It’s gonna fall

There are prophecies of the US economy failing real badly, as well as growing reliance on artificial intelligence to speed things up. The US might dominate the artificial intelligence field, which is already happening in a number of industries. Some fashion business rely on artificial intelligence not just to pinpoint possible or forthcoming trends, but also make it easier to make patterns for seamstresses to rely on before sewing said garment. Animation studios rely on artificial intelligence to make the job of animating characters easier and more efficient this way, given animation’s already a very labour-intensive job. Artificial intelligence also does a generally decent job at summarising things, when it comes to something like say comic book industry trends for instance.

Artificial intelligence is already in use in a number of industries to varying degrees, but with the aim of making certain jobs and tasks easier and more efficient. Seamstresses might rely on artificial intelligence to make the job of sewing garments for people easier and quicker to make, as if sewing machines alone don’t get the job fast enough. There were some suspicions around sewing machines when they first appeared, apparently a foretaste of the artificial intelligence phenomenon for years to come. Same goes for the popularisation of computer animation in the 1990s and 21st century, to the point where you have people clamouring for hand-drawn animation. Even if it makes it easier to undo certain mistakes like the character’s hair being miscoloured or something like that.

An economic collapse will really ruin the entire world and America as well, but one that necessitates changes in alliances if the US is no longer powerful enough. Russia might be among the countries used by God to destroy the United States and its allies, that should it ever happen it might even take over much of Europe as well. Europe had been backsliding for quite a while, so this is enough to have its own comeuppance by having it handed over to Russia. Russia might even do the same to both Canada and America for similar reasons, so there will be a new global west where Russia’s the leader. If I’m not mistaken, Russia sees itself as a third Rome so by then all roads lead to Russia, whether if people like it or not. China’s also rising to the challenge and may even take in some of America’s allies for similar judgements and reasons.

The Philippines will be judged for betraying the Lord that he’ll permanently hand it over to China, almost all things American will be erased here and by extension, nearly all things western as well. If plain old celebrity worship isn’t bad enough, now the Philippines has been influenced by K-Pop (itself an evil thing) to create its own version and its own P-Pop idols. If the Philippines continues to invest in P-Pop, this only hastens the process of not only being judged but also getting handed over to China forever. Then we’ll witness a highly sinicised Philippines emerge, not just culturally but also economically and sociopolitically as well. One that eagerly replaces capitalism with socialism once the Communist Party of the Philippines rises to power and seeks connections to China overthrow American hegemony here, should the US economy decline real badly.

Not only that but it’s also going to be part of Greater China like with China itself, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, a reunified Korea, Timor Leste, Brunei, Indonesian and Malaysia, given China used to influence much of East Asia to varying degrees that it’s getting back more than it had lost before. This is likely why China’s influencing many African countries as well, which will form part of Lesser China alongside Australia and New Zealand. These countries will be the satellite states to Greater China proper, whereas a new Soviet Union will be composed of not only members of the former Soviet Union and the Communist bloc, but also European Union and/or NATO members as well. America will be briefly part of Russia proper before disappearing into the waters forever, but this is a world where America is no longer relevant.

Even if not all of America disappears, the rest would get incorporated into other countries altogether. Russia might hand over Alaska to Canada, Mexico will get back its former territory plus Louisiana and Florida (or rather their remains at best), Hawaii will be given over to China as one of its Lesser China satellites and so on. Given America has been compared to the original Babylon before, it should be noted that Babylon was so corrupt that it got defeated by Medo-Persia and then got incorporated into it. Babylonian influence throughout West Asia and North Africa eventually decreased, maybe not entirely but to the point where it’s hard to realise its influence immediately. Iran/Persia went from using the same cuneiforms as Babylon to adopting Arabic script, eventually Babylon itself would do the same upon the arrival of Islam after the arrival of Christianity and Aramaic.

This is likely one reason why Akkadian has no surviving descendants to this day, whereas Aramaic still does even if many of them are currently endangered. Or for another matter, Sumerian which is a language isolate. American influence is already undergoing the same fate in Europe and Canada, though it remains to be (fore)seen if it will happen just the same in the Philippines. If something does happen here, then English will get replaced by Mandarin. Western names will fall out of popularity as they’ll be seen as colonialist and outdated, native Tagalog names would permanently replace them instead. Western entertainments but most especially American entertainment will no longer be popular here in the Philippines, for these will be despised and at best be seen as old-fashioned and irrelevant. And even if western influence remains here, it’s only to an extent as the Philippines has grown corrupt.

There are even preachers who say that there’s really no point in the Philippines calling itself Christian when it does a lot to the contrary that it’s mostly lip service at this point, it’s even worse when it has the audacity to glorify idolatry when it comes to P-Pop that ultimately this only speeds up Chinese domination of the Philippines in a way. But one that makes one wonder how rebellious the Philippines is and why it’s like Judah, rebellious and then handed over to their enemies. (I’ve read this when I did something like this before.) Except this will be permanent as the Philippines loves what God hates that ultimately American influence will be largely erased, same goes for a general western influence that in the future, the Philippines will be a lot like other East Asian countries in most regards.

Canada might undergo a similar transformation, but one that pivots it closer to both Russia and Europe. It’s already done to an extent as of late, but in the future it will become the norm. Should Russia take over Canada in the future for the same reason China will do to the Philippines, a Russified Canada is just as inevitable as a Sinicised Philippines would. Canada will mostly likely end up as a Russian protectorate whilst America becomes an extension of Russia before disappearing forever, in fact Canada will be used by Russia as a sort of Mexico to rule over America. A lot like the way Spain used Mexico to do this to the Philippines, but when America disappears that’s when Canada stands alone in the Commonwealth of Independent States (then to be renamed as the Russian Union or something).

A reminder that a country called America used to be there in North America, not just geographically but also culturally as Canada’s this Americanised. Even then once America disappear that we’ll witness a very different Canada and Philippines from then on.

Living without America by tomorrow

Given there are prophecies of forthcoming famines and economic collapses coming to the US as well as judgement of the western world, that makes one wonder if it were possible to truly survive without American influence at this point in time and also in the future. It’s one thing to live in a way where there was practically no American influence before, it’s another to live in a world where there is no more American influence that it’s kind of existentially frightening at times. Considering that America has both the world’s largest publishing industry and the world’s largest music industry, it would take really big shoes to fill to make up for a loss. A loss others never foresaw nor wanted, since this is how I feel about missing sermons at times. It would be painful living with a substitute when we want the real thing real badly, which is also how I feel about sermons at some point.

If American influence were to be truly revoked around the world, or even greatly minimised at that, it would be awkward scrambling for viable substitutes to make up for such a profound loss. It’s like what Canada’s doing at this point where it does a lot to seek local alternatives to American products, but since it’s not a superpower like America is that it would be wiser but more awkward to turn to substitutes from anywhere other than America. It would take products and influences from more than 26 countries (especially from both the former Soviet Union and the Communist Bloc, plus Scandinavia) to make up for a loss of American influence in Canada, though it would take time for Canadians to warm up to the likes of Sweden’s Bamse, Norway’s Pondus and Denmark’s Rasmus Klump.

It would take time for Canadians to learn some Russian, Ukrainian and the like to dub such programmes into their languages, it would take time for Canadians to warm up to things like the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh and so on. It remains to be seen if something like Nelvana will dub this version of Winnie the Pooh into indigenous languages like Cree and Ojibwe for instance, or even something like the Ukrainian version of Treasure Island just the same. There’s not much of a language barrier to getting bands like Denmark’s Aqua and Sweden’s Ace of Base getting popularised again in Canada, because they already tend to sing in English a lot. But when American influence is so highly minimised in Canada, that sticking to European and Russian substitutes would be one of a handful of viable alternatives to make up for such a strong loss.

I suspect if Canadian publishers were to develop a habit of translating Russian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Romanian comics a lot (well among many others), that predictably and consequently Canadian comics will follow European and Russian trends more. At present that due to greater geographical and cultural proximity to America that Canadian comics trends tend to follow or mirror those of their American counterparts a lot, but the loss of American influence could result in something. Maybe it might be a blessing in disguise that for Canada (and the rest of the Americas, sans America itself) that European comics would finally be popularised there, but because American influence has been so greatly revoked that European substitutes would have to take their place instead.

It would be really no different if the Philippines were to rely a lot more on its closest neighbours (Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, China and Laos), since the loss of American influence here would be just as colossal. It would take substitutes from other, similarly highly populous countries in East Asia to make up for this, though it would take time for us to warm up to Chinese and SEA products and influences more. It would be really awkward at first because we want America more deep down inside, so warming up to alternatives would be rather painful at first. Taking time getting used to say the popularisation of traditional Han Chinese clothing (hanfu) in the Philippines and the like would be just as jarring at first, even if or when such alternatives would inevitably be adopted to make up for a loss of US influence here.

For those seeking a less westernised Philippines, this might be the right time to do so given America’s waning influence. It remains to be seen if Philippine publishers are willing to translate the likes of Oriental Heroes and McDull into Tagalog, as well as personally translating something like Chi’s Sweet Adventure and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure as well. But the loss of American influence would necessitate the need for substitutes, however awkward and painful it may be since we crave America more deep down inside. I feel it would be tough for some Filipinos to warm up to something like not only Bumilangit, but also something like Ashita no Joe. It would be really awkward to think that American superheroes and their ilk might eventually decline a lot in popularity, that non-American substitutes would inevitably take their place from then on.

Since I brought up hanfu before that when it comes to the loss of or eventual decline of American influence in fashion that under their new owners (in a way) Canada and the Philippines would follow Russia and China respectively from then on, which means whatever that’s trending in Russia will follow suit in Canada. Whatever that’s trending in China will follow suit in the Philippines, even if these are rather far from ideal at first. But I feel the loss of American influence in both countries if these were to go with Canada going to Russia and the Philippines going to China, that accepting the substitutes would be a very painful process to go through. Because they still want America to remain in their hearts in some way, they still want the real thing real badly. Maybe some American influence will remain, as God preserves a remnant for years to come.

Some secular American influence will remain as well, particularly pertaining to technology that it will remain for as long as it services Christian ministries around the world. If America were to get revoked from the planet for its evils, that Canada might suffer from a form of survivor’s guilt. Being a stronghold of what was an Anglophone North American civilisation for years to come, it would be in a really awkward position of being both Russia’s sole North American protectorate/territory after America’s disappearance and a reminder that there was a country called the United States of America, culturally speaking. It remains to be seen if nearly all American influence will be revoked in Canada or if some American influence were to remain there for long, most especially in terms of faith/religion and technology.

Possibly sports, music and the like but these are tentative, who knows if Canada will develop a stronger liking for football/soccer once US influence gets revoked there big time. Or the Philippines just the same even though the argument would be stronger in our case, because Filipinos aren’t genetically predisposed towards tallness on average. But even if you have some countries that are predisposed towards it, football takes basketball’s place in terms of popularity there. The most popular sport in both Europe and Africa is football, whereas American sports like baseball and basketball are only really popular in a handful of countries that are also under US jurisdiction like Japan and the Philippines. American imperialism much. Though this might change in the future, whether if these will remain or not.

And even then it’s going to change a lot once American influence either gets revoked or highly minimised the world over.

All You Need Is Love

There’s a prophecy concerning a possible famine coming to America and a worldwide famine, war and pestilence to the whole world as well, though it might vary depending on the respective country, but even then it does make one wonder what does one prioritise in life? It should be noted that America has had recurring issues with food insecurity, but one where it seems more comfortable resolving food insecurity issues elsewhere than on its own soil. Food insecurity is why some poor white people go about hunting animals, somebody even wondered if a certain Disney character went about hunting deer because he’s hungry as well. Alarmingly, though this was written in the distant past, Bible verses are weirdly timeless and applicable to today and tomorrow, but most especially regarding what famine does to some people, going so far to cannibalise their own relatives to survive.

It’s kind of easy to associate overabundance of food and obesity with America, but recurring food insecurity in America reveals a rather overlooked side. One that involves the lengths people go to find food, if exacerbated, people might eat their own pets and other people. One might grimly wonder if after charging East Asians of eating dogs that eventually white Americans might eat the same when becoming this desperate for food, a case of the plank in the eye whilst charging somebody of having something in them as well (I go through this from time to time), don’t judge or get judged yourself. It’s actually been suspected in Asian American circles that East Asians in the western mind are often charged with animal abuse regarding dogs and dog meat in particular, but when white people do something similar (in a way for white Germans when it comes to dog poisoning and shooting dogs) they get off scot free.

Even when these problems are already recurring controversies in German-speaking countries, this is often ignored in Anglophone discussions of animal cruelty. The countries that tend to be often charged with this in Anglophone discussions are oftentimes those from Eastern Europe, Africa and East Asia, which kind of ties into an othering of these places (i.e. they’re not like America) even when similar things can be said of other countries like Germany to an extent. This would be like wondering why Disney comics continue to be popular in German-speaking countries and continental Europe in general, in a way they’re not in the United States, the British Isles and Canada. Why do continental Europe, Africa and most of East Asia like football more than basketball? In a sense Germany’s actually very different from America, regarding dogs where the actual general attitude’s rather polarising.

And just as vexing as it is in the Bible where you have some Biblical passages of dogs being used for good (shepherding, divine comeuppance, helping people around) but it’s tempered by many more Biblical passages depicting them in a contrary light, dog predation has even been noted in the Bible before. I remember this sermon discussing about the same matter, leading to studies confirming the same thing. And then there’s this woman having a prophecy of more feral dogs eating people in North America, so it’s truly a case of beware of dogs. Then there’s the earlier association of dogs with witchcraft, which is also there in the Bible in a way just by mentioning these two together. It’s not lost on countries like Ghana and Cameroon, it was also there in Germany, France and Britain just the same. A general polarising attitude exists throughout Christianity where dogs would be used for good in monasteries and churches on one hand.

But on the other hand, especially among Pentecostals as well as Catholics and mainline denominations at some point, dogs are associated with evil spirits and witchcraft. Though it could be argued that a similar polarising sentiment exists among Americans, it’s to a lesser degree than in German-speaking countries. There was a controversial website called Gegenhund.org (Antidog) and it had a calculator where one could calculate how much does it take to poison a dog to death with, as well as a magazine for dog haters called Kot und Koeter (Poo and Pooches). Even if not all Germans dislike dogs but when you have frequent reports of hunters finding stray dogs problematic and peole out to poison dogs out of spite at any point, it seems Germany feels more uneasy around dogs at any point moreso than with America, in fact a lot moreso which is saying.

I remember this comment on a YouTube video about Taylor Swift wherein somebody pondered if a musician were to derive their power from the Devil, then what seems like a life of luxury and prestige is really a curse keeping them from coming to God. So if America is Mystery Babylon in a way no other country qualifies, despite coming close at times, then the things America popularised and innovated might also be curses in disguise. Something like say Hollywood, almost all the other cool stuff we get from America. Consumerism might not have originated in America, as similar things existed before in the Bible, it did however refine it into the permutation it takes on today. It should be noted that throughout the former Yugoslavia, there is concern over Americanisation.

If America is Mystery Babylon then we might already be living in a dystopia, where one champions such vices like infidelity (swinging, polyamory) and whether if you like it or not, homosexuality in its various permutations. Although both France and Sweden were among the earliest to legalise this, America pretty much refined it to a T, despite taking pride in its Christian heritage every now and then. Even when homosexuality’s not involved at all, nearly all other vices are glorified and even sanctified. In the case with something as unexpected as certain foods, you have people pointing out that they do evil sacrifices behind the scenes, along with secular suspicions of it being unhealthy that perhaps some other alternative’s needed. Then you have prophecies of fast food restaurants closing in the United States, looks like it’s already happening to an extent as of late.

There are Christians calling others in America to make their own foods (and possibly the entire world as well to an extent), should famine ever come to the US and maybe the world to a degree. Well it’s already happening in some places, though the worst might come to the United States of all countries. Admittedly my own family tends to make food at home, we rarely if ever order it from restaurants. Not even fast food restaurants at that, especially as of late though I’m uncertain if famine will ever come to the Philippines at all. Let alone on the scale America (our former coloniser) will be having due to its own sins, that if a famine does come to the US it would be really horrifying to read reports of Americans eating their own dogs, one would have to brace for reports of American women eating their own kids even.

Even if you exclude the religious or prophetic angle, America’s still held accountable by some circles for popularising vices. Whatever those may be but this involve an erosion of local cultures, promoting certain worldviews and ideologies incompatible with these cultures (especially those with a communist past like Croatia and Serbia), or what else they might be though they’re generally rather deleterious. Even AA Allen said that America was at the forefront of popularising, if not originating, such filth that would’ve been unthinkable even in European countries. France did house the infamous Marquis de Sade before, but America succeeded in popularising Sade-like scenarios in snuff videos and the like that would’ve been unthinkable even in 20th century France.

It’s bad that Denmark at some point banned a film starring a younger Shirley Temple for being depraved or something, which makes one wonder if America truly is Mystery Babylon. Whilst it’s true that America didn’t originate pornography, what is astonishing or rather disturbing is that America has this past as a Christian colony, yet openly condones and popularises porn magazines that it really was on its way to becoming a really evil country. It’s bad that America has this Christian past yet houses evil media franchises like The Omen, Hazbin Hotel, Daredevil and the like that since these stories involve glorifying the Devil in some manner, that it makes one wonder if America is really the headquarter of Satan on earth. The one thing that’s really surprising to me is that there are no Christians getting mad over Marvel’s Daredevil, despite his close resemblance to their worst enemy.

It’s even weirder that Marvel’s Daredevil is a Christian who apparently chooses to dress like the Devil, it would like if Marvel published the stories of somebody who dresses up as a Buddhist monk yet attends church and does Bible study, that it’s ultimately sending mixed messages. Poison and purity at the same time. Why on earth would somebody at Marvel write down the adventures of a Christian who chooses to dress like the Devil, yet also face no censure from Christians that it’s shocking why they have no issue with it to this day? If it’s offensive to publish the adventures of somebody who dresses like a Buddhist monk, yet attends church, does Bible study and celebrates nearly all Christian feast days, then it should be offensive to publish the adventures of a Christian who dresses like Satan and goes about having promiscuous sex. Not that Christians aren’t entirely sin-free, but it’s a very questionable choice on Marvel’s part.

Even before becoming a Christian, I always felt this kind of weird hypocrisy going on in Evangelical circles. Like they’re mad and against the world for promoting trading cards having demons in them, yet turn a blind eye to Marvel’s cartoon characters being demons who are even heroes at that. (I’m looking at you Satana, Damian Hellstrom and Illyana Rasputina.) Mad at Harry Potter for being anti-Christian, yet turn a blind eye to X-Men writers portraying Christian preachers in a negative light (something Harry Potter doesn’t do at all). Mad at comic books for having half-naked men in it, yet turn a blind eye to art books featuring naked women. This is why atheists can’t take Christianity seriously, especially with all this rampant hypocrisy going on, that it’s like Christians tend to cherry-pick certain things or justify them, even when they might as well be lying to themselves (the whole heart is wicked thing).

Somebody on Reddit said that many Christians are worldly, which is sadly very true for most of the part. It’s kind of unfortunate that American Christianity is very worldly, it wants to be against the world but also wants a piece of it that it’s really undecided which to stand on. Whilst worldly African Christians certainly do exist, from my personal experience they don’t seem particularly that preoccupied with what seems like socially acceptable versions of such books, as opposed to their counterparts in the west and also the Philippines (which is subjected to American influence). (I do struggle with double-mindedness from time to time to be honest.) American Christianity is pretty strange because it sits in a weird space between true piety and outright worldliness, wishing to abstain from the world but still wanting sanitised versions of worldly things. That Reddit poster went on saying that Christians have poor discernment, worse than they think it is.

Perhaps this might explain why American Christianity has a rather peculiar character, and anybody brought up in circles influenced by it (as it is in the Philippines) adopt this same peculiar worldliness. It’s like this with a number of Evangelicals in the Philippines where for every Evangelical who’re genuinely otherworldly, you have others who’re kind of knee-deep into this sort of thing. Averse to Harry Potter because it has magic and violence, yet turning a blind eye to other things having either one or both of them. I could be no different in some regards either, hard for me to say. But I suspect it’s generally hard to be truly set apart especially not only when your peers are worldly, but you yourself choose a lot of worldy things that it’s going to be hard actively going against it. So true repentance is a hard process in this case.

It’s like if you started out listening to secular podcasts, radio programmes and music a lot, but eventually coming to listen to more religious broadcasting and music instead, that you do find yourself changing. Maybe not as automatic as you wish to be, but it’s there in a way that drives you to God more. Same goes for reading not much religious literature to actively reading a lot more of it over time, as well as trying to overcome sin (it’s like this with me). America is in a really strange place because it wants to be as holy as it’s worldly, that its resulting fruit is a confusing mix of holiness and unholiness. As pious as they’re secular, a bizarre Christianity if there ever was one. I even said before American Christianity is very strange and different from Christianities in other countries, it’s not an organic part of a given culture the way it is in the Philippines, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda and Nigeria.

Nor is it the faith of a select few as it is in Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia, it is a strange beast that succeeded in conflating piety with right wing politics as to be largely inseparable for most, a curious beast that somehow succeeded in making greed look holy and compassion look unholy. Especially the latter towards immigrants and even single mothers in a way, whereas it seems more commonplace in American Christian thought to honour stay at home mothers more. From my own experience hanging out at German language, French language and Swedish language Christian websites, though the sentiment likely does exist, it’s not to the same degree as it is in America. If because many American Christians feel compelled to wage war on their enemies, even when God could handle problems better than they can.

American Christianity and the Christianities it influenced (like here in the Philippines), there’s the feeling of having to wage war on any threat imaginable. Like say a kind of distrust towards feminism, socialism, what else and so on, but also being oddly cozy with capitalism and materialism, that American Christianity comes off as a good deal worldlier than it sees itself as. Even moreso than other western countries (from my experience), culture wars are a feature of American life. It permeates American thought and religious life, where it seems generally Evangelicalism’s largely affiliated with the right. But other religions like Islam are affiliated with the left, if things like feminism are also leftist, then it’s guilt by association for many US Cbristians. The culture wars give American culture a highly contradictory character as to be very morally and spiritually unstable, unsure where to stand on.

Other countries aren’t any better to varying degrees, but when it comes to countries like Nigeria, Ghana and Russia, they seem more thoroughly and consistently right wing than the United States is. LGBT relationships are very much banned in these countries as well as media endorsing such relationships too, even China is very judicious when it comes to sexual and violent content. So much so it actively censors blood and bans depictions or rather suspicions of premarital sex among the youth in Japanese animations, America has done this before to some extent but it seems at this point it’d rather give uncensored portrayals to an audience seeking this sort of materials. American culture, despite its Christian basis, isn’t particularly judicious towards graphic content and would in fact be in the race to make it more graphic than it needs to be.

Interestingly even if Japan was ahead of America when it comes to very graphic animations, it’s behind America when it comes to very graphic video games. If it weren’t for America upping the ante when it comes to Mortal Kombat, Doom and Grand Theft Auto, then Japan wouldn’t have given it Devil May Cry, Silent Hill and what else in kind. If it weren’t for America upping the ante when it comes to explicit children’s literature, then other countries wouldn’t have followed suit either. It’s kind of weird to think in hindsight that some of the earliest young adult books like the ones featuring Nancy Drew weren’t particularly graphic, much less depict sympathetic teen mothers making love. But I do recall reading a young adult novel a lot about an African American teen mum doing this sort of thing, that if it were published decades earlier it would be deemed inappropriate immediately.

It’s kind of odd thinking that the first televised incarnation of the Addams Family got into hot water because both Morticia and Gomez Addams were very intimate with one another, even if it seems rather tame today compared to far more explicit depictions we have at present (the likes of Skins and Bridgerton come to mind). American culture seems to be on a spiritual downward spiral that no amount of reinstating conservative politicians will stop this, because America is Mystery Babylon and will be punished for transgressing a lot to the point of no return at all.

The end of America’s time

She has grown evil

She will be revoked

No more Babylon.

The dirt of Hollywood

When it comes to America, there are people who think it’s morally rotten to the core. Somebody like AA Allen said that American culture has a habit of both producing and popularising filth, that if America is Mystery Babylon then it makes sense it would house these abominations to begin with. Celestial even said that people get molested in Hollywood as part of these occult rituals to get rich and famous, though she pretty much mentioned one Disney alumna of the 1990s, that is Britney Spears though similar things can be said of others like her costar Christina Aguilera and then Sabrina Carpenter. All three women started out as wholesome and twee, especially with the former two very early on in their careers. If all three of them got sodomised and sodomy is one abhorrent sex act, then this might partly explain why they turned out this way.

Perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising why #MeToo happened in Hollywood, I remember reading somewhere that actresses are even made to sleep with directors to get to where they want to be. This should hint at something spiritually odious in Hollywood that not many realise, that these people get raped in sex acts as part of evil rituals designed to degrade them from the inside out. Even Beyonce herself isn’t spared from these sex acts, and quite horribly her own husband Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) even makes other people sleep with her. Like he even encourages this sort of cuckoldry onto himself, but he’s also a Satanist and and so is she in kind. A match made in Hell if there ever was one at all, if water attracts its own level then that’s why they’re like this.

The idea that Lady Gaga is in league with the Devil is not lost on other people, there are some people who say that the woman who’s getting ripped apart in Lady Gaga’s nightmare is Lady Gaga herself, portending what will happen to her in the afterlife. At any point where she could’ve turned to God, she ended up turning to false teachers more. It’s true that any celebrity can get saved, I’ve done this before to others in the past. But on the other hand, it does explain why Lady Gaga has a rather preternatural appeal that makes people think she’s much better than she really is. Like you have people saying that she’s a genius, but there are others who have her calibre yet don’t possess the fame she has. One thing that’s more plausible to secular people is that she had good connections before, she even wrote some songs for the band Pussycat Dolls.

My father said that there are filmmakers who might be more talented than their better known counterparts are, but barely gain traction in the film industry as they don’t have the connections needed to get by. It would be no different with Lady Gaga in a way as she’s connected to other people who made their mark in the music industry before, thus she’s able to have the popularity that truly struggling musicians wish to have. There could be Soundcloud musicians who’re far more talented than she is in the same things she’s famous for, but don’t gain the same traction as they never worked with another celebrity before, much less a better known one at that. A rather Kafkasque example (and one who’s most similar to Chappell Roan) is Katy Perry.

She came from a Christian family and started out as a Christian singer, but I remember her saying that her upbringing was too strict. Somebody else said that it’s likely something went wrong in the Perry household, given she is the daughter of a pastor herself. All these unrealistic expectations placed upon her had her questioning her faith eventually and going over to the dark side, I said that Chappell Roan’s like the 2020s version of Katy Perry in terms of upbringing and trajectory. If Katy Perry were to be starting out in the late 2010s, she would’ve been a lot more like Chappell Roan by then. My sister said that her parents do pray for it, as confirmed in this article. Both women’s cases are more sobering than infurirating, given they started out as Christians.

Backstreet Boys might be equal parts sobering and infurirating, in fact both at the same time, because of the way Brian Littrell chooses to lead his band and his own life. If actions and choices have consequences, then it shouldn’t come as a surprise that for a man who professes to be a Christian and yet makes his fans attend his band’s sponsored cruises, one of his bandmates is really a serial rapist and another is known to cheat on his ex-wife by dating his fans, that makes one wonder if Littrell made himself a stumbling block for not only his fans but also his bandmembers. The ones who personally know him better than fans do, that it would be horrifying if they have the audacity to show up as demons one day, then getting killed by a flood or something. If BSB members got sodomised, then Nick’s own mum Jane was onto something.

Lou Pearlman was noted to molest his trainees or employees (to borrow something from K-Pop because it’s practically no different), he even formed the Backstreet Boys as a synthesis of both New Kids On The Block (also derivative of an earlier black vocal group called New Edition) and the less wholesome Chippendale dancers. This might explain things like ‘Quit Playing Games With My Heart’, which is really alarming because this video was made when Nick Carter was legally a minor in other places. Even when Lou Pearlman didn’t molest Nick Carter, he still would’ve been inappropriate to him in another way. Backstreet Boys first got popular in Europe, where some countries like Britain, Ireland and Germany have a lower age of consent enough for Pearlman to get away with this, so Jane was really onto something.

Burk Parsons was set to join the Backstreet Boys and despite briefly entertaining thoughts of joining them, he decided against it to both honour God and his father’s wishes. Otherwise we could’ve gotten pornographic fanfiction featuring him and his would-be bandmembers, so he really did dodge a bullet by refusing to join them. Given writing pornographic stories about a celebrity amounts to writing pornographic stories about a stranger, it’s actually kind of creepy that somebody has sexual fantasies of a person they personally don’t know much. Projecting their sexual fantasies onto them, that should give you an idea of how unsettling this would’ve been to Burk if somebody wrote porn about him and his would-be bandmembers. It’s shocking why Brian Littrell never seemed to mind it much, since he’s a Christian himself.

But as what other people said, guys like him aren’t just arrogant but evil to the core. Or at least somebody who got worse over time because Littrell also wanted to join ministry himself, though unfortunately it seems his own contemporary Zac Hanson is living out what he wanted to do at some point. It’s wiser to do a Zac Hanson than a Brian Littrell in the sense of committing social suicide by accident to draw closer to God, as he turns mishaps into blessings, than to deliberately commit spiritual suicide by wallowing a lot in the attention fans give to him and his band. It’s perhaps befitting why Brian Littrell seems to condone the song ‘Everybody’ despite knowing it blasphemes God, that no sooner or later his band will face many more scandals but ones that reveal that all members have affairs with their fans.

This will be big news in the future when this gets revealed, perhaps it’s rather disturbing why Brian Littrell chooses to stay with them and never rebuking them if they sin. And if all of them have affairs with fans that will be publicised in the future, it’s as if they exploit their fans for sexual gratification. It’s actually kind of abusive of them to do this to their fans, but if sodomy’s shown to corrupt people, then it shouldn’t be surprising why they turned out to be this way. Burk Parsons’s father knew how corrupting American showbiz is to people and Celestial’s words confirm it in a way, but one particularly tragic instance from the late 2000s would be the Jonas Brothers. They also come from a Christian family and likely were sodomised, to the point of drifting away from the faith.

At any point where Nick Jonas could’ve married a nice Christian woman, he married a practising Hindu instead. Unequally yoked, he could practise Hinduism for real. He is in the early stages of doing it, it would be grim he might convert to Hinduism for real. Sabrina Carpenter is one recent example of a Disney star who became less wholesome over time, her early 2000s counterpart would be Christina Aguilera. If there’s nothing new under the sun, both women do have a habit of blaspheming God a lot. That’s in addition to having a very sexualised public image, if I’m not mistaken Christina Aguilera’s fine with dating women. Sabrina Carpenter does no differently in some regards, save for a lack of interest in women. But there’s something kind of wicked about these women.

Or at least the way they carry themselves actually makes them repulsive to men seeking long-term marital partners, women they’d bring home to their mothers and fathers (parents in other words). These two are also the sort of women certain men would happily bash for being promiscuous and oversexualised, but it still points to a possibility that some men really do want good, decent women around in their lives. Kind of makes you wonder why the tradwife phenomenon took root, though precedents to it have been formenting before. Admittedly not all tradwives truly live up to what they want to be, let alone all the time, but the other extreme’s not any better either. Taylor Swift has actually been suspected of doing witchcraft before, as well as doing things to the contrary.

Even then there was something fishy about her girl next door reputation, regarding her dating history until now, that it seems she wasn’t that wholesome to those who have the misfortune of being around her on a bad day. An even more shocking revelation with celebrity fandoms and the like is that it feels like a cosmic prank pulled by the Devil where people make idols out of the most unlikable and insufferable people one would meet on a bad day in person, particularly some celebrities with really obnoxious fans. Similar things could be said of Nick Carter, given how ridiculously defensive a number of his fans are of him. Even without the spiritual angle being involved, Mr Carter would still be kind of repulsive to some people. Especially some women who can’t stand that such men pay more mind to video games than to relationships.

This is particularly true that if it weren’t for him being a celebrity and all that nostalgia involved, many women wouldn’t find him that attractive when it comes to his hobbies. (This brings new meaning to the song ‘Quit Playing Games With My Heart’, especially for women who can’t stand their men playing video games.) Celebrity culture still feels like a cosmic prank by Satan where people fall for the most unlikable and insufferable folks in town, whilst gossip is technically a sin it doesn’t help when you have people already distrusting the nature of American showbiz that ultimately there’s no point in liking such people to begin with. Whilst it’s true that Jesus and his cohorts weren’t always liked by others either, for his disciples this is sometimes due to their own sins that got them there, but celebrity culture is another matter.

It’s basically glamourising the lives of the rich and suspicious, in the sense that people will always suspect them of being annoying, abusive, mentally ill, promiscuous or gay, it’s going after really unlikable people. Angelamarie Ucci said that idols do have the ability to disappoint people and it has happened to me before multiple times, particularly disliking what I like, and although I do pray for these people, it does make you wonder if there are others who might fulfill this ideals better. If Gerard Way is everything fans make Nick Carter out to to be, since the latter could’ve easily joined Gamergate if he never joined a boy band and was a young man in the 2010s due to him being exposed to sexist media in his youth and him being a massive rapist to boot, similar things can be said of other people in a way just the same.

Or better still God in the sense of somebody who’s actually good, given it seems a number of these celebrities seem to be unrepentant criminals. Be it Michael Jackson, Nick Carter, Simon Le Bon, David Bowie and who else, Celestial said that Michael Jackson sacrifices people to the Devil and such people shouldn’t even bother listening to his music to begin with. Angelica Zambrano said that Michael Jackson made a deal with the Devil, alarming he’s in hell so his afterlife is far from satisfying. There are also other people who have visions of seeing celebrities in hell, including somebody like Joey Ramone for instance. He’s from the band The Ramones, they were historically more popular in Britain and Latin America than they were in America, they also highly rejected God when somebody wanted them saved. So that’s why all the original members died.

The only surviving members at this point are the substitutes like Marky Ramone, Clem Burke and Ritchie Ramone, those who could be saved and repent at this point whilst they still have a chance to live to meet him through somebody. I guess the real reason why people fear death, including myself, especially the fear of themselves dying is really wanting to live in an endles present without much regard for their future. Much less an afterlife in mind, where the Bible talks about the narrow road to Heaven and the wide road to Hell. There’s something oddly and interestingly harrowing about the actual afterlives of celebrities like Joey Ramone and Marilyn Monroe, where it’s one thing to be immortalised in secular media, it’s another to discover where they actually went to once they died.

Marilyn Monroe also rejected God and then she died young, she also led a very ungodly lifestyle beforehand. I’ve rejected God before and faced the music a lot, but that’s sometimes due to my desire to keep a cool head. It’s kind of hard trying not to commit a sin and then do another, like either I’m in bondage to my sins or that I rely on my own efforts to get it right. Even then it seems wise to think of celebrity culture as a prank pulled by Satan, where it seems the biggest role models in pop culture/mass culture are also the most spiritually and morally suspicious. I remember a radio preacher saying that people like Brian Littrell are wicked, it would be even more alarming to think that Brian and the rest of the Backstreet Boys are all destined to go to Hell for whatever they’re doing at present.

This revelation or epiphany goes hand in hand with all of them turning out to have had affairs with their fans, that it does make one wonder if they actually sexually exploit them for their own gratification. It makes more sense to think of groupies as victims who find themselves exploited by their favourite musicians for certain favours, but this means these musicians are practically grooming them to be their playthings. It’s like if Nick Carter has a secret account somewhere online to groom one fan to be his mistress, despite being a married man with children, coupled with him being absent from his house for days that he manages to lead a double life that’ll be found out in due time. The one thing more horrifying than both Nick and AJ having affairs with their fans is learning that Kevin, Howie and Brian also do the same thing too.

The way the Backstreet Boys treat women could be misogynistic in its own right, in the sense that you have people saying that the Backstreet Boys would always look for women to date in their prime, Brian Littrell having the audacity to photograph his wife’s buttocks, Nick Carter raping women and AJ McLean having affairs with his own fans prior to his divorce, that in reality they’re just as bad as the Beatles were. Somebody like Gerard Way has the audacity to refuse making women undress for him, even if he does slip up he seems like the sort of guy who drinks his respect women beverages a lot more often than Nick Carter does, essentially the person the latter gets made out to be. Something tells you what the Backstreet Boys actually think of women when their members have watched porn, abuse women, cheat on their wives with their fans and objectify their wives, that it’s far from feminist.

They most likely think of women as playthings who exist to gratify them, not when they start rebuking them of being cruel that’s when their actual attitudes to women come into play. Gerard Way doesn’t do this often but it seems BSB fans are some of the most defensive people I’ve ever encountered, like some of them are in denial that their favourites do abuse people. And others are in denial that fellow fans do make porn based on the BSB themselves, it’s even noted somewhere online that such stories were called visuals before. Given Brian Littrell made the conscious decision to join a boy band instead of ministry that this is what he sowed: popularity with fans, then comes drug addictions and porn addictions, then comes rape allegations. It seems Brian Littrell actually prefers the world over the word of God, that this explains why he never brings his fans to church.

Though similar things could be said of Ace of Base in a way, but the difference is that this band’s been defunct for a long time. Additionally Jenny Berggren sings in church these days, whereas Brian Littrell continues to be in the secular music industry. Zac Hanson, who’s much younger than him, serves in church as a deacon after being rejected by his own fans. They’re not without their own faults and I do pray for them to stop doing bad things themselves, keep them from doing worse and so on, but the Backstreet Boys is really a tragic example of what happens when a Christian elects to do wrong and be of the world. Or the Jonas Brothers for another matter as they have pastors for parents, that it’s going to be alarming if Nick Jonas ever converts to Hinduism in earnest. It might be possible to prevent them from doing worse through intercessions, but it’s disturbingly plausible for him to become a Hindu for real.

It would be alarming if there’s a place in Hell for both bands to reside in, it would be just as horrifying to think that somebody like Michael Hutchence is also in Hell. He was the singer of this band called INXS and this is one of the bands I’ve encountered whilst watching Channel V (a music channel not unlike MTV) when I was younger, from the outset he seemed to have it all. Wealth, lots of adoring fans, chart-topping hits, touring nearly all over the world, yet he struggled with demons. Not just the colloquial meaning of having problems, but also that he alluded to the King of Demons in some songs like ‘Devil Inside’ and ‘Original Sin’, that makes you wonder if he himself is of the world. I remember a pastor discussing about the same things about Chester Bennington (and implicitly about my cousin), that it seems the worldly life isn’t holy and isn’t worth admiring either.

No surprise why these celebrities openly struggle with drug addiction, sex addiction, porn addiction, alcoholism and the like, that it’s one thing to know that they’re human. It’s another to make paragons out of people who really aren’t in person, most especially people like Nick Carter, Michael Jackson and David Bowie regarding the subject of rape, that it’s not surprising why a good number of people don’t trust or like showbiz. It’s not always that it’s unintelligent or whatever but there’s really no point in going after public figures that other people don’t really fully trust, if such magazines are to be believed in a way, that it seems somebody like Nick Carter and Taylor Swift were kind of moral failures themselves in their own right. Others like Nick Jonas, Chappell Roan and Katy Perry are kind of depressing in a way, regarding that they all come from Christian families and become anti-Christian themselves eventually.

If Satan was the angel of music and got kicked out for his arrogance, maybe it’s not surprising why showbiz is highly susceptible to his influence. So susceptible that it’s actually common for aspiring musicians to turn to the occult and/or become arrogant in a way, it’s not just rockers that turn to the occult to get their 15 minutes of fame. So do pop musicians, electronic musicians (I remember this book called Electronic Punks where somebody like Maxim turned to a palmist to know what his future could be when he wasn’t a well-established musician), rappers and even classical musicians like Niccolo Paganini (pagan), that secular musicians making nice with the Devil is the norm. It’s possible to pray for your favourite musicians to stop doing these things, making them read the Bible and so on. I actually prayed for this band called The Prodigy, where Maxim’s from, and there were signs of it getting answered.

First, I had a dream of them in church. Then comes encountering somebody on 444ProphecyNews with the same surname as Maxim’s own bandmate, Liam Howlett (it’s surreal), and then there’s a dream of them swimming around in a building, hinting at their baptism. Since I also prayed for everybody in Ace of Base to get saved, first was that one of them is a Christian, then comes prophecies with keywords also found in their songs and then a devotional called Prisoners of Hope, which is also both a Bible verse and another keyword in one of their own songs. So these prayers got answered in very surreal ways, I even have a document called Of God and Maxim Guns: Presbyterianism in Nigeria, another unexpected answer. The one thing even more surreal than these things is seeing members of these bands together in church, like I said I had a dream of the Prodigy members in church.

I guess if this is true, it’s better to stay away from the world. Not necessarily in near total seclusion, but being more judicious and selective with what you read (this is what I strive to do), listen, associate with and so on as to avoid being badly influenced for long. I’ve been exposed to an anti-Christian environment for so long that it’s going to take time to overcome them, I even think some of the Newsboys’ problems stem from being too friendly with the secular world that makes it harder for one member to overcome his own sins, having a road pastor helps to keep him in check. But it’s still better to actively avoid secular venues, if it makes it harder to overcome certain sins. It’s been like this with me before and I do my hardest to try to avoid these things, but this means being this selective with what I consume. If it means letting go of certain things, then it’s going to help me more in the long run.

And perhaps if the showbiz world is truly wedded to the Devil, it’s not a surprise why it aims to be as filthy as possible in many senses of the word. Christina Aguilera didn’t just blaspheme God when she was younger, she’s also terribly promiscuous and sex-obsessed that it does make one wonder why some men prefer to have more wholesome women in their lives instead. It’s common to have women complain about their menfolk having affairs and watching porn, though the reverse has to be considered in light of things like wives having to submit to their husbands, that one can make an argument of men being similarly grieved whenever their wives have affairs of sorts. It does make one wonder why the tradwife thing happened, deep down inside it seems some people yearn for a world where women do willingly follow their husbands’ and boyfriends’ better judgements.

But I feel this is lost on some women that it amounts to being boybossed around a lot, why there’s a Bible verse stating that it’s better to be single than to live with an annoying broad, that makes one wonder why some men wouldn’t want to marry Christina Aguilera. Or why her own marriage to one man’s short lived, with her being more sexually attracted to women than men, it seems her marriage seemed performative and perhaps no sooner or later, she might come out as a lesbian. Then she’ll epitomise two misogynistic stereotypes at once: the sex-obsessed attention grabbing woman and the man-hating lesbian, where it seems some people’s suspicions of feminism being full of man-hating lesbians were not entirely off. With some reports of Aguilera herself being open to relationships with women, it seemed she never really could handle becoming a submissive housewife type.

Again another example of the showbiz industry promoting worldliness and lies where it seems okay to write songs about being single despite being married in reality (see also Beyonce Knowles and now Taylor Swift), it seems okay to be in an unhappy marriage with a man whilst pursuing adulterous relationships with women, it seems okay to have affairs with your fans and so on. It seems people like Christina Aguilera were never really good role models for women, much less women seeking lifelong relationships with men so I don’t think Taylor Swift’s entirely to blame for this, even though she’s a more relevant example at present. It’s one thing to criticse Tay for dumping one guy after another until she met somebody she actually likes, it’s another to deal with that Christina was never really that into guys and being more sexually attracted to women might explain why her relationships with men don’t go well.

Celestial even said that Beyonce’s actually bisexual because she had affairs with both men and women alike, that it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that Christina Aguilera herself could be in the lines of this as well. She’s even done the same things as Taylor Swift did, that it seems Aguilera wouldn’t be the best role model to look up to when seeking lifelong monogamous relationships with men either. Actually the argument would be stronger in her case, because she admits to being sexually attracted to women and she even has a picture by Bansky of the late Queen Elizabeth as a lesbian. So she’s not going to be a good role model for women seeking lifelong relationships with men, especially if her own relationships with men tend to be short-lived and a possibly stronger attraction to women to boot.

Although idolising the likes of say Jenny Berggren, Tracey Thorn and the like wouldn’t be any better either, or Taylor Swift for this matter but the main difference is that Taylor Swift never seemed to struggle with same-sex attraction (I kind of do from time to time). Like if you want to be in a lifelong relationship with one man, if Taylor Swift isn’t the right one but so is Christina Aguilera (well, it’s worse in her case really), that you’re better off not idolising her whilst being on the quest to be with a loving husband for long. Even then it seems those in showbiz really do kind of glamourise and even popularise such bad habits, that people are far better off not idolising them for long. Even if not all celebrities do this for long, they’re needles in a haystack. And the showbiz industry really is a cosmic prank by Satan to beguile people with.

Return To Me

I feel like God is telling that due to the sins of certain East Asian nations like Japan, South Korea and the Philippines that all three of them will forcibly come under China, Japan for repeatedly rejecting God and both the Philippines and South Korea for deliberately indulging in lust, blasphemy and idolatry, that it’s practially God using evil to deal with evil. The latter two even have substantial Christian populations, which is even more disturbing why do they choose to do these to begin with. It’s also a kind of return to form for China as it used to influence much of East Asia to varying degrees in the past, that if God can give back more than one lost then it’s very much the case with China.

China actually has a growing population and since it’s sympathetic to Africa and Africa returns this in kind, so this is in line with what God’s giving to it in a way. The next logical step to this restoration is to actually influence East Asia again and although it already is to a degree, getting these three under its umbrella is a logical progression. Mind you both Japan and Korea were this heavily influenced by China, which was more evident in the past especially with Korea having used Chinese characters before switching over to Hangul. All three countries use a name order where the family name comes before the personal name, use chopsticks and eat similar foods together, so on and so forth pointing out to China’s status as a superpower before, and it’s getting restored as of late.

A more shocking development is when God’s set to wipe out nearly all American influence permanently in countries like South Korea, Japan and the Philippines, mostly due to America being such a corrupting country and it being Mystery Babylon, as to warrant its downfall anytime soon in the future. God might even make North Korea reunite with South Korea along with China in a way, as the former two used to be one and the same country together. They’re only divided on ideological lines, as South Korea was created to contain the spread of socialism onto the rest of the Korean peninsula. If God allows China to defeat America, then he’ll allow China to get its allies as comeuppances for their own sins. God will even make China make North Korea reunite with South Korea, get both Japan and the Philippines under its thumb to spite America and so on.

This results in the emergence of something similar to both the Soviet Union and European Union known as Greater China, as it will include all the East Asian countries together with China at the centre. The following countries are China itself, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos with Mongolia remaining neutral to avoid fights between China and Russia, though Mongolia might willingly join the former in some way. Also many of them are more densely populated than their western counterparts are, so what they lack in something, they’ll make it up for something else by having lots of people around instead. The GC satellites are mostly in Africa, South Asia and the Pacific, though South Asia might be more analogous to Yugoslavia.

But in the sense of having a third way between Russia and China, eventually getting joined by West Asia in a way. Even then geopolitical alliances are shifting in ways that would’ve been unthinkable before, and there’s a chance the Philippines might actually become more sympathetic to China should America stumble real badly. Something like both a natural disaster (in the form of an earthquake), a failing economy and a forthcoming civil war not seen in years, all working in tandem with one another to undermine the United States’s standing as a superpower. Even more shocking is that a good number of Americans know that their country’s really in decline, so this might explain the profoundly nostalgic feel in contemporary US culture.

Whether if it’s US bands reliving their pasts, or continuing past media brands, it feels this way. Even if America were to remain in any way, it would be very different that at worst it might become everything it hates about other countries (the whole speck in your eye thing in the Bible), at best it would have to accept becoming a lesser power and at most, a middle power in the future. The best case scenario is when America does remain in some way, but as a middle power this time around. The worst case scenario is when it gets revoked from the planet in some way, after experiencing a highly catastrophic economic collapse and coming under both Russian and Chinese rule. But the worst case scenario’s far likelier to happen due to the nature of Biblical prophecy, that America might get revoked forever in the future.

In the aftermath of losing America, there will be two superpowers reigning on the planet. There will be an East Asian analogue to both the Soviet Union of yore and the European Union of present, one called Greater China and consisting of all the countries in East Asia (both Northeast and Southeast). The Philippines will be a very different country from now, one more highly influenced by and allied with China both culturally and ideologically. If because American influence has been largely wiped out for good here from then on in the future, admittedly I feel the Philippines is too westernised for its own good so this is God’s way of answering this prayer.

But in a way where Filipinos (including myself) might no longer use English often anymore, especially when talking to fellow Filipinos in the future, that this is where my Tagalog skills might improve this time. Albeit in a way I never expected, but I’ve been listening to sermons in Tagalog more often so this might be helping things. A very different world from then on.

My body, my choice, my consequence

It should be noted that the Bible does recognise the concept of free will, which somebody is free to decide what they want to do, though it comes with consequences. It’s like if somebody decided to smoke heavily, they risk damging their vocal chords a lot. I’ve bad choices in an attempt to do right, resulting in missing sermon broadcasts and link rot from time to time, to be honest sometimes it’s permanent. It is possible to do a version of my body, my choice but centred around smoking, though the only problem is that the consequences they make for these choices would be more readily noticeable to people. Including heavily damaged vocal chords to the point of being unable to speak articulately as much as they want or wish to do, much less rant loudly in public about this and that.

If I’m not mistaken, pop singer Dalida had an abortion but to the point of rendering her sterile for life. It’s possible to still be able to give birth after an abortion or a miscarriage, as it is with one family member eventually. Even if the consequences aren’t permanent in some way, it’s going to be there whether if it’s good or bad. If you make an active decision to stop drinking alcohol, it would take time to recover but if you make an active effort to not drink, then you’re doing a lot to help yourself and others even if the effects still linger to some extent and even if your attempts sometimes backfire. If you make an active decision to slim down, it’s going to be hard and even painful at times, if sometimes this requires surgery to remove extra fat (and the skin that goes with it).

Even if not all consequences are bad, they result from choices being made. If you make a good choice, you get good consequences and vice versa, it’s not that the Bible is anti-choice but what you make affects things, for good or ill. It’s been common in my case where if I do something wrong, link rot happens and sometimes it’s permanent. It’s one of these things, but it’s far from the only one. And even then what we do affects others for good or ill, that if you judge people a lot then you get judged too as it is with me before. Or if you hang out with bullies, you begin to bully others yourself (as it is with me and my cousin). Worse, you get bullied yourself eventually as it is with me before too. There are even some people who say that the legalisation of abortion also went with the sexual revolution as much as it did with second wave feminism, thus leading to the situations we’re in.

Mind you, the word ‘gift’ also means poison in German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish, so God does have a way with words and if abortion is the anti-life gift to humanity, it also doubles as its poison pill. Kind of related to this is that when the late singer Dalida had an abortion, it also rendered her sterile for the rest of her life. It’s possible for God to open wombs like he did to both Rachel and Hannah when both women wanted children real badly, but when it comes to the subject of abortion he could also close it. And quite frightening this could be the logical punishment for the sexual revolution, if STDs and the like aren’t bad enough, perhaps something worse is to come. And perhaps the sexual revolution was really an idiotic move made to look better than it actually was and still is to this day. Even somebody like Louise Perry admitted it didn’t do good for women, the more she worked with rape victims.

Maybe Andrea Dworkin was right about porn being harmful and misogynistic, it even normalises degrading sex acts. Feminism is technically about female empowerment and gender equity, but it seems the more certain schools of thought gain traction in feminist circles, the more Balkanised it got over time. Perhaps quite depressingly sex-positive feminism enables misogyny in a way anti-porn feminism doesn’t, since the latter has the good sense to know something’s amiss (also noted in the Bible just the same). It’s not just porn for men that’s problematic, porn for women can be just as bad. Whether if it popularises racist stereotypes, misogyny in the form of demonising women whenever a gay couple’s around and also abusve relationships, that it can also inculcate bad messages just the same. Just because a woman wrote it doesn’t make it any less harmful.

I remember one YouTube commenter saying that if somebody dresses immodestly and is mad that they drew unwanted attention, it’s like if somebody poured gasoline on themself and is upset why they’re burning. Both pregnancies and STDs are both byproducts of careless sex, if the Bible knows there is joy in being single then this is likely why. Whether or not something like masturbation and merely lusting count seem hard, but they’re just as problematic like if somebody got addicted to something then it consumes them real badly as I’ve done something similar to this before and it resulted in losses like a dying dog or something like that. It’s like if somebody’s married but continues to read porn that they risk losing their spouse in some fashion and if they still do this, then it’s going to happen anyways. (This happened to my cousin and also to me in a way twice.)

I guess if somebody were to make a choice with their body, then they’ll also risk the effects as well. Like if you want to lose weight, you’ll have to starve yourself and exercise hard enough to get skinnier. And you could take surgery to go the extra mile too, if you neglect to brush your teeth you get cavities (it’s like this with me). And if you want to get dental implants, you’ll get operated on in some way. And you also have to be tranquilised to make it less painful too. So this is the real downside to my body, my choice in the sense that if one were to decide what to do with their body, they’ll actually have to suffer for what they will or want to do. Sometimes it’s something good like losing weight or even getting dental implants, sometimes it’s something bad like smoking or drinking a lot. If Jesus is a physician who heals the sick, then abortion is related to health. But in the sense of risking things like death and sterility, sometimes in ways that are worse in reality.

A Harry situation

When it comes to whether or not Harry Potter actually introduces people to the occult, I’ll tell you something about this. Whilst I didn’t really become a Harry Potter fan, I kind of got interested in alchemy. It’s like the dark twin of chemistry, to put it this day, though as of late I outgrew it. And even if Harry Potter stories don’t necessarily introduce people to the occult, there’s really something about it that kind of riles up Christians in ways stories like Narnia and even Discworld don’t to the same extent. (The Discworld saga’s written by an atheist.) I remember somebody else saying on Facebook that in the world of Narnia, magic is really only derived from the main God figure in the form of Aslan and what Jadis does is a bootleg form, in the same way Satan appears to have power over people but it’s derivative of God’s own.

And another admitted to developing nightmares from watching the Harry Potter films alone, coupled with a number of characters getting away with being defiant towards authority, that makes it more annoying than it would be for things like Narnia and Discworld. If magic were connected to rebellion that it shouldn’t be surprising why some of the HP characters get away with this, additionally I have a cousin who was into it and admitted to being very rebellious to her parents before. Even if Harry Potter may not always introduce people to the occult, it still normalises or popularises other or even related vices like defiance in a way. I remember this other Facebook user saying that many of the HP characters get away with being defiant to authority figures, which they consider that a bad influence to kids.

And then you have a prophecy of God revoking things relating to Harry Potter in some way that if people don’t want their kids to be either into magic or defiance, then you’d really have to throw out the baby with the bathwater here as these are interconnected in the Bible. JK Rowling, the author, now wants to seek God in earnest. She may not be able to replicate the wild success she had with Harry Potter, but if God tells us to look forward then she could end up doing something else altogether when she comes under Him. Even then it seems the Harry Potter series really did set a bad example for kids to follow, not just because of the magic involved but also questionable ethics to boot. A secular blogger said that once the Harry Potter stories got darker, certain past actions seem far worse in hindsight. To the point where it even hurt the quality.

Even one Harry Potter fan admitted that JK Rowling was kind of flawed as a writer, having preferred showy displays of ability over more nuanced but trickier to pull off actions in storytelling. Spiritual or literary, it seems Harry Potter’s like a good example of something that seems light and cheery but ends up darker over time. It kind of gets compounded by JK Rowling’s own struggle with mental illness and from my experience, trying to be a good Christian whilst combatting it makes it harder to do right, even when you wanted to. One of my aunts admitted she’s not a fan of it because it’s too violent, but you could make an argument for it being too depressing, especially as time goes on. It’s also worsened by that JK Rowling actually got into two occult disciplines when writing Harry Potter at all, but most especially astrology and alchemy that it does explain things.

One would wonder if JK Rowling wrote a version of Harry Potter where she had never gotten into astrology and alchemy, being merely content with folklore and mythology that this one would’ve been less spiritually suspicious and possibly a bit lighter in tone to boot. This version of Harry Potter would most likely have characters merely encountering supernatural creatures, almost comparable to Pokemon in a way (also inspired by mythology). But something else would take its place as something that’ll rile up the parents and clergy a lot, something like X-Men in my opinion as I felt that there was a double standard between the two before. In the sense that at the height of Harry Potter’s popularity in the 2000s, I personally felt that people should be just as mad at X-Men as they would with Harry Potter.

X-Men even promotes some of the same things as Harry Potter like being rebellious to authority, but it goes further than that by depicting most Protestants as a hateful lot with the lone sympathetic Protestant Rahne Sinclair getting brainwashed twice. That and having a demonic heroine in the form of Illyana Rasputina that if Harry Potter was merely just a story of a schoolboy and his friends encountering supernatural beings with no nods to alchemy and astrology whatsoever, that this is the one situation where X-Men would rightfully stir up the ire from both clergy and parents the way Harry Potter got in real life. It deserves to be hated by the clergy as much as they do with Harry Potter, since it has some of the same things they object to in Harry Potter and more than that by depicting demonic characters as heroic and likable even.

It even has heroic characters indulging in affairs, heroic characters killing people out of revenge, heroic characters who continue to hold onto grudges, heroic characters being promiscuous and so on, that it’s actually just as bad as Harry Potter is. Or for another matter Rocko’s Modern Life when it comes to adultery, that it’s shocking in hindsight why my parents were fine with it but not with Invader Zim even when there are no IZ characters who indulge in it this often (but then again I know very little about IZ so). One would only wonder where others got the idea that adultery is okay from, if it weren’t for media like Rocko’s Modern Life not only popularising but also glorifying it in some way. Or even X-Men for another matter as there are characters who do cheat on their spouses thrice, characters who’re promiscuous and so on.

We can’t rewrite the past, but we can cultivate a better future from learning from it. And in the case with undoing bad childhood influences, it’s about time to cultivate a Godlier future and afterlife from then on. I suspect people fear death is really because they want to live in an endless now, instead caring about what their futures portend going as far as what their afterlives are concerned. It would even be a bit revealing to assume that the X-Men comics might even inculcate a hatred of Christianity onto people, as it is with others (including one atheist who got into JJBA), if because it kind of promotes it especially during Chris Claremont’s run. Not helped by the presence of an anti-mutant preacher in the form of William Stryker (who was made into a senator in other media), that it does insinuate that Christianity is fundamentally wrong.

I was kind of anti-Christian before and still sometimes reject God to my detriment and I was into X-Men, my father was into X-Men and is very anti-Christian himself. Another is an X-Men fan and very anti-Christian herself. If the X-Men stories are openly anti-Christian to a fault, then it shouldn’t be surprising this is where people learn to be anti-Christian from. Perhaps unconsciously so, but it does explain things. If bad company corrupts good character, then this is why people turn out this way. Like let’s say I learnt to bully people from being around bullies, then getting bullied myself and my cousin learnt to bully from being around bullies herself just the same. So bad company really does hurt good character, it makes harder to unlearn vices as it is with me before.

Or even my cousin in a way, but it still explains things. To the point where we’d be better off without those, and why both Harry Potter and X-Men are to be avoided.

Anastasia, tell me who you are?

GI Joe is a American ACG (animation, comics/cartooning and gaming)/toy brand that’s not ashamed of wearing its anti-Russian and anti-Soviet sentiments on its sleeves, which is particularly obvious when it comes to the character of Anastasija Cisranova (technically her name would be spelt Anastasia instead). Even if she initially wasn’t intended to be Russian (or from anywhere else in both the Eastern bloc and Soviet Union) and she merely got involved with the wrong people, given the prevailing anti-Soviet atmosphere of American culture during the height of the Cold War that she inevitably turned out this way. From what I’ve read, Anastasia doesn’t seem particularly openly communist. But it lends to a kind of plausible deniability and moreso during the height of the Cold War, that even when the Baroness doesn’t openly enspouse socialist politics herself, there’s a kind of guilt (or distrust) by association that by being a Russian who’s affiliated with an enemy organsiation, she’s immediately suspect from the get-go.

American culture seems to be profoundly distrusting of the things that oppose and challenge it in some way or another, even if the sentiment’s not unique to America itself, it’s really a feature of American culture. It’s not hard to see that exposure to such media like the GI Joe ACG canon would inculcate this sort of mindset onto unsuspecting minds in their formative years and beyond, even if it may not always be the case for all GI Joe fans, it risks feeling this way for others. The heroic characters in GI Joe are almost always American, in line with American interventionism when it comes to opposing whatever comes in its way. GI Joe as a toy brand was introduced more than a decade after the Korean War, which was instigated to contain the spread of socialism onto the rest of the Korean peninsula. Both North Korea and South Korea were one and the same nation for centuries.

So it’s very recent that they are bifurcated on ideological lines, with South Korea being as aggressively capitalistic as America is. North Korea remains socialist to this day, though there are prophecies of these two reuniting as one again. (That and the shocking possibility that the United States is Mystery Babylon, the end-times country said to corrupt the planet with its abominations.) It’s not hard to see how and why this would’ve affected GI Joe and it got more obvious in the 1980s, around the time Anastasia Cisranova first showed up. Like I said before, Ms Cisranova doesn’t appear to be socialist according to those who actually know a thing or two about it. But due to being a Russian who’s affiliated with an enemy organisation called Cobra that it becomes telling that she could harbour opposing politics and views to those who’re opposed to either Russia or socialism.

In the wider American ACG canon, pro-American characters are always good. Whether if they’re Captain America or GI Joe, they are always going to be heroes. This is in line with the way America saw itself as for years: the hero of the world who has to save the day from any enemy. The Captain Canuck canon (about a Canadian superhero) is the only place within the wider North American ACG canon where you can find a pro-American villain, but that’s due to America forcing Canada to join it that Canada wouldn’t comply with it anymore. The profound anti-Soviet sentiment in America throughout the mid-20th century up to the 1980s strongly shaped the trajectory of Anastasia Cisranova under the pen of Larry Hama and then future writers, that even when she merely started out as a woman who joined a terrorist community it’s still obvious that she’ll be a presumed Communist at any point.

So it’s not a stretch to take things further by making her Russian later on, as Russia was communist in the 20th century. Even when Russia is capitalistic at this point, given the prevailing anti-Russian sentiment in American culture that Anastasia Cisranova will almost always be the enemy, even if it’s not always the case with other GI Joe stories (but on the condition that she joins an American team, that’s by assimilating into American culture herself). One might wonder if it were possible to create a Baroness like character but one who harbours the opposite politics and ideology, whatever she could’ve implicitly endorsed within the GI Joe canon. Maybe such a character already exists in the Russian and possibly Chinese fiction canons, but given other countries are beginning to oppose America like Canada that perhaps it’s a good time for this villain to emerge.

Let’s say that a character named Colin Sallow is kind of imperialistic, monarchist and capitalistic, he’s also a villain too or at least one that turned out as such when he killed somebody else. He believes that Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Myanmar are far better off when they’re under British hands, he loves his newly ennobled British aunt (whom she returns in kind), he’s more sympathetic to the rich than he is to the poor, wants to privatise healthcare and wants Canada to unite with America. He’s a young budding politician who’s openly capitalistic and imperialistic, but I feel he wouldn’t be acceptable in American media. Due to Donald Trump’s strong grip on America that he’ll remind others of the late Charlie Kirk, an outspoken conservative politician (and Christian who died, because he got involved in the wrong company). Or worse, a less flattering portrayal of the same.

Then again it gets complicated by many factors: Canada’s right next to America, so it’s going to be tricky getting away with such a villain. At the same time, America’s in decline so Colin Sallow being a pro-American villain might be doable to an extent, though it’s a little harder to pull off without offending Americans at any point. The best case scenario is to make him merely monarchist, one who believes British neo-imperialism is a good thing. So this could explain why it’s so hard coming up with a pro-American version of the Baroness as she normally is: a villain, moreso given the current political climate there that it does feel like walking on eggshells. But most especially Canada as it shares a border with America, despite having anti-American sentiments itself from time to time. Even then it makes for an interesting thought experiment to turn the themes behind the Baroness’s appearances on its head.
