George Washington

The first president of America who really didn’t wear a wig, he just styled and powdered his hair (with the help of some people). Somebody else likened his appearance in youth to…Fabio a romance novel model.

Since he often powdered his hair, he could’ve washed his hair more often than the people did in his time especially when he wasn’t putting on an appearance and most likely to get rid of excess powder.

This is speculation given the context of where he came from but it’s a likely explanation and discrepancy between his chosen presentation and his actual appearance in private.
