Party Like A Russian

Celestial recently put out a video about Russia getting larger by taking over all of Europe, but if I was honest about it I actually prayed to God to have Britain, Ireland and Canada ally more with Russia. If this comes to pass then all three countries will willingly join the new Soviet Union, but to avoid being bombed or attacked by Russia like what it will do to America. I kind of posed a question on Quora on what would happen if Canada allies more with Russia when America’s no longer a superpower, somebody else said that unpredictable effects will happen but some of it will concern the Arctic.

I even said somewhere on this blog that in the future when America ceases to be a superpower, Russia will gift Canada the entirety of Alaska which the latter will incorporate into one of its provinces. So inevitably Russian will become the lingua franca of Europe and a good portion of North America, though with America it will become a proper colony of Russia. The rest are going to be something like protectorates, the word she used to describe France’s future due to its slide into unbelief. Because I prayed for Canada, Ireland and Britain to ally more with Russia that all of them will end up as its protectorates too.

But that’s preferable to being made into a proper extension of Russia the way America will be getting, where she said that any nation that deserts God will be made subservient to its enemies. Sort of like what would happen to the Philippines if it continues to desert God under America’s influence that no sooner or later it will be humbled to China instead, especially as America will be weakened and destroyed (both from the outside and from within). The fact that she calls America Mystery Babylon suggests that this nation is in the Bible, but not in a way people would like or realise.

Dumitru Duduman was also told by God and an angel that America is Mystery Babylon and since America was something of a hyperpower, so it could be called a hyper-Babylon because of its ability to corrupt the entire world. Not just with porn and any objectionable entertainment, but also its questionable values and morals that make nations like the Philippines overly drunk on it. If God would allow America to be humiliated by its enemies, then he will do something similar to the Philippines as it’s too sympathetic to the US for its own good.

Whether if Filipinos like it or not, especially in the future that the Philippines will be made subservient to China due to its habit of following Mystery Babylon a lot. American influence will be erased in the Philippines, only to be replaced by Chinese influence in its entirety. If not China, then India but the outcome will be the same. Celestial said similar things about Mexico and Canada, not helped by that both of them share the same landmass as America does. Maybe subservient is not the best word to describe our fate, but as a consequence of loving Babylon more than God.

I have played a part in this where I prayed to God to cope with the Philippines becoming more sinicised in the future, that will really come to pass but as a way to undo American influence in the Philippines. As the Philippines is one of the East Asian countries with the largest Christian countries (next in line is South Korea), it shouldn’t be following America’s dark path and when it does God will do anything to revoke American influence here. The Philippines would have no other choice but to accept Chinese influence and if you will, become a Chinese tributary because it reaped what it sowed.

But I suppose becoming a new Vietnam is preferable to being utterly destroyed beyond recognition as what America will be getting, if I’m honest I feel the Philippines is too westernised for its own good and that America is spiritually corrupt. So American influence will be replaced by Chinese influence, no more Halloween, we’ll be getting Hungry Ghost Festival and Harvest Moon Festival instead. No more American literature, we’ll be getting Journey to the West and Dao De Jing. English will be spoken less often in the Philippines in the future, more of us will either learn Mandarin or Tagalog instead.

If America will be utterly humbled to its enemies, so will the Philippines but only to China because it follows America too much. Likewise Canada, Britain and Ireland will willingly come under Russian occupation, mostly to avoid being attacked like America will get. If this comes to pass and admittedly I got off-topic here, then this will only come about due to God’s will. If he could will Russia to take over the western world through political force and the like, he will really do this as a way to undo American influence in the west. Because America is spiritually corrupt, he’s going to undo its influence.

Its hegemony if you will, where westerners will be getting Russian hegemony instead. As if the duo Tatu is strangely ahead of its time because it had a string of international hits in the early 2000s, to the point where it will be rightfully seen as such when Russia becomes a superpower again. If God will make Russia proud of itself, it’s in line with the biblical verse where he will lift the humble and humble the proud. America is very proud, so it will be humbled to its enemies. Because Russia is humble, he will exalt it. Which I suppose if the gist of her prophecy, the more I think about it.

Or for another matter, China but extra as it didn’t have a big Christian population for a long time. So he’s going to exalt it in a way that even the Philippines will come to appreciate, the more America gets humiliated for its immense arrogance. Whether if it’s Britain and Canada allying more with Russia, a lot to become its satellites, or the Philippines becoming more sinicised with America getting destroyed that we have no other choice but accept alternatives.

I Just Called To Say I Hate You

Celestial was given a revelation by God where he said that there are other nations that hate America (or rather their leaders do), however in secret and are made to be pro-America against their will. If this is true and if it were to be applied to the Philippines, there were already Filipinos suspicious of America before. But I feel if America does fall as a superpower, that’s when more Filipinos will voice their distrust in and disdain for it. Even the president will admit to being goaded into supporting America, despite his actual feelings for other countries.

Celestial said that there are other countries that support America’s rivals, however in private, though it could become more open in the future. So it seems if America really isn’t that beloved anymore these days, that it’s actually Mystery Babylon in a way no other country qualifies then it’s going to reveal its true colours when it does. Even if one were to sing praises about a number of American exports, the majority of them come from a poisoned well due to Satanists and witches running the show. Then it seems whatever America exports is already tarnished.

Whatever America produces is mostly terrible, not just aesthetically terrible but also spiritually horrible. Even if there are some good things America produces, they are in the minority and they are fewer in number as time goes by. It’s not necessarily wrong to like some American things, but most of them aren’t good and don’t edify the soul. God would save a remnant, these will be the ones that will be remembered for long. But the rest will be forgotten to time as America itself becomes forgotten in the future.

Castle

Celestial said that the ten toes of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream is the same entity as the seven-headed, ten-horned monster in Revelation: they represent the ten new geopolitical regions that will follow the Beast System for a time being. The European Union is one of the earliest geopolitical regions to emerge, but I have a feeling others will appear as well. The Philippines might one day join China as part of Greater China, along with the other East Asian nations with China as the head of that union. Sort of like what Belgium is to the European Union, but where the United Kingdom joins again and both Switzerland and Norway will join in too.

There might be an emergence of a North American union styled after the European Union, with America (the soon to be declining superpower) as the corrupt figurehead of that region. This includes Mexico, Jamaica and Canada and two of them will be punished for following America’s lead a lot, so much so that Canada eventually becomes part of the Russian Union in the future. The Russian Union will swallow the European Union whole, then include all of Canada into it and would become the world’s largest economy in the future. At this point it’s the United States of America, but it will be no more by tomorrow. Whatever that means, America’s end is near.

Even if America were to become the head of this new geopolitical union, it would be a last-ditch effort at remaining a superpower with Canada defecting to the Russian Union at any point. Actually America itself will become a colony of Russia, with Canada as a Russian protectorate (which might be preferable in some way). If Canada does become a Russian protectorate, it’ll willingly become one to avoid being bombed by Russia like what it will do to its identical twin. Its mother and aunt, Britain and Ireland will become Russian protectorates as well, they could still have their own heads of state but are essentially subservient to Russia to some extent. But America will be no more, overshadowed by these regions.

They will get fewer in number but because Russia will absorb all of the European Union and Canada into its realm, the Soviet Union will be back but starting with Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and the others before the rest of the European Union and part of North America. It will last into the future and so will a few others like Greater China, which the Philippines will become a part of for long. Mexico, Jamaica and others will break away from the North American union and join the new Latin American and Caribbean union as headed by Brazil, as if the prophecy about the fallen and emerging kings will come true in some way.

New Order

As I said before from shadowing Celestial a lot that Russia might become a superpower again but for the third time around, if because Europe has backslided so much that becoming part of the new Russian/Soviet Union will be its comeuppance. Canada will also fall into this too, becoming Russia’s westernmost protectorate. This would be preferable to being part of Russia proper, which will befall America because it is Mystery Babylon. She said that America will become a Russian colony while France, Belgium and others will become Russian protectorates, in the sense that they still have their rulers but under Russian governance.

Then comes the cultural outcome of Russian influence and sovereignty over all of Europe and a good portion of North America where Russian will become the lingua franca, European and Canadian cultures will be Russified to the extent that exists for as long as Russia is a superpower. America will really fall down as a superpower due to its pride and other sins, that its influence will be undone the world over. Nobody’s going to remember what it was like as a superpower, not even pensioners (today’s Millennials and Genzers). What will really be forgotten to time are the bad things America has wrought onto the whole world, that no sooner or later when America falls these will be forgotten.

Celestial said that America will be forgotten to time the same way Atlantis is, one way America will be forgotten is when God undoes American influence. Another is when America itself becomes progressively unrecognisable from its current state, both physiogeographically, geopolitically and culturally that people will find it hard to believe that an America ever existed. A very generous interpretation is that America wouldn’t be entirely forgotten, however the ones that will be remembered are the good ones. The only problem is the good stuff America exports is surprisingly very few in number, always outnumbered and always outgunned by the bad.

America will find itself invaded by Russia and China, its natural resources will be exploited by these two and its people will be enslaved and sent to live elsewhere to work. Its women will be stripped against their will, made to do sex acts that they themselves don’t enjoy and consent to. I remember this video by her where she says that Americans will be segregated based on not only age and gender, but also physical build where the huskier ones do physical labour and the skinnier ones do housework. That even children will be enslaved is perhaps one of the most disturbing comeuppances that America will ever get in the future.

As for the Philippines where I live in, by the time America declines as a superpower we’d surprisingly forgo it in favour of China and other East Asian countries. That’s something that I prayed for, because I feel it’s too westernised for its own good. But since it’s in the will of God to get rid of America when he sees fit, that the Philippines becoming more sinicised fits well into his plan because he doesn’t want it to end up like America. America being the one that he’s going to punish the harshest for backsliding and becoming so apostate as to become an abomination in his eyes, so it is befitting that it is the most realistic candidate for what Mystery Babylon embodies.

Likewise Canada allying more with Russia does the same thing too since it’s God’s plan to get rid of America, that its allies will have no other choice but to turn to its enemies and rivals more. America is no friend of God, despite its Christian pretensions. Canada would have to warm up to Russia more as America turns out to be Mystery Babylon, all the more a reason for its twin sibling to not follow it any longer. Britain and Ireland would better accept Russia and follow it more for this same reason, America is spiritually and morally corrupt. It has descended too far into abomination and spiritual desolation, that it will become physiogeographically desolate as well.

Ghost towns everywhere, cities will disappear into the seas and oceans. Who will find New York City when much of it has drowned, who will find Florida when it’s no more? While it’s possible for American influences to linger in Canada, it too will be undone more quickly and deeply than I’d have expected. Everything Russian will be popularised in Canada, the more it allies with Russia in the coming years. It will even consent to becoming a Russian protectorate, following Ireland and Britain as to avoid being bombed by Mother Russia. Also Russia will give Alaska to Canada, so by then Alaska will become Canadian territory when this happens.

Since Alaska’s this close to Canada, it’s more convenient and easier this way than it would be for the contiguous United States which is south of Canada. Let’s not also forget that Alaska was part of Russia proper, so Russian used to be spoken there as well. That Hawaii was once its own country and kingdom so if China were to incorporate it into Greater China, the new geopolitical region/zone compromising all of East Asia and Pacific islands, it could be given greater autonomy over itself when America ceases to be a superpower this year. So it seems China doesn’t seem so bad after all, since it actually does things that are right.

America, despite its charismatic appeal to Filipinos, is spiritually hopeless as Mystery Babylon. Nobody’s going to mourn America’s passing, not even Filipinos and we’re going to forget it in the future. Not only that but Philippine English would become more similar to Nigerian and Malaysian English over time, if not Filipino and Mandarin become far more popular here. Anything American will be passe and forgotten to time, one will wonder if America was ever really a thing. Even in Canada where despite its cultural and geographical proximity to America, anything American will be mostly forgotten over time that later Canadians will barely ever acknowledge its existence.

A footnote in history, an afterthought in geopolitics. There will be very few good things America has brought onto others, they will be remembered for long but they’re so few to begin with. Most of what America exports is bad, even Disney because it’s tainted by witchcraft. Likewise Nickelodeon has been rocked by child abuse scandals due to a new documentary series called ‘Quiet on Set’, that Hollywood is truly run by evil people as what Caroline Diadem pointed out. That Hollywood will be rocked by an earthquake is karma for its evil influence, not to mention it’s been pointed out that Beyonce does witchcraft.

She too will be taken out, nobody will remember her in the future. They’ll do the same with other spiritually bad musicians like Taylor Swift and the Backstreet Boys, the latter where in a few weeks time will appear as demons onstage in Mexico and then get rocked by sexual scandals. Then they’ll drown in the sea, never to be seen again by people. Nobody will say goodbye to America, they’ll forget about it. America will be no more when this happens.

Falling Down

Celestial said that although all nations will be judged, America will be judged the harshest because it’s Mystery Babylon and always squanders opportunities to do better. I also think this is the same reason why its influence over the whole world will ultimately be undone, perhaps far more quickly than one realises since it’s really up to no good. It is the land that lives beyond the rivers of Cush, which means that it is far away from Africa. North America is the continent that’s far away from Africa, whereas Europe is closer to it in some way. So it makes sense for this new Babylon to be far from both Egypt and Ethiopia, it can’t be Morocco as it’s nowhere as influential as America will be.

America is not the good guy its people make it out to be, which becomes clearer what a bad influence it really is. If Halloween’s stated to be a Satanic celebration, then it too will be undone and replaced with something else. It could be Harvest Moon Festival here in the Philippines once the ber months emerge, we could get our spooky fix from the Hungry Ghost Festival when our country gets heavily sinicised for good. Another bad influence it set onto others would be the Playboy magazine, there was a time in America where pornography’s illegal. But this magazine opened the doors for such filth whenever it got exported, that is one way America has lost its way.

But an earlier precedent could be found in more unexpected places, that of Appalachian astrology which was brought over to America by German immigrants. So if God will undo a lot of American influence here in the Philippines and replace it with a heavier Chinese influence, he will really do it and it will be something no Filipino will be able to stop. They will not see it coming but it will really happen, no more Halloween we get both Hungry Ghost Festival and Harvest Moon Festival instead. No more American brands being exported here, we get more Chinese exports instead and we will even learn Chinese to better be in touch with China.

As for America’s neighbour and identical twin Canada, it too will be judged for following America’s lead but not as harshly. At any point in the future it will ally more with Russia where it doesn’t just develop bilateral relations with it, but also willingly become another Russian protectorate along with Britain and Ireland. Russian influence will be deeply felt in these countries, so much so that I can imagine Russian music will also be played over there as well. Canada will even become Russia’s westernmost protectorate when it willingly joins the Russian Union, as Celestial prophesied that the Soviet Union will be back and bigger than ever.

Canada joining the new Soviet Union will make it bigger, if it does join it at all in the foreseeable future. Which only proves her point and prophecy right in some way, given I played my part in here when I prayed for Canada, Britain and Ireland to ally more with Russia in the future when America’s no longer a superpower. America will no longer be a superpower in the very near future, the more it’s really Mystery Babylon the more its influence will be undone.

Against The Wind

Celestial said that America will undergo a financial collapse in the future, something another person agreed in a vision given to her by the Lord. That Americans make idols out of money and anything materialistic is literally them serving Mammon, they can’t serve Mammon and God at the same time so it’s either one or the other. But he’s also very jealous so we must love him with all our hearts or something, something that I struggle with at times in trying to do what’s right. If the US economy does collapse this year and this month or sometime between it and March, then its decline from grace will really show.

Companies will either go into administration/become bankrupt or get bought by other companies to keep them around longer, this is also where other countries’ economies and especially those of America’s rivals will rise exponentially. When America fails real badly this time around, this is when its own allies will turn to other countries instead. The Philippines will turn to China more and become sinicised over time, essentially erasing almost any trace of American influence. Canada will turn to Russia more, to the point of willingly becoming another Russian protectorate alongside Britain and Ireland.

As for the other nations, Celestial prophesised that they will have substantial Christian populations and revivals of sorts, especially as symbolised by lush and growing forests as symbolic of their growing faith in God. That there will be more Christians to come in the nonwestern world, not just in Africa but also in East Asia where there’ll be an outpouring of faith there. There will more Christians in East Asia than in Europe and North America, especially practising Christians at that. A kind of role reversal considering that Europe was the epicentre of Christianity for a long time.

If America were to undergo an economic decline this year and between this month and March, it will also lead to a growing civil war aimed at presidents and presidential hopefuls because of their anger at them and rival parties. It will be so violent that there will be bloodshed, any weapon being used against their rivals and so on.

Mo Money, Mo Problems

Celestial had this prophecy about America losing to both Russia and China, that nations find trade places socioeconomically speaking and America will no longer export merchandise anywhere else. Well not in any way it likes and even if it does, it’s not going to be popular with a lot of people anymore. At this point America is the richest and most popular country in the world, but this is about to change in the future as God will punish it for its many sins. It could even come sooner than expected, should it go into administration within a few months and a civil war later on.

The fact that she said that all of the western European countries will become Russian territory as a punishment for their backsliding makes you think if they reap what they sow, then that’s what they’ll get as a whole when it comes to their peoples. While it’s true God does spare a handful of those who’re loyal to him, most Europeans and North Americans have backslidden over the years losing sight of him. So that’s why they’ve gotten worldlier, even if the problems were there before they didn’t proliferate out in the open until now. Sort of like how homosexuality used to be classified as a mental illness, but more recently got legitimised as a sexual orientation.

Or how secularism and godlessness rose in Europe and North America over the years, that no sooner or later God will do something about their situation though not in ways people expect nor like. Let’s not forget that it’s been years since her prophecy got published, China’s Tiktok (Douyin) has become quite popular all over the world. Its other app, WeChat, has gotten quite big over the years that it paved the way for other superapps and one that got Elon Musk into finding a way to emulate it. It seems the more America slips from grace, the more her prophecy turns out to be true in some way.

For a while in the 20th century up to the first score of the 21st century, America was the leading innovator in not only the arts but also science and technology. Maybe not the sole leading innovator, but the biggest one at that. However as soon as both Russia and China rise to power, that’s when America starts slipping and sliding down. Maybe not immediately but something that gets more obvious as time passes, it’s also likely that should a civil war happen again in America in years some American companies will be canny enough to leave in safety. Sometimes ahead of time.

But it seems if some American companies do move elsewhere like head north to Canada for safety, then America will lose some of the things that made it a superpower in both science, arts and technology. Especially when it comes to corporations moving elsewhere for safety, should civil war happen again in America at any point. Quite surprisingly and for some reason, many of the corporations that remain will invest in their own armies to kill Christians on target. This will happen when Barack Obama becomes US president the third time, after Kamala Harris which she gets killed like Donald Trump.

Trump will be shot in the head this year, the more he tries to get a second term. Nobody can revive him, not even prayer as he’s been their idol for so long. This leads to a profound civil war on American soil not seen in years that American individuals, organisations and companies will move elsewhere for safety. At least some of them do, especially Christian ones at that. They will begin revivals in Canada, Jamaica and Mexico whereas whatever revival America had will be its last, the more it gets punished for its sins for being Mystery Babylon.

Even if US companies still manage to churn profits, much of their products will not be exported elsewhere. Especially the ones that don’t move anywhere else, so they will find ways to make money when they can’t export their products. Sometimes in ways people don’t even like, won’t even like and something that would be unthinkable by now. While this would be mitigated to some extent if some companies have branches elsewhere, let alone those that aren’t dependent on the trade of physical goods/merchandise but some will still find unethical ways of getting them sold.

I also think this would be the time when countries like Canada and the Philippines start warming up to Russia and China, especially as trade partners at first due to the loss of America in some way that they’re left with the most viable substitutes. As I said before, companies that have divisions that aren’t dependent on physical goods would still go on well enough but those that don’t have those will find unethical ways to sell goods when they can’t export them anywhere else anymore. They won’t just learn to rely a lot more on themselves, but also unexpected powers having their backs.

Disney might bypass this to some extent through streaming, who knows if it’ll succeed in getting people’s attention in any way it likes or wants. The radio division will do fine for awhile, but its consumer products division will suffer badly. It seems if Disney fails to export its consumer products elsewhere, while it technically has something else going on for it but eventually life finds a way. But if her prophecy about products being no longer exported were to come to pass, perhaps this will really signal America’s fall from grace in addition to a declining economy.

Nothing will remain the same ever again.

Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Celestial has a prophecy about America’s downfall, how it will shock the whole world when it happens as well as the emergence of 10 superpowers in the future. The thing is that there were multiple superpowers in the world before, these consisted of countries like China, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Britain, Turkey, Russia and Portugal before. So that’s eight superpowers all in all, though I’m unsure how would something with 10 superpowers in the world work out. There might be other emerging superpowers in the future, including some unexpected ones at that.

Let’s not forget that India itself used to be something of a superpower, influencing countries that would come to be known as the Philippines and Indonesia respectively. Africa was home to many empires, be it the Hausa Empire, the Akan Empire and of course Egypt. If Nigeria does become a superpower itself, then it would be the first time in years that we get to see an African superpower rise in real time. One might only wonder if Turkey might rise again as an empire of sorts, influencing those in the immediate Near East. Or for another matter, we could have Brazil come out on top and become a superpower itself.

One would only wonder what country will become a superpower in the Oceanian region, if there are ever going to be 10 kings as prophesised in the Bible. If Russia, Turkey, India, Nigeria, Brazil and China become superpowers then that’s a total of six empires, the other four have yet to emerge and others in ways that will shock others. I have a nagging feeling that the Antichrist will rule over Israel first then take over Italy and the rest of the world, so this could be the seventh superpower to emerge. These ten kings rule over seven countries, or rather seven empires since the Antichrist will rule alongside an Antipope and an Antimary.

Then we get to America’s economic fall from grace, where it shocks and rocks the entire world. Journalists from around the world will talk a lot about America’s downfall, so much so it fills an entire series of it on websites like the BBC, CBC, Al Jazeera and many more. I even think in those days American goods will stop being exported elsewhere, so much so that the countries either learn to be more self-reliant or rely on former enemies to make it up for it. Canada could come closer to Russia, the Philippines to China and nothing will be the same ever again.

These two will even willingly join their new masters, if the latter were to form unions of sorts. China might form the East Asian Union which the Philippines joins immediately, likewise Canada willingly becomes part of the renewed Soviet Union. Supposing if the Philippines does become more sinicised once America falls from grace, then it could be a good thing because it’s too westernised for its own good. That’s the future that I want for my country, something to actually cut off from the western world and reconcile itself to its neighbours and particularly China.

Then comes Barack Obama having a third presidential term, where he starts oppressing Christians for real in America. The seeds were there before but this will really become official when he does become US president again, the Christians who have left America for Canada and Mexico will be the lucky ones. They can continue their ministries and the like in safety, where these two countries will have revivals of sorts and proliferate in ways they don’t expect. America was something of a hotbed of Christianity before, it was the nation that begat Pentecostalism I think.

But the more it never repents of its sins, the worse it got to the point where it will officially persecute Christians in the future. America’s downfall is on the horizon and it will happen in ways people don’t expect and anticipate, it could be a big spiritual downfall but one that’s been looming for years then we get to a real socioeconomic and political downfall. America will probably be remembered as a example of what Christian nations shouldn’t be doing, if it does deserve to be remembered for years to come. No Christian country should be following America’s dark path, so this is why its downfall will come faster than expected.

All-American Alien

I pointed out somewhere why Canada doesn’t seem to have that many well-known patriotic/nationalist superheroes the way America does, characters like Captain Canuck and Northguard have come close but still don’t epitomise Canadiana the way Superman and Captain America do with Americana. While it’s true both Canada and America attract a lot of immigrants, but the American dream is a more salient concept in a way the Canadian equivalent wouldn’t be. The American dream involves making it big elsewhere, especially when moving to America where one would be a small fish in a big lake back in the old world.

Even if one of Superman’s creators is Canadian, he came to live in America eventually. I don’t think there’s ever any well-known Canadian superhero that’s really an alien the way Superman is, I actually I don’t think there’s any in Canadian superhero comics at all and that’s saying. Captain Canuck is more mundane, he’s just a Metis man just as Northguard is Jewish. Superman has been assumed to be Jewish by the way of his creators, but he also epitomises the American dream. He is an immigrant who made it big in the United States, compared to his doomed life in Krypton.

While there certainly are superheroes in Canadian comics who are probably scions of immigrants themselves, yet not a single one of them is stated to be extraterrestrial the way Superman is. Or for another matter, Martian Manhunter and Starfire and both of them are aliens who made America their home as well. Even Marvel’s Carol Danvers is part alien herself, no such equivalent exists in Canadian superhero comics, well not in any way that I know of. There’s really no Canadian Superman to speak of.

That’s not to say there aren’t any Canadian superheroes, but there’s really no well-known Canadian superhero that epitomises Americana and the American dream the way Superman does for America. The Pitiful Human Lizard may be one character closely associated with Toronto, but he himself isn’t that well-known so he’s never going to be a real equivalent to what Spider-Man is to the Bronx even if he inspired the former. There’s no Canadian equivalent to Marvel’s close association with New York, even if Canadians have succeeded in creating a shared universe and even then it took them a long time to do it.

The only other superheroes to be closely associated with any Canadian locale are Fleur de Lys and Kebec, that’s just them and The Pitiful Human Lizard whereas Marvel has a wealth of superheroes associated with New York. Let’s not forget that Gotham is a popular nickname for New York, so in a way Batman is also associated with New York. The main difference between Batman and the Pitiful Human Lizard is that Batman is a globally recognised character, so with both Batman and Marvel in general there’s a tendency to mythologise New York City just as Superman does for the Midwest.

Neither Human Lizard nor Fleur de Lys are mythologisations of their respective locales, even if Canadian superheroes can and do work to some extent I don’t think Canada mythologises itself to the same extent America does. Add lack of a recognisable Canadian dream and you’d get why it’s so hard coming up with a well-known patriotic Canadian superhero. This may not always be the case for other countries, even if both Britain and Ireland have the same problem as Canada does but it does explain why America has this strong desire to mythologise itself.

It becomes blatant when it comes to the way Batman’s Gotham approximates New York, how Marvel characters live in a fantastical version of New York and why Superman’s associated with the American heartland while Fleur de Lys just comes from Quebec.

Forgetting You

It’s been prophesised by Celestial that America will be forgotten to time, but I think there are other ways America will be made unrecognisable and nearly forgotten by many. Not just in being physically destroyed but also having some of its land given to its neighbours and enemies, Mexico might get back the land it sold to America and Canada will get Alaska via Russia. China will definitely get Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa and Northern Mariana islands while Jamaica, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands not only become independent but form a Caribbean union of sorts.

American influence will be forgotten to time, save for some artefacts and legacies. Not a lot of people will remember American programmes in the 2040s, this would’ve been already overshadowed by either Chinese programmes in Asia-Pacific or Russian programmes in Europe and Canada by then. Whatever happens will happen, American pop culture will not be remembered by many. Those who do remember are going to be old people and this will decline with each subsequent generation, I think kids growing up in the 2030s will barely ever recognise what a ‘Big Bang Theory’ show was like.

In fact they might not recognise it at all as they’d be busy watching Russian and Chinese programmes instead, in fact due to Russian and Chinese influences both Canadian and Philippine entertainment will come to resemble those they’ve been influenced by. Especially if both Russia and China actually rise to dominance for good, so much so that American influence would’ve been undone by then. Due to Canada’s future alliance with Russia as a protectorate, it would be amusing that some of the Anglophone Russian entertainment that gets exported elsewhere may’ve been made in Canada (as well as Ireland and Britain if they too become Russian protectorates themselves).

America has already used Canada as a dumping ground for many of its film and telly productions, it wouldn’t be any different if Russia also did this to Canada someday in the future. At least with some Canadian locales and places, with Alaska becoming Canadian territory that Canada might find itself coming closer to Russia. In fact, physiogeographically closer this way. While American influence wouldn’t entirely go away in Canada, given both its geographical and cultural proximity to the United States it could decline over time due to Russia exerting both hard and soft power over there. A Russified Canada would be kind of unthinkable in this day and age, even if it’s doable and likely in the future.

America’s fall from grace would hasten this process, I feel with America being no longer a superpower could become a blessing in disguise. To anybody who’s fed up with American entertainment and the like, America’s decline would let in substitutes doing their job well. The fact that America is Mystery Babylon makes you wonder about where would America’s legacy be if it were to become mostly forgotten, especially by the young and inexperienced in the future. America’s decline would be hastened by a civil war, WWIII and a possible economic meltdown a few months from now, so severe it never goes back to where it was.

Some companies might take a turn for the worse, killing any Christian they see on American soil. The Christians who’ve left America will leave America for other countries, be it its neighbours like Canada and Mexico or somewhere else altogether like Ghana for instance. But they will be the lucky ones, the ones who will find refuge elsewhere. They will start things anew, continue their ministries and websites there and start revivals wherever they go. Unfortunately in America, the latest revival will be its last. The more it turns out to be Mystery Babylon, the more it’s really up to no good.
