Believe it or not there are really prophecies about America experiencing famine, but in hindsight it already has issues with food insecurity that a famine would really serve to exacerbate pre-existing problems. One would only wonder if there’ll come a time when Americans may finally eat their own dogs, especially if they’ve become so desperate for food that eating dogs becomes more feasible in this case. Something like that happened before in Europe multiple times over, not just in the Middle Ages like this one, but also similar events likely led to similar solutions in places like Ireland and Sweden. It’s kind of weirdly ironic to think that Swedes historically fled to America because Sweden repeatedly experienced famines back then, that come the mid-2020s and it’s going to be America that’ll experience the worst famine to be unleashed in the future.
Blessings become curses and America may no longer be the richest country anymore, there are people who even say that America is Mystery Babylon. This is the prophesised nation-state said to corrupt the entire world, only to experience a downfall at the hands of its enemies. America might no longer be the most powerful country anymore, this would go to both China and Russia (both set to displace America together as the leading global hegemons or superpowers). America may even be forgotten over time that it would be hard to recognise certain things as originally American like with the Internet for instance, then there’s the odd possibility that America may end up as a Russian colony. A kind of post-Cold War irony where both Russia and America were notable rivals following WWII, but one where Russia may have the last laugh here.
This would have odd implications for the cultural and existential side of things where a duo like Tatu may turn out to be very ahead of its time, since it was popular in the early 2000s with hits like ‘All The Things She Said’ and ‘Not Gonna Get Us’. That’s quite a reputation that it will garner in the post-American future and moreso for Europe and half of North America as they will come under Russian influence as its protectorates, with America becoming a colony before disappearing forever. China’s already popularising some of the things America originated like short form videos, which its own Tiktok refined and maintained in a way America’s Vine couldn’t for long. Elon Musk turned Twitter into a superapp, seeing that these things are very popular to the point of being normalised in China.
But the most shocking one’s that nearly all US influence will be revoked the world over, certainly not completely but to the point where a country like the Philippines would become very unrecognisable in the future. In the sense that this is a Philippines that wouldn’t just willingly ally with China once America messes up real badly with both Greenland and then Latin America, but also one that’s highly sinicised since this is something that I prayed for. Albeit one where nearly all American and western influences are revoked, where Mandarin displaces English as the other national language of the Philippines and so on. If it’s in God’s will for America to decline, then we might have to roll with the punches and pray for what he wills to happen. Something like interceding for others to cope with local publishers translating Chinese books.
This is one of the things I prayed for others to cope with, be it close relatives or even those who’re practically strangers in real life, that this may come to pass in the near future. Get this, it will happen in the near future. Especially if America blunders so badly that the Philippines will even allow China to take over it in some way, because there’s increasingly no point in allying with a country that sabotages its own alliances. It’s a matter of time when the Philippines pulls a Canada over American products and the like, that American brands might become increasingly popular here over time. This may even happen this year if/when America destroys NATO when it gets Greenland from Denmark (which is a longtime NATO ally) and then succeeds in invading Mexico after it’s done with Venezuela, that the Philippines will really come to resent the US a lot.
Resenting the US for not saving it from China in time, resenting the US for doing the same thing to Venezuela like what China does to Taiwan (and eventually the Philippines), resenting the US for destroying NATO when it steals Greenland from Denmark. America would succeed in destroying its alliance with the Philippines so quickly that the Philippines finally sees no point in allying with America anymore and may even consent to getting invaded by China one day, a certain political party like our own communist or socialist party may rise to power and become the dominant political party when/after the Philippines willingly allies with China that this will be the final blow to US-Philippine bilateral ties. In the near future the Philippines will either become newly communist or socialist, effectively becoming America’s newest enemy.
Which will only embolden America to get Canada from a dissolving Britain and then Mexico, now that the Philippines is a staunch Chinese ally and then America gets bombed by Russia, Iran and China (which the Philippines will be complacent with as a Chinese ally). Eventually America disappears from the planet, both culturally and physiogeographically, as to become the stuff of legend per Celestial’s prophecy.
When it comes to conceiving of the character Ermentrude Wolfenbarger, it’s primarily based on the odd fact that wolves were actually this associated with witchcraft in some countries like Switzerland before (she is Swiss herself). Mind you even their domesticated relatives dogs were also highly associated with witchcraft in countries like France, Germany and Britain at some point, the association still exists in some African countries like Cameroon and Ghana even not all Africans believe in this themselves. Though there are African sermons and devotionals that do bring this up, they also bring out other topics like forgiveness and arrogance for instance. It is one interest but not the only one around, as they also discuss other matters like love as well.
But even then this is one association that does deserve some reappearance, if one wants a break from the usual stereotype, more often than not it’s informed by a very limited experience with certain things and peoples. Very limited interest in such things and peoples as well to boot, that’s why a number of fictions tend to be kind of dyed in the wool repetitive. TV Tropes might be interesting but not to a reliable extent since most of its obsessions relate to modern pop culture or mass culture in some way or another, not so much earlier folk cultures and high cultures alike. For both of these two, you might as well peruse both older documents (including those dating back to the early modern period) and academia to better delve into such subject matters that don’t appear often in modern mass culture.
And if you want to go the extra mile, then you could also peruse inspirational literatures and journalistic literatures on the same as well, but in a way that makes one wonder if American mass culture/pop culture is kind of very selective in some fashion. Maybe not necessarily selective but more in the lines of being really detached from the past, if because American culture kind of came out of the blue when compared to not only Europe but also China, India, Iran and arguably Senegal, Ghana (when it was both the Ashanti Empire and the Gold Coast), Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo. From the early modern European standpoint, associating dogs with witchcraft’s rather unsurprising, which goes to show you how common this association was in the past.
It’s not at all forgotten in African countries, if because it’s still relevant to this day. But I feel European countries have gotten more postmodern, alongside the profound American influence that came by. Germany had a vexing attitude to dogs before and still does to this day, only in the past it had a lot to do with witchcraft. At present it’s due to both canine predation and people poisoning dogs out of spite, but either way Germany seems more apprehensive around dogs than America is. The same goes for both Austria and Switzerland, since they also have the same problems as well. It’s kind of befitting that one of the most prominent dogs in Germanophone culture is the demonic familiar of Dr Faust, as popularised by Johann von Goethe.
One that’s more deeply embodied in German culture than what Cujo does for American culture, in some regards a lot moreso. And then there’s Malleus Maleficarum, which brings up the association of wolves with witchcraft. So associating either wolves or dogs with witchcraft in the European mind wasn’t that strange before because it used to be this commonplace, similar associations exist in America as a country but only in isolated pockets among some indigenous communities. This is where the American attitude to dogs diverges from its German counterpart, one that seems more consistently enthusiastic around them. That’s not to say Germans don’t value dogs at all, but it’s undermined by recurring suspicions of foul play. Something America doesn’t have to the same extent, really.
The association of wolves and dogs with witchcraft wasn’t really that strange in early modern Europe, owing to its previous ubiquity, that had a character like Ermentrude Wolfenbarger emerged in say 1618, she wouldn’t have been surprising. She is a witch who not only habitually uses dogs and wolves to attack people, but also bewitches them the same, sends dog spirits to torment them and turns into a wolf herself, a witch who’s right at home in African Pentecostal thought as she would be in early modern European Christian thought. But given Canada’s greater proximity to America that a character like Ermentrude Wolfenbarger would stick out like a sore thumb, as Canada was also formed fairly recently and very much a settler-colony as America is.
On the subject of serial killers and pet dogs, there are instances where such characters do like and care for dogs. Most notably the likes of Harold Shipman (who had a black poodle), Myra Hindley who had a dog named Puppet and Dennis Nilsen who had a dog named Bleep, though the thought of murderers having dogs wasn’t so odd during the witch trials. But that’s got to do with them being associated with or suspected of witchcraft in some way that it was to be expected, Ermentrude Wolfenbarger being a murderous witch who likes dogs is pretty unremarkable in this light and likewise the same would go for Harold Shipman, Dennis Nilsen and Myra Hindley in a way. In modern fiction, the closest equivalent would be Dudley and his dog Muttley, which speaks to a kind of underrepresentation.
As underrepresented as witches with dogs, which are historically interconnected and interrelated in Europe before. To the point where if American fiction is in short supply of villainous dog owners that the only viable alternatives are real life stories of murderous dog owners and folklore involving witches who have dogs for familiars, especially if these beliefs are outside of mainstream American culture (Europe at some point, Africa at present). Ermentrude Wolfenbarger and her dogs would be a return to the earlier portrayal, as found in Johann von Goethe’s Faust, so is her using their wild relatives the wolves to do the exact same thing.
These were even mentioned in the book Demons of Urban Reform, which features mentions of documents encountering similar characters in real life at the time. Ermentrude Wolfenbarger and her canine association might be a controversially refreshing change of pace, a villainous witch who uses both dogs and wolves to antagonise people and animals alike.
This is something that I brought up before and this would be really existential to think if God’s out to undo much American influence wherever it went, what would substitute for it in fields like animation, comics and gaming (ACG in other words) then? I admit this is how I feel about sermons that it’s going to be awkward turning to a substitute when you want the real thing more, that it would be really painfully awkward to live in a world where Marvel and DC get revoked from the Philippines and the like over time, that warming up to a substitute is hard and awkward, even when it’s necessary. It’s even more vexing considering that America has the world’s largest publishing industry, which the US comics industry is a subset of this really. So it would be awkward trying to fill in its shoes, considering how massive this really is.
Even if you put both the Nigerian comics industry and the Kenyan comics industry together, they’d still be much smaller than their American counterpart is. The most profitable outlet for any cartoonist to do comics in any way that can be recognised as such would be to do newspaper cartooning, which is like this for a number of African cartoonists working for publications like Vanguard and Guardian.ng. Both Nigeria and Kenya don’t have this many publishers specialising in comics the way America does, both of them don’t even have their own equivalents to both DC and Marvel, as well as Image and Dark Horse to the same scale and length America has. South Africa might be better off but still not much because its own comics industry is smaller than that of America.
So the loss of the American publishing industry would pretty much be a case of throwing the baby with the bathwater because the US comics industry is a subset of this, scrambling to find substitutes from other places will be pretty awkward because of the scale the American publishing industry has at this point. This is actually why I’ve been praying for a number of cartoonists and people I know in my life who read comics to cope with local (read Philippine) publishers translating comics from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Vietnam, especially should American influence ever get undone or stopped at this point in time or in the near future. The loss of any cultural exchange between America and the Philippines will escalate once Uncle Sam starts attacking Mexico after he’s done with Venezuela.
Embracing realpolitik would be painfully awkward at first, but necessary given the escalating tensions between America and its allies. I remember a preacher talking about ravens being dirty birds yet they still gave Elijah bread and God can multiply otherwise limited resources like bread to feed people with, so it’s possible Chinese alternatives and the like might grow on Filipinos over time should the Philippines cut off ties with America for good. Maybe not in a way I’d expect as this involves the Philippines getting permanently given over to China due to its own shortcomings/sins/vices, but it is inevitable that if God’s out to revoke much American and possibly general western influence here, that East Asian substitutes will be preferred out of necessity without even realising.
It’s true that God can restore things more than they were before, so this would also be the case for the Philippines if it repents. But with America being Mystery Babylon that American influence will get revoked here and elsewhere anyways, so we’re going to put up with substitutes instead however painful it may be as we secretly yearn for the real thing more. The best case scenario if American influence will be permanently revoked all over the year is to seek the other things that were a part of our lives before or to seek out very similar substitutes as to not feel too grieved, though the former might be more doable as to keep some remnants of a lost memory in some way or another. Which is likely how I feel about music growing up, that if God makes everybody on the planet forget about America, then they’ll be left with remembering things that aren’t American.
At that point in the future I might be stuck with memories of bands like Bauhaus, Ace of Base, Capercaillie, Aqua, The Prodigy, Clannad, Altan, Massive Attack and Siouxsie and the Banshees instead, though Aqua would be the only band I actually know and recall vividly from my childhood as the rest came into my life when I hit my teens and twenties. Which makes the idea of America becoming a footnote in every future history book all the more salient and telling, that even if America’s not entirely forgotten it wouldn’t be remembered much for most of the part. Whatever edifies will be remembered and kept for long, whatever that defiles will be discarded and forgotten forever. God will do a new thing following America’s collapse at any point in the future, though we’d have to wait and see unless if we get a prophecy of it.
Or if our prayers get answered, even if it may not turn out the way we expected it to be as it is with me before. And even then it seems if America truly is Mystery Babylon, then it is better that it will be forgotten to time, if its influence turns out to be devastatingly regretful at that and even in the past in other countries, it was regarded as such. When it comes to the loss of any American influence in the world that the logistics would be tough to work out when dealing with countries with smaller comics industries than that of the US like Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya, or Armenia and Kazakhstan for another matter, especially at present. Should Canada ever translate comics from both Russia and Europe to make up for a loss of American influence on its soil, it would be tough to work things out as others don’t have particularly large comics industries of their own.
The difference in the scale of influence isn’t the same and it becomes more obvious when you compare how small the Nigerian comics industry really is compared to its American counterpart, the most accessible venue to publish comics there is to do newspaper cartooning instead. Whereas America is large enough to support multiple specialty publishers for long, Nigeria doesn’t have its own longstanding equivalents to both DC and Marvel. Much less things like Dark Horse, Fantagraphics, Image, Dynamite, Universal Press Syndicate, Comics Kingdom and IDW, that the Nigerian comics industry has practically almost nothing on its US counterpart in this regard. So it’s going to be awkward filling in for America when it’s going to have a bigger comics industry than those of Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and South Africa combined.
Having Canadian publishers translate comics from formerly communist countries like Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia would be really awkward that even when taken in the aggregate, their own comics industries aren’t that big beyond certain types of publications like newspaper cartooning and the like due to a prior ideological distrust of all things American (though this is resurfacing in a way as of late). Adding their Scandinavian counterparts to it in addition to Canada’s domestic comics offerings would buoy things a bit, as their own comics industries are bigger than those coming from the formerly communist countries. But it would make for an awkward fit considering this is quite a big vacuum, so filling in with translated comics from these countries might not be sufficient in some regards.
Having Philippine publishers translate comics from its closest neighbours like Japan, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Hong Kong and Myanmar might be better than what would happen in Canada, but most especially Japan as it’s got a really big comics industry that Philippine publishers might strike gold by translating more Japanese comics into Tagalog and other local languages if/when American influence gets seriously revoked here. This is largely hypothetical for now but highly plausible as there’s a substantial Philippine audience for anything anime-related, coupled with a big loss in American exports that filling in with Tagalog translations of comics coming from the Philippines’s closest neighbours might help things out. The comics industries in Indonesia, Japan and China are much bigger than those in say Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, that this would make for a really adequate substitute in the aggregate for the Philippines.
But even then this speaks to a kind of realpolitik that when it comes to the growing loss of US influence in both Canada and the Philippines, owing to it being Mystery Babylon, that turning to substitutes would be the only viable option around. Canadian publishers developing a habit out of translating comics from both Russia and Europe would lead to a more Europeanised Canadian comics industry, not necessarily completely less North American, but a good deal less Americanised than at present. Not that superheroes would entirely disappear in Canada, but rather they’d undergo a transformation that’s brought upon by a stronger European influence in the future. Philippine publishers developing a habit out of translating comics from countries like Korea, China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Thailand into local languages would lead to a more easternised Philippine comics industry, one where American influence has been substantially reduced by then.
By then in the future as American influence gets thoroughly erased throughout the world, the future Canadian comics industry would be Europeanised. The future Philippine comics industry would be more easternised than at present, but ones that are highly plausible given both countries’ growing distrust towards American foreign policy.
Why would this post be titled Goldilocks when it’s got more to do with a prophecy regarding Russia attacking America in the near future? This is because the prophecy uses bears and a late Russian politician to convey this message from God. Goldilocks is generally the story of a young blonde girl who goes to a house and gets the bears’ porridge, which has been retold multiple times but the story itself has seen other permutations before its popularisation. There are other versions where Goldilocks is clearly a old woman who gets killed, another where she has platinum blonde hair instead, and even a fox appears in her place in yet another. The brown bear is pretty much Russia’s national animal, analogous to how the bald eagle stands in for the United States.
There’s actually a photograph of a she-bear and her offspring raiding a bald eagle’s nest, so if Russia (as symbolised by the bear) were to attack America (which is either symbolised by the bald eagle or at some point, a woman wherein America itself gets analogised to Mystery Babylon), then this is what America will get for what it does to others. There are others who ponder if certain songs like American Pie might be prophetic in nature, regarding America’s future downfall, that it’s possible God does use other means of getting the message across. Sometime ago when I prayed for certain musicians and bands, I ended up encountering posts eeriely similar to either one of them in some way or another. So this is how God answered these prayers, not just through prophecy, but also word choices.
The one time I read a devotional in the late afternoon, when I was praying something I encountered a post called ‘Prisoners of Hope’. This isn’t just part of the lyrics of an Ace of Base song called ‘Lucky Love’, but it’s also there in the Bible and one of the members is a Christian herself, despite her mishaps from time to time. She turned to God more after her sister got traumatised by a stalker, so this is one way my prayer for them got answered. An even more shocking one that I encountered months before was that one of the prophetesses on 444ProphecyNews shares the same surname as one member from the band The Prodigy, the one thing more shocking than this is that the root word for ‘prodigy’ is there in the Vulgate version of the Bible. So God did answer the prayers I have for them, in ways I’d never expect to show up.
So the idea that God gave this prophet a vision of Mikhail Gorbachev and the three bears as symbolic of what Russia will do to America, given the popular folktale having the leitmotif of the three bears and America is Mystery Babylon. If Babylon is assumed to be the daughter of another nation-state (Sumer in the Old Testament, Britain in the New Testament), let’s not forget that in French the word ‘fille’ doubles as both ‘daughter’ and ‘girl’. The old woman in Eleanor Mure’s story subsequently got younger in later stories, so it kind of fits in a way that America would steal something from Russia only to get attacked eventually. What’s more is that Russia might get back Alaska in years, that if America’s entitled to get more territories from ailing empires like what it did to Spain regarding both the Philippines and Guam, then it’s only fair that Russia would do the same towards all of Europe and half of the Americas.
Especially now that America’s in decline itself that it will be finished much sooner than expected, with nearly all its states getting destroyed by a decade later that America is over by then. America being such a double–minded country that it’s a house that’s divided, it can’t stand on its own for longer that civil war may come to it. It will actually get invaded by other countries like China even, it will be ruled over by a despot (though others argue it’s already happening) and it will even come to persecute Christians itself. An earthquake will even halve part of the North American continent (which America sits on), America and Europe might get overruled by Islamic law, America experiencing a nasty brownout because it loves spiritual darkness a lot, America getting judged for this is inevitable.
America will get a famine not just due to its evil nature, but that it will exacerbate pre-existing problems like recurring food insecurity for the poor. It assumes itself to be a queen that will not experience sadness, though ironically it will soon enough. For a country that has a lot, it’s truly disillusioned and ungrateful on the inside. Or that it’s really a failure in the making, turning out to be the ultimate failed state if there will be one at all. And one that makes you question a lot about the United States and its habit of corrupting the planet.
Considering that America’s been compared by a number of prophets like Celestial and Dumitru Duduman to Mystery Babylon, an End Times nation-state that corrupts the entire planet that’s personified as a woman riding atop the monster that will destroy her, with Celestial even stating that America might even come to invade Jamaica one day that it seems any Latin American suspicion of American imperialism isn’t just justified, it’s already been long suspected for years. According to this person, they prophesised that America might take over Mexico and Colombia one day. America already took over part of Mexican territory before, you may know these as Texas (which will get bombed), Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, California and New Mexico. Now you should know why Mexico even has Baja California, which is a remnant of the former California.
There’s actually a book called How To Read Donald Duck, which largely concerns Disney comics writers’ tendency to otherise global South countries and the curious economics the characters’ cities operate with, which is still a thing with not only current core Disney stories but also those of its consolidated acquisitions like Marvel. I have talked about Marvel writers indulging in the same thing towards black Africans before, where it’s kind of obvious that this is what Black Panther and Storm tend to get. Edward Said spoke about Orientalism as the west’s tendency to other global South regions by treating them as antithetical to the west, though he was specifically talking about West Asian countries here. But it can also be applied to sub-Saharan countries just the same really, which comes into play regarding the way Storm’s depicted.
Whenever black Africans do show up in most US ACG works, there’s a form of Orientalism that treats them as practically the opposite of white westerners. In earlier stories they’ll be stereotyped as scantily clad cannibals adhering to polytheistic practises, in some newer stories Africa will be portrayed as uniformly poor and in some regards, still more backwards than the west, which is Orientalism 101 really. The way Storm was portrayed in the earliest story to introduce her (Giant Sized X-Men) adheres to this Orientalist formula, wherein she’s portrayed as a naked African woman worshipped as a goddess by the locals. Let’s not forget that How To Read Donald Duck was written when America kind of invaded Chile for being communist or something, that led to this book getting banned in some way.
Let’s not forget recurring US rhetoric portraying Latin Americans as drug lords, as to justify these countries getting invaded by America. This could explain the colonialist air behind Orientalism aimed at regions like sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and West Asia, and East Asia (the Far East), where they do this to subjugate the locals and then acclimatising them to western practises. It’s kind of odd in hindsight to think that although America is technically against imperialism, but in practise it’s not above doing this itself as a way to gain power against its enemies. Considering that Donald Trump staged a takeover of Venezuela regarding things like oil, that this might explain why he’s out to get Greenland for its own natural resources. He even demands Canada to join America, though the logistics have yet to be worked out in his favour.
And if Trump makes America take over or if others argue colonise Mexico, Jamaica and Colombia, this will only deepen Latin Americans’ suspicions of America imposing its hegemony on their countries. Let’s not also forget that Disney actually has a radio network in Latin America called Radio Disney, which wasn’t a thing when How To Read Donald Duck was first written in the 1970s. But it can be seen as a further example of Disney being an agent of US imperialism in Latin America, considering that Radio Disney’s very much a part of Disney as the Avengers, and Mickey and friends are. American bands and musicians like Linkin Park, Chappell Roan, Lenny Kravitz and Green Day do get played there, in addition to their Latin American counterparts like Reik, Thalia and Bad Bunny. But it still functions similarly when it comes to popularising or even inculcating American tastes onto unsuspecting listeners.
Just as Disney productions and Marvel comics inculcate American worldviews onto unsuspecting readers and viewers in their formative years, it’s not hard to see how this shapes people in their childhood years and beyond. Let’s not forget that both Mexico and Canada even share the same land mass as America, which makes any claims of American imperialism or American hegemony even more potent. This makes one wonder why would Donald Trump be hellbent on incorporating or consolidating both Canada and Greenland (which is part of Denmark) into the United States, it’s logistically easier in a way as they’re both closer to the US than Denmark, that it wouldn’t be much of a hassle for America to get Mexico. It would be harder get back the Philippines should it fall into Chinese hands, so getting Mexico (a fellow former Spanish colony) would compensate for this.
It’s bad enough that BBC journalists were told to call the kidnapping of the former Venezuelan president a capture, like as if for all his faults he deserved this even when it’s something he would’ve never foresaw, trying to run the country to the best of his abilities. Now the current Venezuelan president was his vice president, filling in his shoes to the best of her abilities. Even if not all Filipinos feel this way around the announcements that the US is using the same tactics to Venezuela like China does to Taiwan, that it’s really turning out to be a sunk cost fallacy to justify America for whatever it does despite being the same things China gets chastised for. America is alienating so many of its allies that they’re beginning to engage in realpolitik with either China or Russia, that no sooner or later the Philippines may follow suit towards China if America succeeds in invading not just Venezuela, but also Mexico and Cuba.
A more controversial possibility is to witness both Canada and Europe joining Russia, whether if this even includes Greenland as it’s still part of Denmark for now. But there are prophecies of Russia taking over both Europe and then North America to an extent, that both Canada and Greenland might end up joining it in some way. Though on the condition that America becomes directly ruled over by Russia itself, even then it does make wonder if America has gone too far at this point. Thus warranting its disappearance from the planet for long.
There are prophecies about the United Kingdom as a geopolitical entity coming to an end, given it’s just as wicked as its own daughter-state America is. If America is daughter Babylon, then Britain is its mother witnessing her child’s demise. If America is Mystery Babylon and if Britain’s just as bad as its child, then you can tell a tree by its fruits. Like father, like son. A case of intergenerational wickedness getting passed onto nation-states and their offshoots, Alison Pound even speaks of a covert wickedness in the House of Windsor. It does make one wonder why would the Nigerian Anglican church want nothing to do with its British counterpart, considering that the reigning monarch of Britain is also the head of the Anglican church.
Celestial had prophetic visions of hidden wickedness among the British upper echelons, to the point if Britain is really a house divided. There are Scottish and Welsh seccessionist movements that if they ever did succeed at doing this, then the United Kingdom as we know it will be over coupled with the dissolution of the British aristocracy and the loss of the British monarchy. Pound said that King Charles III will not live long, which is telling due to his own bouts of cancer. She went on saying that Prince William might not even live to become Britain’s next king, if he ever gets assassinated and so will his entire family. This would make the Windsor-Mountbattens the British counterparts to the Russian House of Romanov.
The demise of the House of Romanov went hand in hand with the rise of the Russian revolution, that if there’s nothing new under the Sun then we could get a British revolution for real. Similar coups have happened before, though this one would be long-lasting. Growing numbers of Britons support a republican Britain, though the way it will unfurl in the future will be very different. If this involves England, Scotland and Wales re-emerging as separate nations not seen in centuries, then this is overdue as there are seccessionist movements in both Wales and Scotland. The Republic of Ireland might get a chance to reunite with Northern Ireland, which only strikes another blow to the ailing United Kingdom.
If both Italy and France are any indication as they’re republics at this point, British aristocrats might end up being merely ordinary citizens that have certain pedigrees dating back centuries. Boarding schools have been changing with the times to be more inclusive and kinder to those with mental health issues, though it remains to be seen if they’ll even endure the dissolution of Britain as we know it. Relying on artificial intelligence for answers help, but if God’s wisdom were more trustworthy than human technologies ever would, then AI at best merely scratches the surface of a more surprising future. One would wonder how would certain cultural figures like say Queen or even PD James be seen in a newly balkanised, republican Britain, should a posthumous scandal ever affect the latter?
Admittedly I’ve been praying to God to cope with her admitting she was a prostitute before, so this may come to pass should any hidden admissions (like diaries she wrote when she was younger) be revealed to the general public by publishing them. This would also happen around the time the House of Lords and the House of Commons face further scandals, with the possibility of the current Prime Minister (Keir Starmer) indulging in child abuse himself, that venerable British figures might not be trusted much anymore by a increasingly wary British public. Wary of the aristocracy, wary of the Royal Family, wary of the United Kingdom as a geopolitical entity that’s on an island called Britain. This would lead to some linguistic vexations regarding the dissolution of the United Kingdom at first.
But the situation between Sweden, Norway and Denmark might provide some answers, even if they themselves are kind of flawed in a way. If Swedes, Norwegians and Danes are collectively referred to as Scandinavians due to shared cultural traits, despite Denmark inhabiting its own landmass compared to both Sweden and Norway, then this would be no different for the Scottish, English and Welsh being called Britons despite their own countries becoming truly separate nation-states from then on. Albeit separate nation-states that share the same landmass together, with Ireland being a separate world onto itself. This could be a blessing in disguise for countries like Ireland, Jamaica, Barbados, India, Malaysia, Myanmar and Pakistan as they’ll finally be out of the United Kingdom’s shadow, considering their own desires for independence.
The loss of the Royal monarchy and also the end of the United Kingdom as a geopolitical entity would be the final symbolic nails to the British empire’s coffin, it was already in decline well into the second half of the 20th century with countries like Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya becoming independent nation-states between the 1950s and 1970s. Barbados having become a republic in recent memory is one other example, but with King Charles being such an unpopular monarch and with his own brother being outed for sexual harassment, that this would only further fuel other current British commonwealths’ desire for republicanism like Jamaica. One would wonder what would happen to both Canada and Australia, if Britain does dissolve as a geopolitical entity, given Britain’s complicit in settler colonialism in both of them.
There are prophecies of Australia coming under Chinese influence, though that’s to be expected as Australia’s closer to East Asia than Britan is and also due to its own sins. I even prophesised about the emergence of Greater China, which is a supranational union of China as the head and then followed by Japan, a reunified Korea, Taiwan (soon to be part of China again like with Hong Kong and Macau), Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, possibly Bhutan, Timor Leste, Singapore and Brunei. Australia as well as parts of Africa, especially the African countries most sympathetic to China, will form Lesser China which is a supranational union of Chinese satellite states. This will further demolish the United Kingdom as Australia’s currently one of Britain’s remaining commonwealths.
Canada might end up as an American pawn, before reuniting with England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland as all five of them join Russia for protection or something. Even if England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Canada all still exist, but the British Empire will truly be dead when these happen. The British empire is dying but it will truly die when these occur.
When it comes to prophecies about a forthcoming civil war in America not seen in years, I feel this has to do with America being such a double-minded country as to veer into civil instability at any point in time, though it’s coming much sooner than expected. Considering that American politics is mostly bipartisan and a good deal moreso than in other countries or at least to a greater extent than it would in say Estonia, it does give American culture a very duplicitous and unsteady character. In the sense of alternating between piety and reprobation in terms of its cultural exports, the latter’s not lost on past Christians who were around when America was truly a superpower on the rise contending with Russia. The book ‘My Vision Of The Destruction Of America’ points out that America’s something of a world leader in moral and spiritual filth, despite taking pride in its past as a Christian colony, that make one wonder why such book bans in other countries exist in the first place.
There was a movie featuring the late actress Shirley Temple that got banned in Denmark for being depraved at some point in the 20th century, but it was part of a documentary regarding Vladimir Nabokov insinuating that he got molested by his uncle, that makes one wonder if such peoples (and such countries like America) might be less trustworthy than one realises despite or rather becaues of appearances to the contrary. Even if pornography didn’t originate in America per say, what America did is to popularise it to such a scale enabled by technological innovations, truly befitting of its role as Mystery Babylon. In that sense America is Mystery Babylon, the nation-state destined to fail eventually and then get destroyed by its enemies. Though it could be said that America’s no stranger to book bans itself, doing this to things like Harry Potter and then Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, but on the other hand it does make you wonder why would something like Gender Queer even get published by America in the first place?
A country that openly proclaims itself to be a Christian nation first and foremost yet publishes or popularises such filth that it is in some regards the most duplicitous nation-state on Earth, why would a Christian nation with a substantial Evangelical community be the same country behind things like Drag Race, Bridgerton and Big Mouth? What kind of country calls itself Christian but does a lot to the contrary? America really does have a profound Jekyll and Hyde quality that’s kind of obvious even to secular people and non-Christian majority countries that we both love and hate it at the same time, even this duplicity extends to other aspects like the one regarding its attitudes towards ethnic minorities. It’s not unique to America, well to an extent in countries like Britain, France and Germany, but what is remarkable about American ethnic minorities like African Americans and Jewish Americans is that they’re very influential and successful in their own right.
A good number of prominent American musicians alive today are African Americans themselves, but most African Americans are often mistreated and distrusted in America. To the point where any suspicion of cultural appropriation might be warranted when it comes to African Americans being at the forefront of things like rock music, hip hop and even vocal groups, the latter which African American acts like The Temptations, Four Tops and The Platters have seen any commercial success in their lifetimes; but it seems the same genre seems more palatable to certain demographics if the musicians in question are white and/or increasingly Korean. It’s not hard to see how and why African Americans don’t get much credit for the things they were at the helm or front row seat, to the point of feeding their resentment because it’s not openly reciprocated or regarded as such. Though unfortunately hatred leads to murdering people.
This is also found among white Americans that inevitably interethnic tensions are bound to happen every now and then, though it would be horrifying if it comes to head once another civil war happens in America for real. That’s not to say there aren’t any African Americans who’re not antagonistic to their white counterparts, such good relationships do exist and particularly in Christian circles (the whole loving your enemy thing). But then again interethnic tensions are a feature, not bug, of American life every now and then, this is even systemic to a large degree that white people will usually flee whenever their neighbourhoods start housing more black people than at first. This also happens to other ethnic minorities to varying degrees, albeit in sometimes very different permutations for others like East Asian descendants, that it seems interethnic tensions are a recurring feature of American life in this regard. Even if it’s not unique to America itself.
But considering that America has been a major superpower for years in recent memory, that we inevitably get an idea of what’s going on there whenever we get privy to something, sometimes by mistake or happenstance. It’s like if you frequent blogs by African Americans, even if not that African Americans begrudge their white counterparts (especially if they’re Christians and it’s generally not for long or at least they try not to), there’s a kind of mistrust due to negative experiences with white people that it kind of reveals their own apprehensions in being in white majority countries and communities for long. Even if there are African Americans who do get along with their white counterparts a lot for most of the part, but it seems whenever ethnic tensions happen between them and others that America is in some regards very much internally divided. It’s unstable not just due to its bipartisan politics, but also regarding recurring interethnic tensions.
There’s talk of a bamboo ceiling for Asian Americans that despite generally succeeding well in life in the aggregate, they’re unable to achieve top positions in most cases despite qualifying in theory. So it seems even if they do succeed well in life, they’re still unable to overcome whatever problems that come by, as if they’re not good enough to achieve in America even if they try hard or qualify well in theory. It seems white America doesn’t really reciprocate their willingness to do what it takes to succeed in life, sometimes this is met by othering them a lot despite evidence to the contrary. America is a house divided to the point of falling down at any moment in time, that the things it upholds are ultimately unattainable for most. Sometimes in another way for Asian Amerians that even when they have what it takes to achieve the American dream, they’re also not seen as wholly American and not quite one of us in this regard. It’s not reciprocated much.
Despite America taking pride in its identity as a land of immigrants, in reality there’s a profound xenophobia towads those who don’t fit into its cultural schema a lot. This is frequently aimed at Latin Americans, West Asian descendants and East Asian descendants a lot that even when they have what it takes to achieve the American dream, it’s not reciprocated to the point where they essentially or practically get rejected for this. A case of mistreating the foreigner like one would to an Israelite in Egypt, it’s shocking that a good number of self-proclaimed Christians hold xenophobic attitudes. But it’s also a case of America being a house divided that despite putting on a united front, interethnic tensions regularly happen that they’re as American as apple pie and baseball are. There are ethnic tensions between black people themselves, but particularly between voluntary immigrants and African Americans.
(This isn’t unique to America itself as something similar also happens in Britain.)
America is the ultimate example of a house divided, given that it’s got both a substantial population of nonwhite immigrants and their descendants and a substantial population of its own African descendants, that both of them are frequently met by racism that despite calling itself the United States of America it’s actually tearing itself apart a lot. It might not be a classical case of Balkanisation, even those those in the former Yugoslavia mostly speak the same language. But it is internally divided that a civil war’s bound to happen anyways, this even extends to social class that those who’re wealthy are able to lead comfortable lives. But those who are poorer are either met by food deserts or fulfil their desire to get food through hunting and scavenging, that food insecurity’s also a feature of American life among the lower classes. Poverty’s also a thing in America and it’s more pronounced in certain communities than one realises.
Though it is tempting to view veganism as a rich people thing, but when it comes to food insecurity that people would have to find other means of getting food when given the chance to do so, that we even have prophecies of Americans eating their own pets. One would grimly wonder if this is when white Americans do starting their own dogs, something they often accuse their East Asian counterparts of a lot. I have pointed multiple times before that frequent cases of dog abuse do happen in countries like Germany, albeit in another permutation that involves said dogs getting either poisoned or shot out of either spite or legal retribution (especially by hunters), that it’s never truly deserving of being called dog friendly when a good number of Germans are suspicious of dogs themselves and have been so in the past regarding witchcraft. This isn’t remarked much outside of Germanophone circles.
It’s even met with disbelief as with one person who even went there themself, who in a sense should know better, that it kind of speaks to a kind of othering where East Asians are more likely to be condemned for this when white Europeans are really no better in a way. It would be pretty damning if white Americans will be caught dead eating dogs themselves, especially should a famine occur, that it does make one wonder if America is a good deal more self-righteous than it realises. When Americans start eating dogs themselves when a famine happens, a civil war breaks out there at the same when World War Three happens, to the point where America really is falling apart and it’s going to get more obvious over time.
Recently the United States developed the audacity to arrest the current Venezuelan president, mostly in an attempt to get oil there, which is made more distressing that this is something Filipinos should know well. Namely that Venezuela was also a former Spanish colony to the point of sharing a number of things together with us, that Spanish also used to be spoken here that it’s shocking why many Filipinos make fun of this. It’s like the Philippines identifies a lot with America to the point of internalising its own stereotypes about Latin Americans, even when we historically had more in common with the latter before. Not too long ago Philippine television channels actually even dubbed Latin American programmes, but it seems many Filipinos would rather continue excusing America for whatever bad things it does, even when it’s to a fellow former Spanish colony like Venezuela.
It seems as if most Filipinos don’t care if America has the audacity to invade Venezuela and then get its president imprisoned or arrested, not just because they think the Philippines should solve its own problems, but also because the Philippines identifies a lot with America to the point of internalising its stereotypes about Latin Americans and Latin American countries. Venezuela is also a former Spanish colony and even if it has problems like our own, it’s practically a country we should sympathise more with than to the United States really. Even if I don’t know much about Venezuela but it should be noted that at some point we had a shabu epidemic, that if Venezuela has a cocaine epidemic then it’s a country we ought to sympathise more because we share many things in common. That’s if it weren’t for internalising American views a lot, it would be more realistic to sympathise more with Venezuela instead.
If America has the audacity to invade Mexico, then Filipinos should also be concerned for the same reasons I’ve enumerated. We even had trade together at some point, we were actually ruled over by Mexico too. Bu unfortunately for as long as Filipinos continue identifying more with America, we will perpetuate its stereotypes about fellow former Spanish colonies like Venezuela and Mexico. This doesn’t bode us for us as members of a former Spanish colony itself, because it’s as if we’re willing to excuse or justify whatever America does, because we think America is always good. Even if it means being insensitive to fellow former Spanish colonies like Venezuela.
When it comes to prophecies of America getting destroyed as comeuppance for its sins, since there are people who liken it to Mystery Babylon, that any Biblical passage mentioning the destruction of this entity likely confirms their suspicion. So prophecies about America’s destruction are coming to pass, though the less-commonly asked question is existential in nature. In the sense of how would other countries’ cultures be able to function without much American influence anymore, what would fill in the gap now that there’s going to be a big vacuum for America’s allies and would-be former allies alike. In the case with Canada, to be honest, my preferred substitutes would have to come from both the former Soviet allies (and Russia itself) and Scandinavia, though other alternatives are welcome and when in tandem, they can make up for a big loss, however awkward it may be in the interim (which is how I feel about missing sermons).
In the Philippines this more highly involves its closest neighbours since it’s too westernised for my liking, but one that may actually come to pass though it’s got to do with getting comeuppance for its own sins. I remember preachers saying there’s no point in the Philippines calling itself Christian when it often falls short of it and never repents en masse in any way, so its reputation as East Asia’s number one Christian (majority) country will be undone or minimised to a shockingly large extent. Nearly all western influence in the Philippines will be undone, since there’s no point in the Philippines calling itself Christian yet often falls short and never repents, so ultimately in the future it will become like any other East Asian country. Culturally, religiously, economically, ideologically and politically a lot more like its neighbours than at present, because it fails to practise what it preaches.
It might even willingly ally with China once America falls into a civil war, coming to resent the US more for not saving it in time that it begins to see the advantage of engaging in realpolitik when it comes to China. Same goes for South Korea when it gets captured by North Korea, only to be reunified with it, and likewise Japan but for its repeat rejection of God. If God can give back more than one lost, it’s already happening to China now that it’s gaining fast and loyal allies in Africa, that ultimately it might even get back its strong influence in East Asia again. One that leads to the formation of something in-between the European Union and the Soviet Union called Greater China, a supranational union composed of China itself as the head, Taiwan (soon to be reunited with China), Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Brunei, Thailand, Laos, possibly Bhutan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Korea, Singapore and Japan.
Lesser China would be the merger of the African Union plus Morocco and the Oceanian nation-states in a way, as these are going to be the satellite states to Greater China. The European Union as well as Great Britain would find themselves subsumed under the Commonwealth of Independent States once Russia’s given permission to conquer all of Europe and part of North America (both Canada and America, though only the former will be spared by becoming a Russian commonwealth or protectorate instead), due to their apostasy and backsliding. America will find itself utterly alone, devoid of any allies to its side in any way it likes, that it will be conquered by both China and Russia. But most especially Russia where it will get back Alaska, then turn the contiguous United States into a kind of colony or extension of itself. The place to get indentured labour from, a dumping ground for nuclear bombs and so on.
Then America’s time as a superpower will be utterly finished, it has peaked as a hyperpower in the 1990s and 2000s, signs of its decline were nearly on its way in the 2010s. But it’s getting more obvious as we get deeper in the 2020s where it seems to be following China’s lead when it comes to social media, that there’s a reason why Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into a superapp, even if it kind of backfired for other people. Substack has become something of a superapp too, it doesn’t just host blogs and tweets but also livestreams. China didn’t originate the short form video, but it did refine and popularise it in a way America only lately started taking advantage of, which is why YouTube currently has YouTube shorts. It’s not that America lacks interesting technology, but that interesting technological innovations are likelier to come from China and others this time.
Even the popularisation of nonwestern media has been a growing phenomenon for years, that the writing was already on the wall when it comes to the possibility of a waning US influence. But it seems America’s time as a superpower is going to be over and it’s getting more obvious as time passes, cartoon characters like Superman has seen his latest live action film not do well in other markets and even less than his 2010s cinematic appearances. America’s been declining ever since and it seems to be getting more obvious, despite what its press says, but God’s word is truer than human reasoning. So America’s going to decline anyways and may even face more natural disasters to come, it may even face another civil war not seen in a long while. We’re inching closer to WWIII than one realises, but one where America will lose.
