Another civil war

There are a lot of prophecies about a forthcoming American civil war not seen in years that makes you wonder about America whose culture is prone to switching from one pole to another, so double-minded as to give into political instability at any point, a house divided that won’t stand for long. Whilst bipartisan politics isn’t unique to America itself, these are magnified given America’s standing as a superpower for now that it’s telling it’s bound to fall into a culture war most times of the day. On one hand you have the right wing who wants to hold onto America’s original identity to the point of melding religion with politics, to the point of becoming really contrarian towards anything that goes against it. On the other hand you have the left wing that wants progress in American culture, wanting it to be open to feminism, gay rights, anti-racism and anti-classism, where it even plays out in some Christian denominations.

An independent party does exist but because the left wing and the right wing are much larger, to the point where either one of them exerts a bigger influence on American culture at any point in time. It’s like if a democratic president were to preside over the US government, then American culture will eventually adopt left wing sensibilities, even when it’s not always clear-cut in reality. But given Donald Trump’s return to power that it’s inevitable he and his cronies will do anything to censor media that offends them in some way, whether if it’s movies or cartoon characters like Red Hood, that it’s really going to influence the direction of where American culture’s heading. When it’s tempered by an equally contrarian left wing bloc that it’s really going to set the tone for America’s cultural and moral duplicity, a nation that’s as pious as it’s highly reprobate and unrepentant. Unsure where to stand on, ultimately confused.

Almost a decade ago Cameroon underwent a civil war between the Anglophone minority and the Francophone majority, but America’s much more peculiar as it’s a legitimate superpower. But one that’s teetering on the edge of real civil instability due to its double-minded character, not helped by its highly bipartisan politics, that what was a culture war for years will turn to legitimate bloodlust causing casualties along the way. Something similar has happened before on American soil, that there’s practically nothing new’s under the sun there. If America can’t serve two masters, it has to choose one or the other. So it ultimately chose the right wing, even when Trump’s getting out of hand in his attempts to get Canada, Venezuela and Greenland together. He might even subjugate Mexico next when he’s unable to stop China from getting the Philippines (if it can be seed as such, due to this country’s own sins).

He might die and be unable to finish his term around 2027 or a little earlier than that, as he won the US elections in November 2024. He might never make it to 2028 if prophecies are to be believed, where he gets replaced by JD Vance who may even be America’s first real dictator, even if Trump has been suspected of being one himself. America might even collapse much sooner than expected, which only leads to a Vance dictatorship. Or even a Barack dictatorship, but it’s inevitable America will become everything it hates about Russia and China, clearly it has that speck in its eye. It’s kind of suspected in some circles already that America is something of a self-righteous superpower, where it wants to be seen as the hero of the world (the hammer of the earth thing) when it does the same heinous attacks it charges its enemies with. It’s kind of obvious to certain communities, like socialist ones in particular.

America might not remain stable for long as a superpower, due to its double-mindedness that it is a white house divided and will collapse at any point.

All That She Wants

Considering that America’s been compared by a number of prophets like Celestial and Dumitru Duduman to Mystery Babylon, an End Times nation-state that corrupts the entire planet that’s personified as a woman riding atop the monster that will destroy her, with Celestial even stating that America might even come to invade Jamaica one day that it seems any Latin American suspicion of American imperialism isn’t just justified, it’s already been long suspected for years. According to this person, they prophesised that America might take over Mexico and Colombia one day. America already took over part of Mexican territory before, you may know these as Texas (which will get bombed), Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, California and New Mexico. Now you should know why Mexico even has Baja California, which is a remnant of the former California.

There’s actually a book called How To Read Donald Duck, which largely concerns Disney comics writers’ tendency to otherise global South countries and the curious economics the characters’ cities operate with, which is still a thing with not only current core Disney stories but also those of its consolidated acquisitions like Marvel. I have talked about Marvel writers indulging in the same thing towards black Africans before, where it’s kind of obvious that this is what Black Panther and Storm tend to get. Edward Said spoke about Orientalism as the west’s tendency to other global South regions by treating them as antithetical to the west, though he was specifically talking about West Asian countries here. But it can also be applied to sub-Saharan countries just the same really, which comes into play regarding the way Storm’s depicted.

Whenever black Africans do show up in most US ACG works, there’s a form of Orientalism that treats them as practically the opposite of white westerners. In earlier stories they’ll be stereotyped as scantily clad cannibals adhering to polytheistic practises, in some newer stories Africa will be portrayed as uniformly poor and in some regards, still more backwards than the west, which is Orientalism 101 really. The way Storm was portrayed in the earliest story to introduce her (Giant Sized X-Men) adheres to this Orientalist formula, wherein she’s portrayed as a naked African woman worshipped as a goddess by the locals. Let’s not forget that How To Read Donald Duck was written when America kind of invaded Chile for being communist or something, that led to this book getting banned in some way.

Let’s not forget recurring US rhetoric portraying Latin Americans as drug lords, as to justify these countries getting invaded by America. This could explain the colonialist air behind Orientalism aimed at regions like sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and West Asia, and East Asia (the Far East), where they do this to subjugate the locals and then acclimatising them to western practises. It’s kind of odd in hindsight to think that although America is technically against imperialism, but in practise it’s not above doing this itself as a way to gain power against its enemies. Considering that Donald Trump staged a takeover of Venezuela regarding things like oil, that this might explain why he’s out to get Greenland for its own natural resources. He even demands Canada to join America, though the logistics have yet to be worked out in his favour.

And if Trump makes America take over or if others argue colonise Mexico, Jamaica and Colombia, this will only deepen Latin Americans’ suspicions of America imposing its hegemony on their countries. Let’s not also forget that Disney actually has a radio network in Latin America called Radio Disney, which wasn’t a thing when How To Read Donald Duck was first written in the 1970s. But it can be seen as a further example of Disney being an agent of US imperialism in Latin America, considering that Radio Disney’s very much a part of Disney as the Avengers, and Mickey and friends are. American bands and musicians like Linkin Park, Chappell Roan, Lenny Kravitz and Green Day do get played there, in addition to their Latin American counterparts like Reik, Thalia and Bad Bunny. But it still functions similarly when it comes to popularising or even inculcating American tastes onto unsuspecting listeners.

Just as Disney productions and Marvel comics inculcate American worldviews onto unsuspecting readers and viewers in their formative years, it’s not hard to see how this shapes people in their childhood years and beyond. Let’s not forget that both Mexico and Canada even share the same land mass as America, which makes any claims of American imperialism or American hegemony even more potent. This makes one wonder why would Donald Trump be hellbent on incorporating or consolidating both Canada and Greenland (which is part of Denmark) into the United States, it’s logistically easier in a way as they’re both closer to the US than Denmark, that it wouldn’t be much of a hassle for America to get Mexico. It would be harder get back the Philippines should it fall into Chinese hands, so getting Mexico (a fellow former Spanish colony) would compensate for this.

It’s bad enough that BBC journalists were told to call the kidnapping of the former Venezuelan president a capture, like as if for all his faults he deserved this even when it’s something he would’ve never foresaw, trying to run the country to the best of his abilities. Now the current Venezuelan president was his vice president, filling in his shoes to the best of her abilities. Even if not all Filipinos feel this way around the announcements that the US is using the same tactics to Venezuela like China does to Taiwan, that it’s really turning out to be a sunk cost fallacy to justify America for whatever it does despite being the same things China gets chastised for. America is alienating so many of its allies that they’re beginning to engage in realpolitik with either China or Russia, that no sooner or later the Philippines may follow suit towards China if America succeeds in invading not just Venezuela, but also Mexico and Cuba.

A more controversial possibility is to witness both Canada and Europe joining Russia, whether if this even includes Greenland as it’s still part of Denmark for now. But there are prophecies of Russia taking over both Europe and then North America to an extent, that both Canada and Greenland might end up joining it in some way. Though on the condition that America becomes directly ruled over by Russia itself, even then it does make wonder if America has gone too far at this point. Thus warranting its disappearance from the planet for long.

It’s a family affair

Recently the United States developed the audacity to arrest the current Venezuelan president, mostly in an attempt to get oil there, which is made more distressing that this is something Filipinos should know well. Namely that Venezuela was also a former Spanish colony to the point of sharing a number of things together with us, that Spanish also used to be spoken here that it’s shocking why many Filipinos make fun of this. It’s like the Philippines identifies a lot with America to the point of internalising its own stereotypes about Latin Americans, even when we historically had more in common with the latter before. Not too long ago Philippine television channels actually even dubbed Latin American programmes, but it seems many Filipinos would rather continue excusing America for whatever bad things it does, even when it’s to a fellow former Spanish colony like Venezuela.

It seems as if most Filipinos don’t care if America has the audacity to invade Venezuela and then get its president imprisoned or arrested, not just because they think the Philippines should solve its own problems, but also because the Philippines identifies a lot with America to the point of internalising its stereotypes about Latin Americans and Latin American countries. Venezuela is also a former Spanish colony and even if it has problems like our own, it’s practically a country we should sympathise more with than to the United States really. Even if I don’t know much about Venezuela but it should be noted that at some point we had a shabu epidemic, that if Venezuela has a cocaine epidemic then it’s a country we ought to sympathise more because we share many things in common. That’s if it weren’t for internalising American views a lot, it would be more realistic to sympathise more with Venezuela instead.

If America has the audacity to invade Mexico, then Filipinos should also be concerned for the same reasons I’ve enumerated. We even had trade together at some point, we were actually ruled over by Mexico too. Bu unfortunately for as long as Filipinos continue identifying more with America, we will perpetuate its stereotypes about fellow former Spanish colonies like Venezuela and Mexico. This doesn’t bode us for us as members of a former Spanish colony itself, because it’s as if we’re willing to excuse or justify whatever America does, because we think America is always good. Even if it means being insensitive to fellow former Spanish colonies like Venezuela.

Can’t be meshed up easily

Two people, namely an Irishwoman and an Englishman, said that Islam might become the dominant religion in Europe and Christianity will be deeply marginalised there. This is kind of politically incorrect to say this out because of how politically charged this is, but if the Satanists’ agenda is to substitute Christianity with another monotheistic religion like Islam, one might wonder if this is their way of undermining Europe’s Christian heritage. Whilst not all European countries are like this but given how Europe was the hotbed of Christianity for centuries, that if Europe becoming secular isn’t enough then substituting Christianity with some other religion would do. Also in some circles, Islam is seen as this marginalised, downtrodden faith with Christianity being the detested, hegemonic faith.

So substituting what seems hegemonic and domineering (Christianity) with something that seems marginalised and poor (Islam) kind of fits, especially given the way these two are perceived in more politically progressive circles. But this is also politically incorrect to say this out loud because of a recurring suspicion of certain organisations pushing a certain agenda or ideology onto people, whether if it’s LGBT, polyamory or multiculturalism, it’s not something can be said out loud in polite company (i.e. the more politically progressive among us). Another problem has to do with the nature of the acculturation gap, where the child of immigrants readily adopts or assimilates into the host country more than their parents do. So even if say Algerian parents do want their children to hold onto their Algerian culture as much as possible in France, it’s only achievable to an extent.

If because their children would readily go with French trends and phenomena, sometimes out of choice to avoid getting bullied by their native French peers. I suppose this would’ve been true for say Aya Nakamura’s parents who wanted her to hold onto her Malian heritage, be a good Malian Muslim girl and so on but she quickly assimilated into French culture, moreso than they do and would predictably has the mannerisms of a white Frenchwoman. This would be more obvious had she ever visited her relatives who never left Mali, they see her for what she practically turned into given her upbringing in France. Or for another matter, how Jay Sean’s Indian relatives would feel about him. So attempting to hold onto their parents’ culture whilst being raised in another country would always risk becoming a sunk cost fallacy due to the nature of acculturation gaps.

It is possible for Muslim immigrants to assimilate into western countries, but it’s their children who’d have an easier time doing the same. Conversely speaking whilst their children might want to hold onto their parents’ cultures, they’ll be pressured into following the cultures of their nonimmigrant classmates. So it’s really going to be a lose-lose in hindsight given the nature of the acculturation gap. Even if Islam doesn’t immediately become the dominant religion of Europe and Europe already has pockets of still practising Christian communities and individuals, I guess if you can’t see God and Mammon then you can’t observe both Christianity and Islam at the same time. (This is something my relatives kind of pointed out as I had a habit of listening to multiple sermons at the same time.)

If a compromise were possible in any way, you’d have crypto-Christian communities trying to pass off as Muslim to avoid getting harassed a lot as it is in Turkey and Albania. If the rest of Europe does get Islamised at all, then we’ll be getting a lot of crypto-Christians by then. Oddly enough Celestial had a similar prophecy concerning the matter, but one pertaining to America and possibly Canada to an extent. Even then it’s still politically incorrect to say this, because of how politically charged this is in the west. Sort of like how the west prides itself as a hotbed of migrants moving there, but where it resulted in problems that can’t be said out loud without being suspected of having right wing sympathies. And that it’s kind of offensive to say that Europe is in danger of being Islamicised.

But if you have prophecies of Satanists substituting Christianity in the west with Islam and then succeeding at it, one would wonder if they also succeeded at popularising LGBT matters and the like just the same. Even if it’s politically incorrect to say this, but if Satan’s all about rebellion, then this is a conscious effort to undermine Europe’s Christian heritage. To the point where Europe inevitably gets judged for this and gets turned into Russia’s lackey in the future.

It’s still there

From my experience perusing and discovering both devotionals and Bible reading websites from countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Hungary, Croatia, Poland, Britain, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Romania, Finland and Russia, whilst it’s true that Europe is less religious than America but I’d argue Europe seems less religious than America is because it doesn’t have a particularly substantial Christian right wing bloc comparable to the United States. It could vary between countries but even then I don’t think many of them have this much of a substantial Christian media industry the way America does, like how practically none of them have their equivalents to things like DC Talk, Veggie Tales, so on and so forth, let alone be famous outside of their borders.

The Chronicles of Narnia, Divine Comedy and the like may count, but they’re from the past and it’s kind of hard coming up with what amounts to the European equivalents to Veggie Tales and DC Talk, and even if European countries do have their own Christian media industries they still wouldn’t be on par with their United States counterpart in terms of quantity, scope and scale. Thus contributing to the perception that Europe is very secular compared to America, even though by going to online Bible readings and devotionals from these places reveals something to the contrary. In the same way that China might be less anti-Christian than one realises, especially from going to its own online Bible readings and devotionals, or for another matter India, Vietnam and Indonesia. And even if they have their own issues with Christianity, this hasn’t stopped Christian ministries from being operational in any way.

This hasn’t stopped Christian ministries from growing and popping up whenever one discovers or finds them at all, to the point where they seem to be this way due to something like media illiteracy. Media literacy is when somebody critically analyses the way media communicates messages and portrays or conveys ideas and sentiments to people, which may reveal certain biases that may not be found in media coming from said country this nation’s talking about (i.e. China, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland and etc). Countries like India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and China have more of a Christian presence than one realises, so logically countries like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania still have more of a Christian presence than one realises. They seem less Christian because they don’t fit American expectations of Christian religiosity/fidelity.

Not just in terms of numbers/quantity (though in China, Vietnam and Indonesia it is growing), but also the apparent lack of a substantial Christian socioeconomic bloc that contributes to the perception of being less Christian than America is with the odd exception of Israel. I could be wrong about countries like Germany, Ireland and Italy, but as it stands I don’t think all three of them have a substantial right wing Christian subculture the way America does. That doesn’t mean they’re this irreligious as they do have Christian ministries putting out online devotionals and Bible readings, as much as they don’t have a substantial insular Christian subculture the way America does. They do have Christian media industries but it’s not as large as the one in America, I don’t think European Christians have their own versions of people like Oral Roberts, Pat Robertson and James Dobson, let alone enjoy the same scale of influence these three have outside of their borders.

A Christian media industry exists in each respective European country, but it’s not particularly substantial compared to the US counterpart, thus contributing to the assumption (or perhaps presumption) that Europe is less religious than America. Or for another matter, China, Vietnam, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. If God keeps a remnant of his in Europe, then they will persist and go on for long.

It’s own entity and culture

I’m of the belief that African American culture is practically distinct from the African cultures, especially considering how you have trafficked Africans arriving on what will become modern America, being practically left to start everything and anything from scratch as to create a new culture altogether. If highlife is unique to West African countries like Ghana and Nigeria, then things like soul music, hip hop and even rock music at some point have their roots in African American communities and ethos. Even African American naming practises differ from their Akan and Igbo counterparts, not that there aren’t any Akans and Igbos with western names (or Nigerians and Ghanaians in general). Although African American culture does have African roots, it’s also isolated from the African continent enough to become its own entity.

Even if similar things can be said of the other African diasporic cultures in the Americas and also in Eurasia to some extent (Turkey, even Abkhazia), but I feel the African American culture is the most influential of all. Without it you wouldn’t get things like hip hop and rock music getting exported to and localised in countries like the Philippines, South Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam, or for another matter countries like Germany, Italy, Greece, United Kingdom and Russia. I suppose if white American culture is sufficiently different from its European counterparts, then African American culture would be just as different towards its African counterparts, like I said before. When it comes to hairstyles, the African American story would be one of resistance to white American norms. In the 1970s, African Americans would grow an Afro and keep it this way.

Then sometime in the 1980s up to now, African Americans would show another form of resistance by wearing dreadlocks or having hair braided in some other way. This is like this in African countries but to a lesser extent, especially in places like Ghana and Cameroon, where’s not much of a white presence that lasted this long. Though it could be said that there are some traces of European colonialism in schools regarding African natural hair, African schoolgirls have the option of having their hair braided. African schoolboys are always expected to either have short hair or be bald, whereas among African Americans they would show resistance to white American norms by wearing dreadlocks, cornrows and braids. Odder still is that dreadlocks is something of a divisive hairstyle among African men, since there are some who see it as effeminate.

Dreadlocks are also divisive among African Americans but mainly in the lines of being respectable to the white majority there, since white people are pretty negligible throughout much of Africa. South Africa’s the only African country that continues to have both a substantial white European descendant presence (something similar happened in Algeria but they were eventually booted out) and an influential white European descendant bloc, something West African countries don’t have much so they’d have similar attitudes towards black people doing black things. But I feel it’s the naming practises, music, literature, history and audiovisual media that make African Americans practically distinct from their African counterparts, the only black Africans comparable to their struggles would be those in Southern and East Africa as well as DRC.

(Also known as RDC in French.)

Maybe that’s to my knowledge but even then I feel African Americans are pretty culturally distinct from black Africans in the same way white Americans are distinct from white Europeans, like how amapiano originates from South Africa whilst hip hop originates from America. The African American experience is peculiar in that African Americans both constitute a very influential bloc and yet oppressed in a white majority country that’s also a major superpower, though similar things could be said of Britain and France at some point, they wouldn’t start having more black people around until sometime between the 19th and 21st centuries, where they were superpowers on the decline. So the African American experience stands out as they’re a numerically substantial, influential minority that’s oppressed in a country that’s the current superpower.

South Africa comes close but it’s not exactly that similar to America in other regards, if because it’s only an ascendant superpower at this point and its black population is the majority that’s oppressed by a highly influential white minority. Similar things can be said of Brazil, but one that comes closer to America than South Africa does, as its trajectory’s eerily similar regarding the nature of trans-Atlantic slavery in the Americas. Brazil might even give people a better idea of what America was like when it was an ascending superpower, given its growing economy and influence, as well as having a habit of oppressing its own African diaspora. So Brazil is pretty comparable to America, having the largest economies in their own respective continents.

Though I feel South Africa is a good contender for this as it’s also a rising superpower with one singer named Tyla having one of her songs (Push 2 Start) getting played on international radio, in fact it played on Radio Disney of all things, at least the Mexican version as its American counterpart no longer exists. That and its own legacy of racial segregation in the form of apartheid, but it’s still pretty telling that African Americans exist in substantial numbers enough to form their own highly influential culture. That’s not to say Afro-Turks and Afro-Akhazbians lack their own cultures, they certainly do on some level but they’re not exactly a large bloc on par with their American counterparts.

African Americans number around almost 50 million, whereas Afro-Turks number between 5000 and 20,000 with Afro-Akhazbians being possibly smaller in number still, so the former would be fairly common enough to constitute a highly influential bloc in America. It’s kind of appropriate to regard the African American community as something of a nation within a nation, as a number of their own cultural traditions and practises do diverge from white American norms. A subculture not so much in the conventional sense but something that’s a subdivision within the wider American culture, since it’s not uncommon for African Americans to do conventionally American customs and follow American holidays. Though similar things can be said of say what the Ewe people currently are in Ghana, there is a difference.

The real difference is that Ewe culture long predated American culture, whereas African American culture emerged when America as we know it started to emerge. The majority ethnic group’s culture will often be the more influential of the two, so in the case with both Cote D’Ivoire and Ghana, the majority ethnicity in both countries is Akan and both of them used to be part of the Ashanti Empire. So inevitably both successor states will carry over much of the predecessor’s culture into the present day, even after a degree of European colonialism. In the case with African American culture, the degree of westernisation is far more extensive. If because they often coexisted with white European settlers enough to have the latter’s influence rub on the former, so either they share similar customs or that European Americans habitually appropriate AA culture.

There are probably other things unique to African Americans but even then they’re pretty distinct from their African counterparts. Whether if it’s the naming practises or the holidays themselves, African Americans are culturally rather different from their African counterparts. Not necessarily so entirely dissimilar, but as much as their own entity as their white counterparts are to white Europeans.

Idols Fall

When it comes to Donald Trump, the weird thing is that a lot of Christians tend to put him on a pedestal, much moreso than they do with somebody who’s an actual self-proclaimed Christian like Jimmy Carter. Even if Mr Carter was not a saint in life, so is Mr Trump considering his affairs and pride. If pride goes before the fall (I kind of struggle with this), perhaps Trump’s downfall will come sooner than expected. This prophecy says that he’s going to die because so many people have turned him into an idol, trusting in a mere mortal more than they do with God. The idolatry of Trump is also largely responsible for why some people turn away from Christianity, if because they can’t stand Christians putting him on a pedestal and overlooking his faults a lot.

Until recently when it came to Paula White (a heretical pastor) being at the White House, but it does make you wonder why so many Christians make an idol out of him. Far moreso than they do with Jimmy Carter, who may not have been perfect, but it seems easier to overlook faults in Trump. I feel some of the problems with Trumpism is how populist he tends to be, pandering more to people’s sentiments than aiming for the betterment of humanity. In some regards, he’s like the opposite of Jesus who not only understood human feelings, but also demanded humans to better themselves in his name. Trump barely does this if ever, possibly never does this at all because he’s really full of himself.

If Trump was sent by God to Christians, the problem lies in worshipping the gift over the Giver. To the point where God will see fit to withdraw the blessing from them, just so they can honour him more (the one who’s really in charge of this). Trump might not be unique among prominent figures to be turned into idols by many Christians and especially Protestants oddly enough, since they do this with authors like CS Lewis. It’s even odder still to think that the current Trump administration has a lot of wealthy people at the upper echelons that it’s practically a plutocracy, rule by the very rich really. Whilst an actual aristocracy, gentry and the like wouldn’t be any better, it’s strange considering what America turned into.

The first democracy of the early modern period has morphed into a plutocracy, transforming from being ruled by the people to only a handful deemed fit to rule over the people. In this case it’s not so much through hereditary landownership and the like among gentry and aristocracy as it is in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, but rather through sheer wealth and corporate power as it is with present day America. Whilst Christianity says that the love of money is the root of all money, looking down on materialism and favouring the poor over the rich, Trump’s administration turns these on their heads where money is beloved, materialism is condoned and the rich are favoured over the poor.

Apparently somebody like Donald Trump is fit to rule over people due to a combination of his sheer financial wealth and his populist sentiment, surprisingly among Christians who should know better. Being rich and powerful is more important to the second Trump administration than being generous and compassionate, so this is likely why USAID got dissolved or something. This only makes it easier for America’s rivals (both China and Russia, which are God’s tools of indignation against this country) to give gifts and other resources to suffering countries instead, it’s as if America doesn’t want to help people anymore and is more interested in holding onto power as it’s slipping away quickly.

Trying to incorporate Canada, Greenland and Panama into America proper, reverting Mount Denali to Mount McKinley (thus disregarding the feelings of indigenous people there) and renaming the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America, in all honesty the Gulf of America will always be known as the Gulf of Mexico to me. X will always be Twitter to me and still is so in Japan, though it’s harrowing to see Elon Musk not only turn Twitter into his soapbox but also how he got a place in the US government. Then again the rest of the Trump administration is rich, it wouldn’t matter if you have a more politically qualified but middle class or even working class candidate when you could have somebody rich but unqualified.

Even then it’s telling how and why America’s increasingly becoming not only more irrelevant, but also judged for what it does and why it’s going to get destroyed. God has given it time to repent but it doesn’t seem to repent in earnest at least, not helped by that too many Christians put their faith in both Trump and the nation-state, instead of God and his body. As if geopolitics matter more than faith in God, which transcends borders and eras. The things the Bible said before are still relevant to today and any situation, really (from my experience but it applies to everybody and everything else, anybody and anything else). Even if Donald Trump wants America to be great again like it was the last time, it’s not going to happen in any way he likes.

Under him and subsequent presidents (Kamala Harris and Barack Obama), America might slide into dictatorship and fascism, which others have suspecting of undergoing this in some way. As much as Trump wants America to be great again, he will wage real war against the nations to get his way real badly. He’ll make America get into a war with two European countries, both Denmark and Britain, just to get Canada and Greenland. Should these two consider allying with Russia, he’s going to find a way to undermine it no matter how unsuccessful this is in the long run. Them joining Russia may not happen in the time that I expect them to, though it’s possible Trump might be successful in getting both at first, only to have them join Russia later on.

Actually even if Trump does succeed in consolidating both Greenland and Canada into the wider American sphere proper, it’s not going to last long nor is it going to end well when he does (come close to it). If because he might drag the nation into a nasty conflict with not only China, but also Russia which plans on bombing and nuking this country. America will be the sore loser in this fight, something Trump himself will be unable to prevent or even avert in advance, because it’s going to lose. I had a dream involving a war where China does get the Philippines, but as a comeuppance of the latter’s own sins that it’s on itself why it got to be part of China. A case of God using evil to deal with evil, as what somebody else pointed out.

It would be no different if God uses Russia to punish America so badly, that it’s going to take both Canada and Greenland away from it sooner than expected. There are even some people like the Handmaid of the Most High, Celestial and Glynda Lomax all saying that America will become the territory of another country, in fact the other two said that it’s going to be Russia that’s going to take over America. Not just culturally but also geopolitically, where America becomes part of Russia in some way or another. A Russian colony whereas both Greenland and Canada have gone on to become Russian protectorates, commonwealths or something.

It wouldn’t matter if Trump found a way to bring Canada and Greenland to the US, because it’s going to be temporary and not without nasty consequences. It already is happening with Canadians preferring to buy Canadian brands and products, Greenlanders might be no different in some way too. If taken to a logical or perhaps consequential conclusion, America might find itself becoming more irrelevant in their lives and be overtaken by Russia. But America becoming overshadowed by Russia and China is bound to happen, both of them will defeat America together in WWIII (which could happen anytime soon). Even if Trump does succeed, it’s only temporary for he’s an idol of many.

He may not die yet, though he could at any point. He wants to rule over Canada, but he may not succeed in the long run. Perhaps it’s about time for Trump followers to confront his humanity, over his inability to succeed at what he wants to do due to his own arrogance. If pride goes before the fall, Trump may witness a downfall in political prowess. More countries will revolt against America, even allies like the Philippines will begin to protest against it. Trump might want to prolong American rule, but God will undermine his efforts to bring him down once and for all.

Judgements

I said before that God will judge the Philippines for leaving its first love, its myriad evils and blasphemy that he will let China conquer it for good. He will even make China do the same thing to South Korea through North Korea for many of the same reasons, he can’t let the two go on like this since they have substantial Christian populations, so he’s going to discipline both of them by letting China take over them. I remember somebody going by the name of Nakita Wambui saying that Japan will be judged for refusing God in its people’s hearts that no sooner or later, it will be judged for its war crimes. Remember, Japan partook in war crimes during the second World War.

This included experimenting on people, relying on so-called ‘comfort women’ for sex and so on. It should also be noted that Japan is something of a missionary’s graveyard, which is something that I heard in a church sermon before. Despite missionaries coming over there in the past a lot, Japan still doesn’t have a substantial Christian population the way China, South Korea and the Philippines do. Similar things can be said of Thailand and why China will conquer it just the same, to paraphrase Celestial from the Master’s Voice, the Sinosphere will be much larger than it was before because it will include countries that historically weren’t part of it, the Philippines included.

I even said before that God will even undo most western influence in the Philippines, given this nation ended up aping the worst of the west. From then on in the future, Filipinos will no longer be bilingual in Tagalog and English, but rather Tagalog and Mandarin. For the Filipinos have given themselves to strange gods, that no sooner or later the Philippines will rapidly go secular. In fact in just a few years when it legalises gay marriage, polyamory and the like, it will have only 30% religious people from then on. It will become fashionable for young Filipinos to look down on Christianity, seeing it as outdated, discriminatory and redundant. It will become fashionable for them to turn to things like Buddhism, Hinduism and the like.

The Philippines will become just like other East Asian countries, but primarily because it’s grown so wicked that it doesn’t honour the Lord anymore. It repeatedly blasphemes God, condones wickedness or is on the verge of doing so, sees nothing wrong with sin and the like. It’s politically corrupt because it’s spiritually corrupt, so God will let the wicked punish the wicked when he permits China to conquer us. The Chinese sword will never depart from Philippine homes, it will remain tied to China for life in some way or another. It is the Esau nation that forfeits God’s blessings and love in favour of Satan and the world, that it will reap the consequences of its wrongdoings.

The Philippines really is the nation of Edom reborn, having betrayed God’s blessings so many times that he will let China conquer it forever. Its only chance of redemption and repentance is when it becomes part of China in some manner, which says a lot about what it wrought onto itself over the years that God will discipline us this way with China taking over this nation. The Philippines’s heart is far from God, it’s on the verge of backsliding and it will continue to backslide quite rapidly, only to make him use China to punish us.

We have to acquiesce to our Chinese overlords, just as the Bible talks about Christians having to obey secular people in certain cases (which I didn’t get before). This is clearly the Philippines’s own fault why China conquered it, it repeatedly defies God in favour of the world that it’s going to happen anyways. He will make China do the same to other East Asian countries and even all countries in Oceania, as to build an Asian-Pacific union in the near future.

Money, Money

There have been some videos about how K-Pop groups and companies encourage and enable idolatry in a myriad ways, though this isn’t unique to them as I think western musicians and groups are just as culpable. It is possible to make something like either the Prodigy or Ace of Base into idols, which I have at various points or another, which is probably also true for other people in my situation and position. K-Pop is no different in this regard, though the real difference is that where it’s coming from, it’s from one of the few East Asian countries with a substantial Christian population. The largest belongs to the Philippines, which makes this all the more grievous, as we should know better. But this means we’ve abandoned our first love in favour of the world and idols like these.

South Korea is no different in this regard and whilst it still has a substantial enough Christian population, this is pretty disturbing why would a country like this would enable idolatry when so many of its people have turned away from this before. It would be parsimonious to say that both South Korea and the Philippines are heading in the same direction as Europe and Canada are already in, going from practising Christians in the majority, to those who’re lukewarm at most. Cultural Christians if you will, like they know the Bible but have not much of a personal relationship with God in any way. This is also true of the Philippines and South Korea, why they always do the things they shouldn’t be doing and stuff.

This is also the reason why God will allow China to take over both of them as they are at risk of backsliding and may already be in the process of doing so, I think if the Philippine congress were to approve of gay marriage, that’s when a lot more Filipinos start backsliding real badly. Going from nearly 100% religious to 30% religious in just a few years, hastening what’s already undergone in Europe and Canada. A sign that the Philippines is on the verge of backsliding real badly, as to warrant getting conquered by China the same way Babylon conquered Judah. Same goes for South Korea, especially when it comes to enabling or encouraging sins like these.

It would be kind of ghoulish to think that KPop producers, executives and musicians themselves have consecrated to the Devil in some way or another to get to where they are now, it is possible to pray for them as others have in the past. But for every K-Pop musician who turns to God, there are those who harden their hearts and refuse the word of God in any and every way, thus missing their chance at salvation by God. Not all KPop and Korean musicians are like this, thankfully enough and there are those who’ve already turned their backs on fame and fortune in favour of worshipping God more. But it remains to be seen if many more KPop musicians will be saved, whether if this is also true for balladeers and Trot musicians (another Korean made music genre).

Though I’ve listened to some KPop before, even rather recently, I never really got into any KPop musician seriously as I have with their European counterparts. The music is catchy but given the revelation of KPop musicians and their ilk making a deal with the Devil, it does make one wonder why they manage to acquire not only a lot of fans worldwide, but also a very devout following. Like I said, this isn’t unique to them as you see this with western musicians all the time too. It’s possible to make a band like Sisters of Mercy into an idol, which is already the case for other people. Except with KPop, this is deliberated. It’s more methodical than one would with Trot, even if there are already some people who’ve made Trot musicians into idols of sorts.

KPop is oddly very methodical in attracting a devout following, especially when it comes to some musicians feigning gay sex to arouse the lusts of their fans, which also got me into thinking this is no different with the Backstreet Boys, which would’ve been just as calculated. Burk Parsons refused to do anything Backstreet Boys related when he was younger, feeling he doesn’t want to arouse lust in people, which is particularly true for the BSB army producing a lot of online BSB pornographic fanfiction. This would be called visuals back in the 1990s, with one video being kind of pornographic to some people like one of my brothers.

So it seems Lou Pearlman was very successful at doing just that, though it also helped that he managed the erotic dance troupe Chippendales before. KPop managers, producers and executives likely have the same mindset really, which explains why KPop musicians feel the urge to feign gay sex onstage. KPop could also be seen as kind of too sexualised for some people, especially when it comes to skimpy outfits and feigned gay sex, that this would be too much for others and even those in Korea. The first webpage that said that KPop promotes idolatry is an online thread in Korean, which led me to YouTube videos pointing out the same thing.

Somebody going by the name of Nakita pointed this out repeatedly, that KPop promotes and enables idolatry in a lot of ways. You have KPop fans writing fanfictions, collecting every magazine article and book featuring their idols and so on, even if these behaviours and actions aren’t unique to them either. Ace of Base, Bauhaus and Prodigy fans have done some of the same things by the way, though in the case with KPop it’s all the more grievous as South Korea had just recently turned Christian. Why would an East Asian country with a sizable Christian population do the same thing as a backsliding European country is wont to do? This is one way of knowing and realising that South Korea is in the process of backsliding, it has lost its first love.

Churches are also closing in South Korea, so the process of backsliding is accelerated there. What took centuries for European countries to become secular, it only took a few decades for South Korea to do the same. The Philippines is also in the process of backsliding, where it would even take a few years for this to become majority secular if the Congress ever legalises gay marriage at all. If it ever takes place in the near future, then the Philippines will also witness a hastening of backsliding. The thing with KPop only makes it worse as it’s something that successfully takes most people away from God, possibly why South Korea is getting more secular and why the Philippines is next in line. KPop really is a curse, a stain on everybody’s clothing.

Even if not all Korean musicians are like this, but it’s kind of horrifying if the Philippines ever goes the same way South Korea is heading, KPop is already distracting a lot of people from God and this is one of many factors that hasten secularisation in both countries.

The Prodigy’s Initial Audience

When it comes to the band The Prodigy, it’s gone through quite a transformation. Starting out in rave before acquiring a more aggressive rock-inspired sound come Music For The Jilted Generation, then stuck with it ever since. Though there were nonravers who were into the Prodigy in some way, especially regarding the song ‘Charly’ which was sampled after a public service announcement animated series, most of the Prodigy’s early audience consisted of ravers. This shouldn’t come as a surprise that the very earliest Prodigy tracks and songs came from a rave background, though the Prodigy was also considered too mainstream for rave if it weren’t for ‘Charly’.

The late 1980s preference for rave came from a time when Margaret Thatcher was increasingly no longer the British prime minister at the time, she was the one who shut down some mines and contributed to certain ills people didn’t want to put up with any longer. This was also met by a need for a kind of escapism for those who came of age when Thatcher’s time as a prime minister drew to a close, so rave seemed to be one of the go-for answers to their problems. Partying away one’s sorrows that Thatcher was responsible for, don’t be surprised if Liam, Maxim, Leeroy, Sharky and Keith all felt the same way. The Second Summer of Love was a respite from all that Thatcherite politics in their formative years.

The first years of adulthood feels like something they could dip into, as they had something to do without much parental supervision this time. No surprise that many of the Prodigy’s initial fans felt the same way too, especially those who were into rave early on too. Early enough to catch the Prodigy’s rise, early enough to witness their roots in rave. The earliest Prodigy recordings encapsulate the end of the Thatcherite years, something some British young adults in their day would do by partying the night away in former warehouses and the like. True to form, the Prodigy refused to appear on Top of The Pops (a British programme involving music).

Probably it already knew it compromised its street cred by sampling audio from something meant for children, so it’s not something it didn’t want to do again despite gaining controversy with ‘Smack My B Up’ almost a decade later. (It could be said that SMBU was like a new Charly in this regard, one that didn’t endear the band to feminists this time.) Whilst the Prodigy would gain a newer, wider audience with rock lovers as the millennium drew closer, it’s also rooted in rave and likely still has some fans from its rave years. They’re the ones who really are intimated with the band’s early years, though some fell out of the band for reasons like selling out and so on.
