Anything Goes

Celestial had a prophecy where people will seemingly succeed at creating a utopia all over the world, but it will cover up the depravity they will do in reality. Whether if it’s a spike in sexual immorality where monogamy’s no longer seen as fashionable and where even BDSM would now be considered vanilla, so sexualised violence goes up as a way to spice up sex lives. The more violence is incorporated in sex, the better (or worse as it really is) to make it ‘spicier’ or something. People will do anything to cosmetically improve themselves, but ignore their spiritual well-being in doing so. Then they’ll finally and really have sex with demons.

That’s on top with biotechnological advancements where people turn to those to get the child they’ve always wanted, when they could’ve turned to God for the same thing really. Like they don’t really trust what God can do, as if they think he’s no good (this is something that I strugge with). Christianity will become more and more globally despised in this new utopia, which results in a war and outright persecution aimed at them but most especially in America where it’s prophesised to be the real Mystery Babylon. Meanwhile in the rest of the western world, it become merely passe but this is what brings about their downfall given their Christian pasts.

The Beast, as she found out, is really the understudy for the Antichrist who will be much worse than him. Furthering the plot is that the Beast really is Barack Obama, who will rise to power again and turn America into a dictatorship. Maybe dictatorship isn’t the right word to describe this, but it will be an America where a lot more Christians are persecuted than it would be today. In an ironic twist of fate, it would be China and Vietnam that will house a lot of Christians and show kindness to those who’re being persecuted. They’ll do anything to lure in those Christians into coming over there, now that America has become a real spiritual cesspool.

If Satan does have a short time in the world, then he’ll do anything to make the most of it. Worst of all is how he’ll find a way to parody or mock the Virgin Birth, that’s by taking advantage of some woman to get impregnated by some man and then possess her child. This is something that Saint Hildegard prophesised, especially with regards to the Antimary keeping her baby a secret but people will love her and believe that she’s a virgin. The Antichrist would pretty much be the Beast squared and he’ll really persecute any Christian he’ll find, especially those who are left behind. Those who get raptured are the lucky ones.

They are the ones who’ll be spared from his attacks on the church, if because they’ll be taken to Heaven as a way to keep them safe from him. Maybe it is really is a case of a fate worse than death, especially when the Antichrist hunts down people. Now that’s something people should be leery of, the more the Devil finds a way into their lives to ruin them with. Perhaps the worst is yet to come as the end times goes, but something to keep a close eye on if new developments were to arise.

Sans contrefaçon

Celestial had this vision about the transgender community, with regards to trans women in particular where they’d do anything to conceal their actual gender. Their assigned gender at birth per their wording, but their true gender according to God. My understanding of why some people become transgender, due to my own experience with gender dysphoria, is that they don’t like what their bodies are becoming or what they turned into.

So taking surgery and hormone therapy is their way of either stopping this or undoing this if they transitioned at a later age, so much so that my apparent fascination with trans men has less to do with fetishisation and more to do with relatability. But the fact that they transitioned makes me think they lead the lives I could have had, had my late mother been more ‘encouraging’ and ‘supportive’ of me turning into a boy because I didn’t like what my body was turning into.

However as what God told her that the whole transgender thing/sentiment is a parody of the way he made genders to be: male and female, despite arguments for more genders when it comes to intersex conditions. But even then not all intersex people necessarily see themselves as of another gender, for some they just see themselves as female but with a certain medical condition.

Intersex is something they ended up with due to a mutation, whereas being transgender involves deliberation. As far as I understand those to be, one occurs in nature and the other’s achievable through technology. Especially advancements in medical technology where it’s not enough to have phalloplasty and vaginoplasty, but also take hormone therapy to resemble the genders they want to be. That’s why the transgender community’s the way it is.

They want to be another gender instead of ending up as another gender due to a genetic mutation as it is with the intersex community, while I do believe God is more nuanced than one realises but the transgender phenomenon is something that can only be achieved through advancements in surgery and hormone therapy. It is something else altogether that goes against what God intended humans to be. Admittedly some of the examples I’m giving out is a stretch.

It’s like wanting to have paler skin when you have dark skin or vice versa, you could change to some extent but that’s the full extent of what you can do especially with something like tanning. The transgender community is sort of like this in that they want to be another gender, or with those who are nonbinary where they want to do away gender altogether. Even if they still have telltale signs of it such as menstruation if ‘assigned’ female, or an Adam’s apple is ‘assigned’ male.

They really can’t hide or undo the genders they are intended to be, if because they can’t fool God no matter how hard they try. They just can’t despite their best efforts at fooling him around when they do, the best they can is to ask forgiveness from him and stop as much as they can. It would be all the more frightening if they think they’ve come close to fooling him around, when they figure out a way to male biological males pregnant and without carrying parasitic twins to boot.

I suppose the pregnant men Celestial was referring to when she was given the prophecy by God might in fact be trans women, especially if technological advancements make it possible for them to give birth. Or at least appear to be when it comes to something like ectogenesis, or carrying a baby to term when the womb’s outside of the mother. They did this with goats before, I think and they’ll do this with human babies. Trans women will get the babies they’ve always wanted, but this is an affront to the Lord.

Intersex women who want children will be exempt from this, since it’s something they ended up as due to a medical condition. Ectogenesis will be a real game changer when it comes to childbearing and reproduction, if because it wouldn’t just liberate childbirth from sex (which is the actual intention for most of the part) but also give trans women the children they’ve always wanted. Because they’re so bent on giving birth like real women do, that they’ll do anything to be like them.

Womb envy is real in this regard and likewise penis envy for trans men, looks like Sigmund Freud was onto something but not in ways he himself would’ve expected. The transgender community is one such powerful lobby that it got the world bent to its knees, it will always figure out ways of getting what it wants no matter how ridiculous or convoluted it is. You have things like pregnant men being a thing when it comes to trans men, even though this is a telltale sign that they are actually female.

Let’s not forget that both sex and gender historically and semantically overlapped, even if the latter (at least in some languages) also encompasses different storytelling schools. That’s why we have things like sexism when it comes to the lack of gender equity/gender equality, but not genderism so the other definition of sex being what we call gender isn’t entirely lost. Transgender individuals were historically known as transsexuals, that bisexual used to mean bigender is saying.

Pardon if it may trigger more sensitive individuals, but it’s important to know where we got here. How sex and gender used to be synonyms for one another to a large extent, especially when it comes to words like sexism and the like. No doubt words and their meanings do change over time, but it’s important to note that gender affirming surgery was known as sex change operation. That’s the original word and wording to describe this.

The way the LGBT community defines gender and sex is kind of convoluted, in that the other definition of sex is what gender largely used to mean and that gender now means something like one’s gender identity or something like that. It’s like they’re lying about something in that they know what the other definition of sex is like, but at the same time try to convince others that trans men are men and trans women are women even when they’re not.

It takes immense mental gymnastics to get to where the transgender community is at, but God sees it all and sees them for the liars they really are. You can’t fool God, no matter how hard you try. Lest you suffer the consequences of your actions, if it’s bad enough as I realised from experience.

The Monster

Celestial had a few posts about the coming of human-animal hybrids, where they’ll be used as weapons of some sort. She pointed out about the coming of human-pig chimeras, given pigs are commonly used in science and medicine as a proxy for humans. So much so that pig implants are oftentimes compatible with human bodies, but successfully creating a pig-human chimera is another ballpark altogether. That American scientists will experiment on animals (even ducks) to make them talk like humans is pretty frightening, even if there’s already an Australian duck species that does that without their tinkering.

They are playing God because they don’t trust and respect God, if God is the one who created humans and animals then they really don’t respect his action of creation and care for life at all. There is a Bible verse somewhere stating that humans are wise and good if they take care of their animals, that God will use any animal to either help humans such as ravens feeding Elijah, teach humans about something when he made a donkey talk or act as comeuppance whenever humans sin such as the time Jezebel got eaten alive by dogs is something only he can do.

Celestial had other prophecies but concerning artificially grown humans where she said that they’ll not go to Heaven because the way they’re made is an affront to the Lord, if humans are created in his image then they’re not going to Heaven at all despite their good actions. Only God knows the heart, true thoughts and intentions of people. Another person at another website had a prophecy of both humans (especially Christians) and dogs going to Heaven suggest that God will spare a remnant from something worse, though I think this would also apply to any other animal like cats for instance.

Somebody commented somewhere on YouTube that they had a vision of a tiger in Heaven, so animals go to Heaven because even if they seemingly do bad things they don’t really sin the way humans do so they go there immediately. So human-animal chimeras are never going to Heaven because they too are abominations in the eyes of the Lord, only he can create life and recreate it if you ask him to. The emergence of human-animal hybrids, especially in warfare, would be frightening to behold that biotechnology would be advanced enough to allow these things to happen.

That Americans will lose their sense of bioethics when they create them will certainly anger animal rights activists and the like.

Monster Mash

Celestial had a prophecy where America genetically engineers future soldiers to be chimeras of humans and nonhuman animals, chimeras are pretty much organisms that contain two different sets of DNA. Though they do occur in nature and if God created nature, then he could also create chimeras if he wanted to. But this is not your ordinary chimera, these are ones deliberately created by biotechnology for military purposes. They are living weapons of mass destruction, one engineered by technological advancements. If it’s not enough to enhance pure human beings, then finding ways of mixing human and animal DNA would.

She mentions soldiers that are human-dog chimeras, human-wolf chimeras, human-cat chimeras and human-pig chimeras but these are not the only ones around, I think there could be more of them constructed from both human and non-carnivore, non-porcine DNA with the same purpose. Whereas ordinary organisations and institutions would use humans trained in espionage equipped with the right technology to aid them, the US will engineer human-mustelid chimeras to do the job and I think this would be really horrifying to see an actual human-animal hybrid come into being. Or at least the closest thing to it as they are chimeras, but it’s generally the same thing in some regards.

While artists have always dreamt of different ways of creating human-animal hybrids, be it kemonomimis (anatomically human with the bare minimum of nonhuman animal traits) or anthropomorphism the way furries do it, the emergence of human-animal chimeras as used by the US military will be the first time people will see actual human-animal hybrids in the flesh. I have no idea what they would actually look like, as the technology has yet to emerge let alone in the form Celestial is describing. But it would no longer be the realm of flight of fancy when a human-animal chimera does come to fruition.

The way I think it would be played out in the future, the US army will deploy human-canid chimeras for tracking, human-felid chimeras for stealth, human-bear chimeras for sheer carnage and so on. It’s as if the prophecy about Mystery Babylon being surrounded by detestable, monstrous birds is true in some way that some of those chimeras are human-bird chimeras. I think they’d be really frightening to behold if they ever become a thing in the future, albeit not in ways artists have ever imagined even if they come close at various points. It wouldn’t be science fiction anymore, when this ever becomes science fact.

The odd possibility of America ever deploying those in warfare, especially against its enemies is frightening to consider. Especially given the way America repeatedly defies God, tries to play him when it wants something done and so on that it’s really going to be either wiped out or forgotten in due time. I have no idea what these human-animal chimeras would actually look like if they really do exist in real life, since Celestial said that they might already be a reality but they’re hidden from public view. It would be like the Island of Doctor Moreau where the titular character grafts human traits onto animals, except this would be genetically engineered.

They wouldn’t be people in animal costumes either, I think they might really look frightening and unusual if somebody ever photographed them. But they will be revealed in due time, especially as America finds a way to try to remain a superpower longer when it’s going to fend itself from its enemies.

Hey Bird Dog, Get Away From My Quail

According to Celestial regarding one of her dreams, dogs to God represent fallenness, rejection and reproach. Essentially almost whatever that is forbidden and abhorred by the Lord, not helped by that literal dogs are now regarded as the third worst invasive species after cats and rats. This is what I got from listening to a sermon on YouTube about the topic of ‘beware of dogs’ and this was got brought up in some way, in which whatever the Bible says about something turn out to be true. Well in some way or another in this case, though that doesn’t mean positive portrayals of dogs don’t exist in the Bible.

It is however rare and often in the context of either shepherding (Job), comeuppance (what Jezebel got), helping those in need (what Jesus said regarding poor people going to Heaven) and also in the apocryphal Book of Tobit. This also gets played out within the wider scope of Christianity, there are uses for dogs in Christian monasteries. Among those are guarding, hunting vermin (as it is in Arizona, USA) and helping the blind. There are some Christian saints associated with dogs, though it’s possible the thing with Jezebel is a matter of God using the wicked to punish the wicked. Dogs are one of those in this regard.

Then there is the association with dogs with witchcraft, as it is with some folk demonologies whether in early modern France or contemporary Ghana. It doesn’t help when there’s a Bible verse that mentions dogs together with witches (though this is helped by a sermon that I listened to before), that it seems dogs will usually be portrayed in a suspicious manner throughout the Bible and to some extent, Christianity as a whole given they’re seen as unclean in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Extended fertility and long lives

There’s actually a study online linking extended fertility in women to extended lives in people in general, this would have very interesting implications for Biblical characters when you think about it. A good number of Old Testament characters, especially the earlier ones at that, led very long lives. Ones that extend over centuries, if the Bible’s believed to be true then such studies confirm it in some way. No doubt that both Abraham and Sarah have to be wait long to get their son, but it’s also possible it’s not that Sarah was barren the whole time. Rather she had a series of chemical pregnancies (really premature miscarriages) and had to wait longer to get her miracle, so she eventually did in the form of Isaac and likewise Janet Jackson didn’t get her first child until she was in her fifties!

Let’s not forget that Janet Jackson’s mother was born in the early thirties, so by now she’s in her nineties and her own husband was born a few years earlier lived to be in his late eighties. If most Americans are expected to live up to their late seventies, then both of them lucked out as they manage to live beyond that. This would’ve been true for several Old Testament characters, not to mention later menopause is linked to greater longevity. I have a grandmother who manages to live to her nineties, I have other relatives who lived up to their eighties and average Filipino expectancy is usually up to the early seventies. So there really is a link between longevity and prolonged fertility, even if others don’t luck out for whatever reason.

If Biblical characters really did lead long lives, really long ones at that, then they still managed to luck out when begetting children in their seventies, sixties and fifties.

The more practical analogy

I still feel it bears repeating that since both palm civets and dogs are domesticated in East Asia, that their trajectories are going to be similar in ways comparing dogs to ducks wouldn’t do. It’s been speculated that dogs may have started out as vermin at some point, well so were palm civets when it comes to eating coffee berries. Palm civets were eventually given a chance, if because their faeces proved to be valuable when it comes to cultivating coffee beans. The same beans that get grounded into coffee for consumption when dried, this isn’t an exact comparison but then both of them are domesticated in East Asia.

So the comparison to palm civets may hold much better than the comparison to ducks, since ducks to my knowledge were never regarded as vermin at any point in their history. To go a little further with the civet comparison, dogs were historically regarded as vermin until it turned out that they’re useful for guarding and hunting vermin as evidenced by some surviving artefacts in China. Countries like Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines still use dogs for pest control, enough to give you an idea of one of the things they eventually got used for. For a time in China this was also the same thing, given cats have yet to reach Chinese shores and soil.

It’s not an exact analogy but it’s the most practical of them all, since this takes place in East Asia where it’s the same place where civets are currently domesticated there. But that would mean this region played a bigger role in dog domestication than is commonly assumed, that’s if dogs were first domesticated there that some of the earliest uses for them (such as pest control) may have persisted after the start of written history and still is so in some East Asian countries. Surely dogs weren’t used to hunt mammoths in ancient East Asia, in fact they were most likely used for hunting smaller game like rodents.

To the point where the latter may have not only been prehistoric, but also one of the earliest practical uses for dogs. That dogs played a part in some Chinese agrarian folktales suggests that the canine switch to digesting starches more readily may have also occurred in East Asia* as well, if oral traditions turn out to be rooted in historical fact. One way or another, East Asia played a far bigger role in dog domestication than one realises.

*This would roughly coincide with the rise of modern East Asians.

Mad World

Since the Bible speaks about being in the world, but not of the world that in some regards Christianity is a pretty countercultural religion especially in this day and age. The Bible tends to be either negative or mixed about what the world celebrates, until you realise why Biblical writers and God are like this. They’re not entirely against certain things, maybe to a certain point and within reason. But at other times I feel what the Bible has to say may go against what many Christians do, love and believe.

Admittedly this depends on the church and country, but there are some places that do link dogs to witchcraft not helped by that the Bible mostly has a low opinion of dogs and that there’s this one verse that mentions both dogs and witches together. It seems like how the dominant culture (even the dominant Christian culture) treats children as a burden, beings needing to be harshly disciplined and scolded whereas dogs seem to get off easily.

But in light of dog predation and pathogenesis wiping out species that dogs would emerge as the bigger liability of the two, though that involves seeing dogs as what the Bible knew them as. Even if positive portrayals of dogs exist in the Bible and throughout Christianity, the evidence is mixed at best so the Biblical stance on dogs could be inconclusive at times if the Book of Tobit and even the story about Jezebel were taken into consideration. So the general attitude to dogs is also mixed depending on the locale and version of the Bible.

It’s even more mixed in extrabiblical beliefs where on one hand you have dogs linked to saints like St Francis of Assisi and Saint Dominic, but on the other hand they’re linked to witchcraft and the Devil himself not helped by that there’s one Bible verse that mentions both dogs and sorcerers together as said before. Admittedly this is the same with cats too when it comes to saints like Saint Gertrude and Saint Agatha, the latter who’s even said to turn into a cat herself.

(Coincidentally both animals get used in Christian monasteries the world over.)

Then we get to how Christians get accidentally complicit in someone’s vices or sins, especially if they themselves aren’t particularly aware of what they’re doing is wrong. Sort of like the thing about nudity in art, if it leads somebody to lust then avoid it. It’s this simple but that involves becoming more responsible with what one does, because they shouldn’t be a stumbling block to others. That involves being more careful with what they do, because it too could lead someone to sin. But one people will not be comfortable with.

Because this involves realising they’ve set up stumbling blocks for people, or aren’t aware of their actions leading others to sin. This is something those in the art community will not admit or realise in any way, because they are accidentally complicit in some way that they too need to bear the onus of their actions. I don’t think a lot of Christians, especially if they’re into the arts, seem deeply aware of how deeply entrenched perversion is into them. I guess a lot of it dovetails into the school of thinking that self-expression dominates them.

But when it dovetails with the satanic ‘my will be done’ thing, this is the real answer why perversion persists and grows in the arts. This is also likely the reason why so many artists are into the occult and the Devil, even if Christian artists do exist but they are a minority compared to these people. I don’t think Christian artists will comfortable with this, even if it makes itself evident with the numerous references to the Devil as well proliferating depictions of various paraphilias.

Then we get to Christians being really strict or harsh on children, perhaps far too harsh at times because I think deep down inside it’s their way of getting back at secularisation. But without knowing that it comes off as wanting to be better than everybody else, it’s a holier than thou mentality that alienates everybody and the likely reason why we have so many exvangelicals. I do get the feeling why Christians support spanking and harsh discipline is because they think it’s the right thing to do, but with seeing others as beneath them.

Children, Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, everybody else who seem to be enemies of Evangelical Christianity; I feel a lot of Evangelicals (and Protestants in general) get far too proud of themselves, thinking they are better than everybody else. Ironically atheists might be humbler than them, in the sense of not knowing any better. The Bible emphasises the need to love one’s enemies, which is something Evangelicals fail to do so often. More often than not, they tend to be snarky and harsh towards everybody else.

They tend to be harsh on children, even though the Bible insists that they shouldn’t provoke children to anger. No wonder why so many of them quit Christianity because of those awful experiences, they shouldn’t be proud of themselves because they are ultimately human like everybody else. I feel Evangelicals have the need to seek an enemy, just so they can scold and chastise them a lot whilst mostly ignoring certain things the Bible also condemns.

No wonder why they condone spanking, sexism, sexual abuse, racism and other vices because they see nothing wrong with those, or at least see others as violating their standards and beliefs a lot. But then again the same principle holds for exvangelicals, who are evidently fed up with their every whim and hypocrisy. Then we get to another sin or vice that many Christians don’t seem particularly aware of, some may even condone it and it’s gluttony.

Part of the problem lies with how some Protestant churches tend to hold potlucks, which contributes to gluttony for some people but one they ought to be careful with. Then the other part is that Christians see nothing wrong with gluttony, they barely ever talk about and oppose the way they do with LGBT. If only they kept the same energy for gluttony, then that would mean gluttony got off easily out of all the seven deadly sins. This dovetails with the need for fasting in Christianity, but the problems lies with enabling gluttony in many ways.

Because Christians unwittingly enable certain things that God condemns, this is why Evangelicalism and the like have so many problems that could be solved by following God’s word.

Imperfect comparisons

Admittedly my comparison of dogs to civets isn’t perfect, but in some regards it does pinpoint what’s been suspected before. The fact that dogs were domesticated in Southeast Asia, which’s exactly where civets are currently being domesticated there suggests that dog domestication may have more in common with civet domestication than one realises. It’s not going to be exact, but it does reveal itself in some contexts.

Some people eat civets in Southeast Asia, just as some people eat dogs there should suggest shared usage in the same area. It’s not just merely coincidental, but rather pointing out how dogs may’ve been used prior to proper domestication that in addition to being seen as pests they would’ve been used for food to some extent in some occasions. As disgusting as it sounds, the way civets are being used there should shed light on how wolves became dogs even if it’s not exact.

Let’s not also forget that dogs are also used for pest control in Southeast Asian countries like Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam, so in light of the theory that dogs were initially seen as vermin that the comparison to civets becomes even more apt. Again not exactly like civets, but where civets are heading (that’s being kept alive while made useful) should illuminate the secrets of dog domestication.

The facts that civets are used by farmers for cultivating coffee beans with and dogs being used for pest control in Southeast Asia should shed light on how dogs got there, since dogs may’ve started out as vermin but turning out to be useful for getting rid of other vermin that it’s not a stretch that people would take advantage of their hunting abilities to take on bigger animals.

So civet domestication parallels dog domestication in ways it wouldn’t be with foxes, if because to my knowledge no fox has ever been used for something useful whilst being kept alive the way civets and dogs are subjected is something to (re)consider. Let’s not also forget that most Southeast Asians aren’t really that familiar with ferrets either, so even if not all of them have seen civets these are animals they’re likelier to encounter or heard of in any way.

The other problem is how western bias taints any attempt at reconstructing what dog domestication was like, especially if it doesn’t focus a lot on where dogs were first domesticated like Southeast Asia. Because Southeast Asians use civets for coffee farming and dogs for hunting rodents and small reptiles, it’s far likelier the earliest dogs were just wolves who turn out to be useful for hunting rodents and ended up kept this way too.

That in addition to guarding, but comparing civets to dogs would suggest that Southeast Asia and Southeast Asians played a far bigger role in dog domestication than one realises. Much more than what they’re given credit for, given they’re often stereotyped as dog eaters without realising that dogs are used for something other than meat there. This might be partly why not many bother comparing dogs to civets, even if the answer may be found with the latter in a way.

Even odder still is realising how big a role East Asia played in dog domestication, perhaps far bigger than what isn’t given credit for.

Some unexpected insights into dog domestication

I personally think believing that wolves were already tame prior to domestication is a romantic fallacy, since it doesn’t resemble the actual patterns of domestication that other animals like civet cats fall into. Throughout Southeast Asia, civet cats were considered to be pests for preying on poultry until it turned out they’re useful for cultivating coffee with through their faeces. If applied to dogs, it would turn out similarly to a doable extent.

It wouldn’t be exactly what dogs went through and are being used for, but enough to give an idea of how it all started given dogs were assumed to be pests at the beginning of their domestication by some people and civets were considered pests in the same situation and circumstance. Civets used to be shooed away for eating poultry, but farmers realised they’re useful because the way their stomachs digest coffee beans make them more pleasant-tasting or something making them liable for domestication.

The fact that dogs were assumed to be first domesticated in Southeast Asia and that civets are being domesticated there too should make the parallels more convincing in ways it wouldn’t be with foxes, ducks and chickens. Civets are even domesticants in the sense that they’re kept in farms for their dung, which gets turned into coffee once coffee beans get extracted. Some may even keep them as pets, though this is just guesswork.

But because civets offer a better insight into dog domestication, the parallels shouldn’t be dismissed because they prove to be real useful and how comparable they are to each other. I personally think comparing dogs to foxes and ferrets wouldn’t work in light of culture and geography because the latter are western domesticants, so it’s better to compare dogs to civets as they’re both domesticated in East Eurasia. Now that’s something not many realise, even if this is the answer we’re all looking for.
