Like I raised in my prior post, dogs aren’t allowed inside of Orthodox churches but this still varies between the locality. At some point or another, Russian Christians aren’t even allowed to own dogs. Who knows if the same attitude is found in Armenia but it’s possible to a degree but moreso among Ethiopian Orthodox churches though that remains to be seen as well.
Keep in mind that both Armenia and Ethiopia have general populations that belong to the Oriental Orthodox Church, which is somewhat different from the Eastern Orthodox Church in a few matters that I could be wrong about. But what’s clear with the Eastern Orthodox Church, if not Orthodox Churches in general, is that dogs aren’t allowed inside though at some point or another in Russia that owning a dog was forbidden for Christians.
Again I’m incorrect but I’m basing and extrapolating from the things I read.
