Celestial said that demons might actually come to rule over America one day, though not in a way you’d expect them to be. Maybe it is kind of expected in some way, given how superhero aliens tend to look and act identical to humans. Especially in the stuff she mentions or implies relating to both DC and Marvel, that it seems these superhuman aliens might turn out to be true but also far from benign. She said that the Nordic aliens are just as vicious and cruel as the grey aliens are, but all the more deceptive due to their appearance being this largely identical to baseline human beings.
This also lines up neatly with a Biblical passage about Mystery Babylon, a nation-state that America’s often linked to, becoming the den of demons and abominable birds. That’s if aliens are taken to be demons and scions of demons (Nephilim), that it seems not surprising that America would also encounter a lot of UFO sightings. It really has become a den of abominations, demons and so on as to warrant its destruction in the foreseeable future. I also remember Celestial saying that American women will find themselves enslaved and sex trafficked, especially given their habit of dressing and acting provocatively, that no sooner or later what they think is being liberated and independent only puts them in bondage.
Not just in spiritual bondage to demons and the Devil, but also to their future captors who’ll enslave them. America is also the nation that popularised athleisure clothing, where clothing meant for exercising also doubles as everyday clothing. While informal and formal clothing have coexisted together before, the American version came around sometime in the 20th century, let’s not forget that Americans have a habit out of dressing for comfort and practicality. So even if New York is a fashion capital, it seems dressing too well isn’t something most Americans do. But I guess modern athleisure has its drawbacks, where there’s a race towards creating the most figure-enhancing garment.
This is also why short shorts also became popular, not only does it bring attention to the bare legs but also draw attention to the shape of the butt. Especially if it’s more form-fitting, but there was a time when these clothes were seen as too sexualised. Sort of like how 20th century pinup porn art often has women wearing short shorts, that it seems modern day women’s athleisure has oddly enough more similarities with 20th century pornographic art. It’s only a matter of time before dominatrixcore becomes the latest fashion trend among western women, that you could get a gist of what Celestial’s been talking about. But as America houses or popularises so many abominations that it will be undone.
If nuclear winter results from America being bombed from head to toe by its enemies, then athleisure as we know it will no longer be fashionable and comfortable. Why on earth would you wear booty shorts when global temperatures have plummeted? You’ll be better off wearing something more modest to keep yourself warm instead, especially should global cooling become a thing on Earth again in years. Perhaps God has a way of bringing something good out of something bad, especially in this case where America has succeeded in popularising all things abominable that losing this nation through war and natural disaster would undo its evil influence onto us all.
If God would allow global cooling and nuclear winter to happen, as to keep women from dressing suggestively, perhaps he’ll allow America to be destroyed entirely and gradually for all the abominations it has unleashed to the world. The fact that so many Americans believe in what they think is extraterrestrial life, instead of trusting in God and his angels more, is a sign of how far America has fallen from grace. For a country that was founded as a Christian colony, it indulges in many spiritually abominable things. It is the nation-state that houses so many abominable birds, that these UFOs (the abominable birds in the Bible) will take permanent residence there.
But where Americans find themselves openly siding more with demons (she uses the term aliens here), than they do with God that America will eventually be revoked in its entirety. The fact that UFOlogy is considered to be part of the paranormal like ESP and ghost activity are, that it’s also going to be linked to the occult in some way. Forbidden spiritual activity that involves cozying oneself with evil spirits, than with the Holy Spirit and angels. There are people who even say that those aliens are in fact demons, so they’re going to be far from benign anyways.
So it wouldn’t come as a surprise to them that alien demons are repulsed by people who wear Jesus Christ branded clothing, as if demons tremble in fear of what God will do to them. Demons tempting people into thinking that they are aliens, a kind of deception that’s accepted by many unsuspecting individuals the world over. There was a time when I used to read up on aliens and get scared by them, but the more I come to God and realise that aliens are in fact demons, the more sinister ufology becomes because it’s demon worship in another form. Maybe not necessarily worship, but a form of deception cloaking their real nature.
Though it could be argued that life exists outside of Earth, it wouldn’t necessarily manifest in a way we’d expect it to. Instead of extraterrestrial civilisations, we have angels and demons. If Christians get guardian angels to protect, guide and warn them, then the secular and unsuspecting have the misfortune of being captured by demons. The idea that aliens are really demons making themselves known to the naked human eye is kind of scary, but it does make one wonder if they really are real. Not just invisible supernatural entities, but also as visible paranormal ones. If most ghosts aren’t real, then all ghostly activity would be attributed to demons instead.
Which makes the link between ufology and the occult all the more apt, if because they involve dealing with malevolent spirits in some way or another. If Mystery Babylon is inhabited by all manner of abomination and demons, then America fits by having committed so many abominations and attracting demons that it’s really going to get the boot in the future.
There’s a post about what a recurring dream means for Christians is that it could sometimes be God’s way of confirming what’s going to happen or what’s already happening in their lives in some way, to tell you the truth I have been praying to God to help somebody like Antonia Fraser write a story where one character of hers no longer cheats but is married instead. I had have like 3 or 4 dreams involving this character in some way, like appearing in a new book and solving another case, doing new things, that there came a time when one early morning, I prayed to God to have Fraser to complete her story and he said that she’s already finishing those in some way relating to him providing abundance.
Not to mention I prayed for this author’s salvation and have her read devotionals and the Bible, so she’s on her track to the right path. It’s not perfect but the reason why I prayed for her salvation is because I remember reading a devotional stating that one could prevent somebody from going to hell through intercession, so I prayed for Fraser’s salvation as well as getting her to read Christian texts. Her own journey to sanctification wouldn’t be perfect, but for as long as she has enough time on Earth, she will turn to God and write to him in many, certain ways like one of her characters becoming a Christian wife in another story and stuff. She’s not there yet, but it’s going to be a thing in the near future. It may not be answered in the way I expected.
But it’s a confirmation of what’s to come and what’s already happening.
I’m not a fan of Neil Gaiman, nor am I a hater. But I find myself wondering what’s going to happen to his literary legacy once he’s outed for sexual abuse, that it’s quite likely it might be undone in some way. It’s also just as likely for it to become something of a cautionary story for any writer, should they get too intimate with readers as to sexually take advantage of them. It’s kind of surreal to think that for a while in the past, sometime between the 1990s and 2010s (20 years or so), he was lauded as one of the most female friendly writers in comic books ever. But it’s a low bar when almost every superheroine is rarely depicted as resembling an average woman over time, coupled with rampant sexualisation, blatant misogyny and how and why male superheroes like Superman and Batman often receive female counterparts.
I feel it’s possible for PD James’s legacy to be similarly undone, should there be a scandal surrounding her having had a hidden affair with a certain detective over the years who inspired one of her characters. In the cases with both Gaiman and James, it’s not so much using somebody as inspiration alone as the problem, but rather the ethics of using somebody as inspiration without their consent or the consequences that arise from controversial methods. Sort of like how there’s a DC Comics character that Gaiman came up with who’s closely based on somebody so specific, right down to the same number of piercings and stuff. Likewise it would be kind of shocking to realise that Dalgliesh is based on somebody James had an affair with, but it becomes obvious when it comes to who the latter is and what he has done. The only problem is that both their PR teams do their best to keep their reputations clean and unblemished.
Despite both of them having done wrong, that has to be disclosed immediately with James (should her secret affair be leaked to the public). It wouldn’t make for good publicity, but it should speak about the things they’ve done to other people. Especially if it risks revealing something suspicious about them, like how there’s a Neil Gaiman story featuring one character who’s based on a nanny he had an affair with. As for PD James, if Adam is based on a man she had an affair it yet kept it secret for long, then it seems disingenuous of her to not reveal it in time. There’s not much news about Gaiman’s affairs with other women, however controversial they are in nature, but I feel it’s got to do with his PR team making sure his reputation isn’t so badly tarnished.
It’s probably the same with PD James’s own PR team, that if she turned out to have an affair with someone that they’ll do anything to minimise it. Even though she should go through the consequences of her actions and posthumously so, since by then there’s no getting around Adam being eerily similar to her sidepiece should he ever be found out in time as well.

I kind of suspect that if you were to make a good argument about the problems with Harry Potter, especially as I realised that it’s got to be something else that’s objectionable about it. It can’t be magic or even violence since others accept, if not condone it, in other stories like the Chronicles of Narnia for instance, it’s probably something else that bothers them about it that they can’t articulate more intelligently or realise how and why. There are at least two arguments about the problem with the way morality is portrayed in the Harry Potter stories, where certain antics seem far darker in hindsight when the stakes got raised in subsequent tales.
That’s far stronger than complaining about magic in Harry Potter, since the same people don’t care about the same in something like Discworld. Discworld’s even written by an atheist, so it’s surprising why not a lot of Christians care about it either. If neither magic nor violence are things people care about in other stories, perhaps something else does and it’s not something they’re aware of in any way. It’s surprising that so far only two secular people have talked about the problem of ethics in the Harry Potter series, whereas Christians tend to criticise it for things they ignore, don’t care about or even justify in the stories they like. The latter approach is deeply hypocritical, the first approach is more nuanced and articulate.
Maybe I’m wrong in here but I feel complaining about morality in the Harry Potter tales feels more realistic than magic alone in Harry Potter, given almost nobody cares about the same in other stories that they like more. But this also speaks to how a lot of Christians are rather worldly in other regards, like how so many of them don’t object to things like magic and violence in stories they like reading. If you’re going to criticise the portrayal of magic in Harry Potter, you ought to do the same with Discworld. But double standards remain among many Christians, especially Evangelicals, because they often find loopholes in the things they condone or enjoy.
Even if they may not necessarily condone magic in fiction or even violence on principle, they wouldn’t mind either one or both of them in stories they like or don’t care much about. I still think objecting to the morality in Harry Potter is more realistic and honest as an argument, than magic or even violence because these are the same things others wouldn’t mind in the things they like.
I remember reading somewhere at two websites over whether or not Harry Potter is appropriate to read as a Christian, these two said that it might not be for the spiritually immature as they could still be learning the ropes in their faith. While Harry Potter may not necessarily lead somebody to the occult, it’s very easy to turn it into an idol which is actually the likeliest case. In the sense that people spend a lot of their time writing unofficial stories based on the characters they like (fanfiction), cosplaying as the characters and talking about Harry Potter lore in some way in a way one would do with God in some way or another. Anything can be an idol, even the unlikeliest ones at that.
If sin leads to sin, then it shouldn’t come as a surprise that some HP fans become sexually attracted to any character, they may not necessarily practise witchcraft from reading Harry Potter but idolatry of it leads to certain bad places and habits. I had something of a crush on the Punisher, which lead to bad places in hindsight. It would be no different if it was a Harry Potter character, which is certainly the case for other people and might even be the cause of someone else’s struggles with lust in some way. Whilst I don’t think Harry Potter necessarily leads people into doing witchcraft per say, idolatry of it could lead people to bad places, especially if it’s something either they themselves or people around them don’t anticipate in ways they don’t immediately realise.
Something like if someone else’s relative developed a habit of reading gay porn from reading Harry Potter slash that it’s something they got into from wanting to delve deeper into Harry Potter, but in ways that leads to bad consequences later on. It’s something they might end up regretting and denouncing, saying this series ruined their life or something like that. Their own peers might be unwitting enablers in the sense that they ended up setting up a trap for them, essentially a stumbling block that leads to lifelong struggles with something. The Bible instructs parents to instruct their children to do right and worship God, which goes double for Christian parents (whatever their denominations may be). But if a parent fails to do these, then it’s on them because it’s the blind leading the blind.
So both fall into a ditch together where the parent doesn’t realise what they ended up introducing their child to, especially if it leads to problems like an ongoing struggle with lust. So this is what the Bible says about not being a stumbling block for others, especially if it’s something they already struggle with on some level or something that would spiritually mislead them. At other times, the spiritually immature continue to struggle with these problems because they themselves are with other spiritually immature people in some manner. This is what the Bible means by not surrounding yourself with bad company, because they might mislead you whether by mistake or by intent. They may not even help you grow spiritually, so you might as well cut off them out of necessity.
This is also true for why some people in Christian households make idols out of Harry Potter or anything else, it could be that their parents and peers are merely religious. As in they merely practise rituals but aren’t deep in the faith themselves, that they often become stumbling blocks for those who’re susceptible to certain or any bad habits. In the sense that someone else’s parent may not unwittingly introduce their child to the occult through Harry Potter, but are unaware of what the child’s idolatry of the series might take them to. Especially to certain places that would really corrupt them in the long run, like say they might develop a habit of reading gay erotica from reading Harry Potter slash a lot. This could turn out to be true for one of my relatives.
But this is also true for everybody else in hindsight, because while it’s not necessarily wrong to enjoy Harry Potter per say, it’s very easy to turn it into an idol and if sin leads to sin, so inevitably if the Harry Potter fandom is any indication, idolatry of the series gives away to things like sexualising the characters in some fanfiction stories. Anybody who grew up in a merely religious household, where their parents technically worship God but aren’t in a personal relationship with him, would be practically brought up in a spiritually immature household in the sense that their own parents aren’t solid in their faith. Like they mostly practise rituals that they think is religious, but don’t bother talking to God to help them stop certain bad habits themselves.
So it’s on them for misleading their child, even by mistake, that leads to lifelong problems for the latter later on. Something like a perpetual struggle with reading gay porn, obsession with astrology and so on as it could be the case with one of my relatives, from making Harry Potter into their idol, though I don’t think Harry Potter necessarily makes somebody into witchcraft. But it’s very, very easy to turn it into an idol, so that’s why the HP fandom is the way it is and is also the most realistic and common outcome of all.
