Overly sexualised designs

When it comes to needlessly sexualised character designs, it’s something that occurs in things like video games as well as CSI and its ilk. Like how the women characters often seem to dress slutty, despite their actions to the contrary and so on. Street Fighter’s Cammy White for a long time wore a thong leotard, yet to my knowledge she’s never been romantically involved nor is she particularly flirtatious. This has been undone as of the latest Street Fighter game, but it does make one wonder why on earth would they put her in a thong leotard to begin with. Not only would it increase her chances of getting her legs chaffed, but also how and why she’s never a flirtatious character at all.

It’s even weirder still to think that another Capcom character who’s an actual seductress going by the name of Morrigan Aensland dresses more modestly than she did, in the sense of not baring bare buttocks in combat. The fact that Cammy White is something of a soldier and it could be said that she used to dress in what appears to be a sexualised military uniform in-game is kind of distasteful really, like as if they’ve undermined the ability to take her seriously without having to sexualise her that it’s belated they’re desexualising her at this point. Now let’s consider what would happen if somebody were to do something similar to a male character, in which his direction strongly mirrors that of his female counterparts.

Let’s say that Graham Knightley’s the son of a billionaire and a salesman, at first glance he wears a skintight suit. But that’s not all as his trousers have bondage straps to it, that it highly sexualises the outfit in a way that echoes the unnecessary sexualisation done to somebody like Cammy White, who’s a soldier by the way. Or Lara Croft for another matter who’s an archaeologist, yet she appears in booty shorts in most games so far. You’d say that he kind of dresses rather fruity, not just because his suit is skintight, but also because he wears bondage trousers. But it’s not uncommon for female characters to dress kind of fruity themselves, sometimes bordering on catering to certain paraphilias.

Sort of like how NCIS’s Abby Sciutto dresses as if she panders to people’s fantasies of a Goth girlfriend, that it would be harder for her to get away with dressing in Goth clothes if she’s a guy lest she’d be seen as unprofessional. But it’s also kind of telling how we’re pretty desensitised to the rampant sexualisation of women in these stories, that it feels kind of normal in an unfortunate regard. It seems even if Graham Knightley isn’t dressed so skimpily, him wearing a bondage-inspired pantsuit could be seen as too sexualised for some people. He may be hypothetical for now, but this is to give you an idea of what game developers have been doing to female characters.

You’d say that the bondage straps are impractical and could get in the way, yet Cammy’s leotard is just as impractical and unhelpful considering the risk of chaffing at any point. This is to give you an idea of how a number of female characters’ outfits aren’t just overly sexualised, but also really impractical given the risk of accidents at any point. You’d wonder why on earth would he even wear bondage trousers, but you could ask the same thing about Cammy wearing a thong in public. It may not be equivalent at first but this is to give you an idea about how unnecessarily sexualised a number of female video game characters are, that the mere presence of a man in bondage trousers would make other male characters (who wear merely tight clothing) look tame.

There might be male characters that have come close to this in a way, look at what happened to Wal from Final Fantasy. There was controversy over the way he dressed, so he was eventually redesigned. But it does speak volumes about how desensitised people are to women dressing skimpily or in a sexualised manner in some other way, that Wal as he first appeared really caused a shock. As for the other male characters like say Fabrice Tientcheu, he’s a forensic scientist and he seems to dress the part at first. But he also wears a really tight shirt and trousers that it makes you wonder why he dresses the way he does, or Colin Sallow being the son of a politician who also dresses similarly.

Both men have a habit of wearing skintight clothing to show off their physiques, despite their professions that it does parallel the way female characters are unnecessarily sexualised. Back to the Abby Sciutto example, I do recall her wearing a skimpy dress despite being a scientist herself. If you have a male character who is a scientist and yet wears a tight shirt and tight trousers to show off his physique, it’s practically no different from what’s been done to her. If you have the son of a politician wearing similarly, you’d have to wonder why Ashley from Resident Evil used to dress in a way that arouses people’s sex drives. It’s increasingly no longer the case these days, but it speaks volumes about sexist character design.

The odd fact that almost everybody in game development is straight and male kind of influences things like character design and writing, which would explain why in some early incarnations of long running games, with the possible exception of educational games, female characters were almost always either sexualised (Samus Aran, Cammy White, Sonya Blade, Kitana and Mileena) or disempowered (Zelda and Princess Peach). This is getting better at this point in time, with game developers trying to give the latter more agency than they did before, and with the former being desexualised big time. But I suspect the former isn’t done to men often because it’s weird seeing them being actually objectified, the latter because it’s emasculating to see weak men.

This may not be the case anymore, but when it comes to Wal it’s weird seeing a male character being this sexualised. And why it’s kind of rare to find dudes in distress, it’s emasculating to depict male characters this way.

The End of America

Somebody had a prophecy of a dying patient, which turned out to be America all along. God has repeatedly called America to repentance, but the fact that America continues to be a warmonger means he’s going to give it the boot. He’s going to euthanise this nation-state, he’s really going to do it. The idea that America is really on life support all this time makes one wonder if it’s been on decline ever since, though what it has for a long time is spiritual decline. Considering that America was once a Christian colony, founded by Puritans, the downspiral to utter spiritual abomination is pretty horrifying. It truly is deserving of the moniker Mystery Babylon, for it has whored itself to ungodly beliefs and ideologies for too long and often that it’s going to go away anyways.

America also repeatedly gives into idolatry a lot by making idols out of politicians like Donald Trump, he’s even finding ways of getting rid of the charitable arm of the US government like USAID in favour of something else. Considering that Christians do their best to be charitable, this is one way of knowing that Trump doesn’t know what’s best for that nation. That they’ve made him into an idol suggests that their hearts are far from God, worshipping the blessing instead of the giver who is God. Because they’ve made Trump into an idol that he’s going to die anytime soon, that his faults will be exposed more often because they put too much trust in mere human beings than the holy God. So Trump will die and there’s nothing people can do about it.

Except stop giving into idolatry, because God doesn’t like that. But American Christians keep on doing this with Trump, so he’s going to die and there’s no stopping it. America has popularised and condoned nearly every vice imaginable, so far from what a Christian nation should be that it’s going to get revoked. It calls itself a Christian nation and takes pride in it, but continues to do many things contrary to it that it will be destroyed by its enemies. When America tries to get its hand on East Asian countries just to pick a fight with China, Russia will nuke American cities like New York City and even the capital with the deadliest nuclear bombs ever made. Far deadlier than other nuclear bombs before, so deadly it even wipes out a chunk of the human population in North America.

America will be no more and any nation allied with it will also face judgement for participating in the same sins as Mystery Babylon does, like how God will let China take over the Philippines as a result of the latter’s own wickedness and Russia to the rest of Europe and Canada. America’s end is nigh and there’s nothing we can do about it, because it’s going to get punished the harshest of all the nation-states around. It wouldn’t just be revoked, but also forgotten to time. Then it will disappear off the face of this planet forever.

Forgot You

There’s another prophecy by somebody else on 444Prophecy News about America not only drowning forever, but also becoming forgotten to time and kind of implying that America is Mystery Babylon. This is similar to a number of prophecies by Celestial, thus proving God’s point that America wouldn’t just be swallowed up by water (as mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Daughter Babylon). America would also be forgotten to time, because much of its influence around the world will be undone. This person said that America is Mystery Babylon because it has defiled itself, despite being the most blessed of all the developed world countries, it prostitutes itself to anything and everything spiritually abominable.

To the point where it reaps what it sows and it will be forgotten to time, even if not everything American will be completely undone, there will be little that remains of America that really stands the test of time. Consider what happened to the original Babylon, its influence over its neighbours was eventually undone, it became part of the Persian Empire and its people no longer speak in Akkadian. Whilst some of it remains in the sciences for long, the same can’t be said of other things like folk costumes where it’s kind of uncertain (to me) if traces of a Babylonian sartorial influence remains in present-day Iraqi folk costumes. Some of the lasting influences in Iraq could easily be either Turkish or Iranian.

An Akkadian substratum likely exists in two extant languages still in use in Iraq, especially Arabic and to some extent, Aramaic. It would be nice if a version of Akkadian still exists in Iraq, but unless if some conlang enthusiast creates it, Akkadian only exists as a phantasmal form (an influence to Mesopotamian Arabic and Aramaic at best). Consequently speaking when it comes to some of America’s allies like the Philippines, American influence will be largely and permanently undone that come the 2060s and the average Filipino is more likely to be bilingual in Mandarin and Tagalog by then. As for Canada, American influence will be replaced by Russian influence. It is kind of hopeful to think that future Canada is where traces of Americana still exist.

Something like cowboys, blue jeans, baseball, basketball (which was invented by a Canadian) and gridiron football, though this could also be a pipedream as we go further into the future. But if Canada ever acquiesces to become part of Russia in some way, that American influence there will also be largely undone too. Some of the things that are quintessentially American at this point would be largely forgotten at most, misattributed to other countries at best if they ever persist at all. American influence will be so largely undone as to contribute to how and why many countries will forget about America at all, especially on the cultural level.

Even if it were possible for American influence to persist, little of it will remain into the future because it will be mostly undone by other influences by then.

I Feel The Earth Move Under My Feet

There are prophecies about a serious earthquake hitting this planet and more specifically in America, mostly due to it being Mystery Babylon that no sooner or later something has to happen as to discipline this place. If America is Mystery Babylon, then we have passages in the Bible about this country getting destroyed by the seven-headed monster (which represents the emergence of ten geopolitical unions). New alliances will form in the aftermath of America’s downfall as a nation-state, not just natural disasters, but also how many of America’s allies will betray it and leave in favour of other countries and the like. Britain, Ireland and Canada may opt to join Russia as to avoid being bombed by it, the way it will do unto America.

The Philippines will end up joining China but because it also has transgressed so much as to reap what it sows, horrible the typhoon is and will be to our country. If America is Mystery Babylon and Mystery Babylon is due for destruction, I recall having this dream where God told me that America is Mystery Babylon and it will be destroyed. This was before the fires broke out in America, then I turned on the computer and learnt that this really was happening. There are going to be more natural disasters underway in America, one that will involve a serious earthquake that not only undermines the US economy but also physiogeographically destroys it for good. Halved into two.

The American population will be greatly reduced, not just by natural disasters but also through warfare and slavery. There are actually prophecies about both China and Russia enslaving Americans, but because America has transgressed so much for being a Puritan colony that it gets what it deserves. American POWs will be categorised by gender and physical capability, the skinnier ones get to do domestic chores whilst the more heavily built ones get to do physical labour more. Even more shocking is how Russia will become the face of western civilisation, but because he’ll allow it to take the place of America. A kind of Cold War irony of a plot twist because it was America that defeated the Soviet Union.

It sounds like a revanchist fantasy but this is going to happen in the future, Russia will take over much of the west for its apostasy and backsliding. All western countries, barring America, will become Russian protectorates. America itself will be directly ruled by Russia, adhering to Russian culture and laws more from then on. America will be made nearly unrecognisable from today, until it disappears forever into the oceans, never to be seen on land again. America has fallen, is fallen.

Suicide Is Painless

Somebody going by the name of Solitary Man said that Canada will be judged for condoning not only murder (especially euthanasia), but also suicide and particularly spiritual suicide, where this country refuses to repent and prefers to wallow in things detestable to the Lord. LGBT, euthanasia, so on and so forth, however politically incorrect to point this out, but I remember a devotional about how the world is losing its moral compass and it really does feel this way. There was a time when people would find exposing the navel too immodest even as late as the early 2000s, if this article is any indication, but come the 2010s and 2020s and it feels rather tame. It’s only a matter of time before bondagecore becomes the new athleisure, a sartorial phenomenon popularised and condoned by many women.

Transparent dresses, especially when worn without underwear, has become a trend among celebrities. CH Spurgeon even says that a lot of fashion is built on sexual provocation, so it’s not hard to see how and why people like Vivienne Westwood used to shock people by adding BDSM elements to the clothes they make and sell. Going back to that Salon article, there was a time when both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera used to provoke people by wearing really short crop tops. But now you have somebody like Sabrina Carpenter dressing in underwear in public, one would only wonder if some would take a step further by wearing BDSM clothing in public. If it ever becomes a thing, then we really have lost our moral compass by then. Canada might still have a chance if it ever repents in due time.

I kind of prayed for these countries to repent, though I could be lying or misremembering things, as well as praying to God to have Canada to join Russia to avoid falling into the same trap designed for its twin America. But this is still within the will of God where he’s going to use Russia to punish the apostate west with, Celestial even said that the Soviet Union will be back but with many more countries joining it this time. Especially countries that historically weren’t part of both the Communist Bloc and the Soviet Union proper, where countries like France, the Netherlands and Belgium all end up as Russian protectorates instead. It would be no different if Canada were to become a Russian protectorate, because it would be the same thing really.

Canada becoming a Russian protectorate might be preferable to what America will be getting, that’s becoming an extension of Russia itself before disappearing, but it’s still a sign that Canada has reaped the consequences of its actions that he’s going to allow its enemy (Russia) to conquer it, the same way he made Babylon do the same to Judah. If Canada repents, it would be a good thing. But it wouldn’t always take away the side effects, so it’ll still get conquered by Russia in some way. It seems the supposedly progressive things in life like LGBT activism and so on are really traps laid by the Devil to undermine people, except it’s painfully successful and it’s like Adam and Eve all over again. Sin enters the world, with horrible consequences to boot.

Now Europe and Canada will fall to Russia as its protectorates, with America as its colony because the west is apostate. The west has lost its first love, so it will fall down.
