most of the time, especially when taking things like Playboy into consideration. Perhaps it’s about time we Filipinos need to realise that America is Mystery Babylon, that its people will be enslaved by Russians and the Chinese in the future. So if America does fall for good, then we need to have something else to look up to instead.

Mea Culpa

Celestial said that all the nations will be judged, so nation will rise against nation and there will be famine. So currently we have a famine in Palestine due to Israeli aggression and a famine in Sudan, but more worse things are to come and America will be judged the harshest for it is the world leader in anything and everything at this point in time. It is the best candidate for Mystery Babylon in a way no other entity, constitution or country would qualify, perhaps far too on the nose when it comes to the many things it exports which aren’t good. Especially on the cultural and artistic side of things, where for every thing that is good and edifying, there are those are pure and utter rubbish.

I think all the other nations will judged not for their own sins, but also for following America too much even when they shouldn’t. Especially to nations that like America a lot that it’s on them for following and imitating it a lot, this would be God’s judgement to the Philippines for emulating Mystery Babylon too much. No sooner or later, America will fall. No sooner or later, the Philippines will cozy up to China because America is gone. This would be preferable to being punished more harshly, which is what will happen to America. But the Philippines has reaped what it has sewn, it ought not to follow America anymore. So it would be preferable and better for it to be sinicised and become part of Greater China, whether if we like it or not.

Or for another matter, Britain and Canada coming under Russia but it’s the same really.

She’s an angel of the night

Margaret Mirren is pretty much based on Mary Angela Barnett, David Bowie’s still-living ex-wife and mother to his son Duncan Jones, though with darker hair and having moved on from Jean-Louis Lumiere (the David Bowie analogue of the game) with a butch lesbian lover at this point. But for a time being when both of them were in their early to mid-twenties, they were engaged and have considered marrying at some point. The only problem is that neither of them were truly committed to one another as they had an open relationship at the time, with Jean-Louis hooking up with married women and Margaret finding lovers of any gender.

Margaret Mirren is bisexual with a preference for blonds, she got attracted to Jean-Louis because he had blond hair at the time (he still has blond hair, but dyes it red these days). This is also the same reason why she tried to seduce Jemima Szary, who is no stranger to premarital (and extramarital) sex herself when it comes to American vigilantes, but she outright refused this and left before it ever comes to fruition the way Maggy would’ve seen it happen. These days Jemima Szary has stopped hooking up with random men after facing consequences and is committed to only one man, Maurice Lu. Likewise Jean-Louis has experienced the same and is devoted to only one woman, Yvette Tientcheu.

Margaret’s current lover and wife is the very butch (and blonde) Cate Hemingway, their son Duncan is brought about through artificial insemination. Well it’s another David Bowie reference alright, though one wonders if a Lexie Zahra would come about. David Bowie himself went from being married to Angela Barnett, though not without the frequent cheating, to being married and devoted to Iman. It’s not hard to see the parallels between Jean-Louis Lumiere and David Bowie, since the former looks like the latter during his Ziggy Stardust days. Even if Jean-Louis isn’t exactly like Bowie in other regards, given one of his hobbies involves hunting, but enough to see where the inspiration’s coming from.

Terrible Things

Celestial had a number of prophecies involving the LGBT community, how it’s going to get more forceful in the years to come and how it’s going to make major inroads in African countries of all things. I have heard a news report on Citi FM involving the LGBT community in Ghana, so this could be one sign of her prophecy coming true in some way. There was something like the LGBT community in African countries before, but that was when they didn’t know any better due to being non-Christian at the time. It would be really horrifying if the LGBT community were to get more outspoken and brazen in African countries, though some have already legalised LGBT activity like Botswana for instance.

Nigeria and Ghana could be next, especially if more pastors are going to talk about this problem any time soon even on the radio in June. Then we get to the uptick in anal sex or sodomy between adults and minors where it’s going to get really commonplace in the future, it would be all the more horrifying if somebody records this on social media and it becomes a hit. She had a prophecy about how social media will air or host anything unholy and disgusting under the guise of personal preference, how people will do anything heinous to have sex and why this will really hit America real badly. America was founded as a Christian colony, but the more people brought in astrology the more it fell from grace.

This year would be the time when America really does fall from grace, both geopolitically and socioeconomically when it does go into administration any time soon.

Dancing Queen

Celestial had a prophecy where Kamala Harris would become the next US president, where she will finish where Joe Biden left off and Biden will not be US president for long. She said that he will be put into a retirement home any time soon, given his advanced age and you have people casting doubts over this. America will be transformed for the worse when she does become US president, she will reinstate the laws it recently abolished. Most notably abortion where she will make abortion legal in all US states, she’s going to criminalise legal, godly acts and decriminalise ungodly ones.

In this vision she had of her, Kamala became a giant who smashes buildings with a hammer. But Celestial goes on saying that the next ruler after her is Barack Obama, which means if he becomes US president again he will be the final one. He will have a third term at the White House, where he starts ruling over the United States like a dictator and may technically qualify as one. She goes on saying that America’s new ruler will find ways to persecute Christians, killing them until there is few of them left if they never left for anywhere else. Companies will be deployed to kill them.

Most notably Apple, Amazon and others and it would be frightening if Disney has the guts to kill them in Obama’s third presidential term, but in the meantime the more people cast doubts over Biden’s presidency the more Harris will be impatient enough to have her turn soon. Donald Trump will not be elected as US president, he’s going to get shot this year and his death will trigger further violence and riots. Families and friends will be torn apart over this, the civil war will go on and on. But then again if Trump dies, Harris will win in some way.

She will take advantage of his death and have people vote for her a lot, she will appeal a lot to feminists and especially the intersectional variety. They will vote for her and treat her like what conservatives do with Trump, Celestial pointed out that this Evangelical idolatry of Trump will be his undoing. That he’s boastful and arrogant, well proud of the attention he’s getting, will undo his legacy when he dies. He’s not going to live another day, another year when this happens. There’s little Christians can do about it when they’ve made such an idol of him, which is the gist of her prophecies.

If America were to get a female president, especially a biracial one at that, they’d better be aware that she may not be up to any good the way God sees her. Not to mention she too will be killed off to make way for Barack Obama, the third time around when he becomes president.
